Not too bad, the GP was really good, even though I was not looking forward to seeing him again, three times in two weeks.....he had the door open ready for me, bless. He is fuming at the DLA and is writing another letter telling them like it is in no uncertain terms, which is good. Wether they take any notice or not, we will see. He said they have completely ignored him and the consultant, which has not pleased either of them.

When is this hearing going to be do you know yet?

With all these letters being written for you maybe you will not have to go to it. Lets hope that happens.

I hope that happens would be nice wouldn't it.?

There is no date, I have to send in the appeal form when I have the Drs latest letters, then it goes to independent review, if they won't increase the award, then I put in for a appeal panel review. As you say, they can change it at this stage and cancel the appeal, which I truly hope they do, but, if needs be, I will go. He could not believe how they have completely disregarded everything he and the Cons. have said. He thinks because of my age, they are saying that there cannot be so much wrong with me.

That is stupid, you can be that bad at any age. Look at some kiddies how sick they are or can get.

They should go on with the complaints you have, what the doctors consultants think the long term effects are. Things like that.

It does make me so made though.

When I had my first Pulmonary Embolism that was bad I had pain down my left arm in my chest up in my neck and I could not breathe.

It is stupid, but he suspects that it what they are messing about at. It makes me mad and he can see how it is affecting me too.

I have nursed a lot of people with PE's and they are very painful / frightening, my Dad had one a few years back after an op. The pain is a bit like the heart attack pain I had the last time. I would not wish it upon anyone. Talk about fear and dread.

I have had 13 attacks of that I'm now on Heparin which I do myself.

I was on Warfarin but I bled badly on it my INR was 10, they reversed it using Plasma, I was very very lucky though. Now I cannot breathe properly because of the damage done. I have gone through 30 years of being ill.

Then you go throuh what you had.

How can they say because of your age.??? It really beats me the way they talk at people also treat them is disgusting.

When you get arthur there is no beating him is there?

Your INR was high indeed. You were lucky and sadly it will have left a lot of damage. I used to like going round doing the heparin jabs, belly, thanks, done, next, lol. I didn't bruise people either. I was on warfarin for a while after the first heart attack, now I am on super doses of anti platelet, so if I cut myself I am like a stuck pig  you will be the same too I bet

    that will be very nice.

Off to the in laws on Sunday, quiet day tomorrow, resting up a bit. No, only the cats :D, have aunts uncles, well a couple now, the rest have passed away, and cousins who I never see, OH has brothers and sister, who we see from time to time. We are a bit hermit like and enjoy our own company, not sure if that is selfish or not, but that's us. I am an only one, thank goodness says my folks !!
