That sounds so nice. What a beautiful place to live. It is nice to have neighbours like that doesn't it? Did you used to live far away from there?
I should imagine it is quiet there too is it? Well all you need now is some sun and warmer weather.
Have you got a garden?
Trish
About 30 40 minutes away, so not too far to move. It is soooooooooo quiet and peaceful, apart from birds, hedgehogs, deer, woodpeckers, squirrels, lots of wildlife. Gets a bit busier in summer time, but there is no traffic, only residents, just quiet. Going into town or a busy market etc, freaks me out now, cannot stand crowds of people or stacks of cars, sends me whappy. We are not far from town, about a mile or so, handy for everything we need. You can leave your doors unlocked here and no one woud bother you or try and get in. Not that we do, but next door never lock their doors and that is a rare thing nowadays.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Wow. What a perfect place to live and all that wildlife to see as well. It is like a little piece of heaven.
So quiet. You have everything, except it would be better if you had your health wouldn't it?? Can you walk far or are you limited because of your heart?0 -

It is really, we are lucky indeed. No, I cannot walk far, not just because of arthur, but heart condition as well, heart is only functioning at about 35 % of normal, after 2 heart attacks, 7 angioplasty's, two stents, now both blocked........less than 50 yards and I have to stop a while.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Just 35% of your heart working. How do you cope with that, you must get so tired. Can they do anymore for you? I know about Stents and Angioplasty.
I cannot walk I'm in a wheelchair all the time. You will often hear the girls mention my brolly or wheelchair.
Do you use a wheelchair?0 -

No, not at the moment, if I had to go round a huge shop, then I would ask for a buggy, otherwise it would be a no go. Yes, it does make you tired and frustrated, as I am sure you know all too well, with using a wheelchair. Cardiologist doesn't want to do any more at the moment, just loads of drugs. He knows me so well, 15 years now I have been under his care. I am his champion when it comes to angioplasty, groin, arm, wrists, groins again... I certainly would not be a candidate for hip or knee replacements, not with a dicky ticker. And still I am fighting the DLA to increase my care component. Makes me so mad and infuriates my Drs. Perhaps I should mention I throw lamps about!! :shock:XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I have had things in the past PulmonaryAnginagrams, Venograms? I have had to have a lot of needles into the Arteries such a lot done surgically as well.
Once instead of using the groin as I had had surgery there so It was impossible to put another line in the cut my arm and went into the Artery that way. You have proberly had those tests when thay put the dye in which makes you feel so hot.
I understand a bit of waht you are saying. Can they not replace the Stents? I would have though they could have done that. Take the blocked one out put a new one in?
Do you have to take Warfarin??
Answer this then I must go. Got grandson coming again tomorrow. I'm interested to know about you thougfh.0 -

I do know that dye very well indeed  The stents are blocked and the arteries are blocked in so many places that it would be impossible to get them re-opened again. I have had cut downs into artery in my arms as well.
No not warfarin, aspirin and clopidogrel, super antiplatelet drug, very expensive.
You best go rest, I will have my last knock out pills and cup of T and head to bed.........take lots of care...........hugs XXXX Bubbles.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
