    HI everyone

sorry not been in so much but had a busy day cleaning and washing (seems to have been the day for it today :D ) and the kitchen is now as clean as it has been for a very long time and I am :D:D:D:D

Had to reign myself in and not do too much, but feel so much better for having made a bit more of an effort.

Wish the kitchen cupboard doors would clean themselves though .... they were white once   but add a dog and a wet winter and they don't stay white for long  :( :(

Hubby is going to attack the garden tomorrow - there is a small tree trunk that needs the attention of a large saw. You'll have to picture me in my foreman's outfit directing operations  :lol::lol::lol: and making the tea.

Hugs to you all and hope that everyone has a bright and warm (yes Ange - the heating never switched on here today - and it was still 19 degrees inside when we came upstairs

sleep well everyone and enjoy the sun!

    hugs

Hi ange, trish, julie, WOnky, val and anyone else I have missed. Have read back a bit, then my brain faded......... which is nothing new.

N night and sleep well to those who have gone to bed. Shall I do the tables and a bit of fussing? Before I put the kettle on and raid the tin. Don't know where the time has gone, thought it was about 9 ish, not 11. Oh to be in the real world.

My eyes were open, I think my brain was asleep, was sat in chair and must have vegetated for a while after supper. I remember putting the dishwasher on, for just a few pots, I know, very lazy, but we don't use it often.

Not so bad, yes, at least I didn't throw my lamp around and apart from pootles to the loo, I slept well, took a while to get going in the morning, but that is normal. Been out into town, new slippers and a few bits and bats, that all add up to about £100, you don't get much for your money now...........

No money seems to shrink these days. It's not only the money, it is the stuff you buy as well that is not as good as it used to be.

Di you have the nice weather today?

No, not really, very dark and low cloud, with mist and fog over Pendle Hill, it wasn't really cold though.
Money only ever says one thing and thats "goodbye". I read that some have had lovely weather, out in the gardens and such. I think we will have better weather at the week end, so OH can cut the grass and I can supervise and throw tea around.

I'm in London and it was a really nice sunny day today. Makes a change to be warm. All the flowers are coming out now as well.

All the dafs are out, round and about, the bluebells are starting in the woods around us, we are in the middle of a country park area, in a little bungalow, beautiful spot. If you look for Ribble Valley on Google images, you will see the area.

I will look that up later. That sounds like heaven where you are. Is it near anyone else or are you on your own there?

no, we have people around, it is like a retirement park, for retired or semi retired peoples, love it love it love it, had to move from last house as the stairs were a nightmare for me. Super being on one level again, with a ramp from door to car, 8) Neighbours are fabulous, looked after us in the snow and ice, got shopping and such like, everyone looks out for each other. Feel truly blessed to live here.

That sounds so nice. What a beautiful place to live. It is nice to have neighbours like that doesn't it? Did you used to live far away from there?

I should imagine it is quiet there too is it? Well all you need now is some sun and warmer weather.

    Have you got a garden?
