Well peeps, I hve tried to read back about 10 pages, but my neck started hurting. did try

Reading about starting out on Pregabelin. I have been on them about 6 months now and they do help, especially with sleeping. I get some shooting pains in my legs still but that is from a trapped nerve in my back.

I'm suppose to take it easy while I am having the chiro sessions, but not easy when there is so much to do.

Ihave settled down rehossy appts.

Only go up for my blood tests now. It's the OH's turn this week.
He has to go to the cardiovascular clinic Tues and Weds. 8 yrs ago he had heart attack while we were on hols in Italy. Hospitals there are brilliant as are the drs and staff. After extended 2 weeks hol we got home on the insurance and med staff were waiting to get us home. From there the efficiency stopped. Took 6 mths for him to get his angiagram done, which was urgent, because we didn't know what the wider picture was. Hosp. lost notes that Italian dr wrote out in perfect English. Luckily we had two more sets made up. Two letters to our MP urging for prompt attn.
Eventually, we found out that he had had 3 previous heart attacks ( I now know when those happened) and at the time nothing was done. It transpired that he had created his own bypass with a small blood vessel opening up to make the blood circulate the heart as it should. One section is completely blocked and you wouldn't even get a strand of hair through it. The other week, he went for his annual check up at clinic and his ECG was all over the place, thus all this activity now. We don't think there is anything to worry about, but you can't help but be a bit anxious.

No sun here today. You`re not far from me, so I imagine it`s the same for you.

More or less got my head round the business with my central heating, although I`m not thrilled. Has to be done, and at least it`s a better time of year. Just the thought of all the decorating and cleaning afterwards though makes me feel sick!!

She was a locum and better than the uselessess..... We went through the repeats I got with her asking why I take each one and then she said how much she didn't like mtx and then the folic acid couldn't be making me feel ill but the mtx could.... so I just pointed out I don't feel sick like this when I take the mtx but do immediately I take the folic acid.... she said it might be then and has given me liquid and a lecture that I must take it what ever it does. She really doesn't like mtx...... but I do! Its clobbered the crohn's and it could do the bones and the eyes. Not sure what she has against it at all though she didn't say.

Thats all good Cris. Thank God, you have got a GP who listens at last. She can have as many opinions about the MTX as she likes, as long as she doesn`t stop it. It sounds like it`s what you`ve been waiting for.

Right, now some saffron with your cream, then His Lordship and I are going for a run - well he is, I`ll just watch and whistle. Get some practice in for when Chom comes......AngeXX

Hi Cris,
The folic definately makes me sick. I just stopped taking it altogether. My rheummy nurse and consultant are aware and dont seem to mind at all. I still take MTX but without the folic.

hi joan, julie ange trish, berti and anyone else I have missed, sorry.

Apologies for not saying n night last evening the puter crashed and I gave up in the end. Now we are running on a new internet provider and the laptop is going at a snail pace, while the main pc is like lightning.

Anyways, having a lazy day, got my blood results, raised serum c reactive and raised sedimentation rates, R factor normal. Looks like RA. Will wait and see the nurse on Wednesday, still, with the pains, aches, fatigue and everything else, I am not surprised at the results.
Best potter off for a nap, will be back later, just have to absorb the latest news........... :roll: Take care, will read back later, love to all, Bubbles

We are on a flight path to Gatwick and Heathrow this time of the year and the day you hear the planes all day about every 2 minutes, it's weird not hearing any at all.
