    Morning all, Jan, Elizabeth, Trish!

    Just popped in for a quick cuppa before I slip up to the pharmacy.....I've got this nasty sore throat back this morning, nothing seems to be touching it and I need something to hit it with. Apart from that, I am feeling better.

    Trish, please try to get a little rest today........you must be feeling dreadful.

    Jan, sorry you had a bad night - hope you can rest again today.

    Elizabeth, you seem to be up early? I hope you didn't have a bad night too?

    Feels a bit on the chilly side this morning, so going to have half an hour by the fire.

    Will just have some tea and toast, with blackcurrant jam, as I`m off out for lunch.....Ange.

    morning all, sorry you had a bad night Trish and Jan, sending hugs in abundance.

    Who's off to ASDA, not been there in a long long time. Last time I went, it was such a big shop and all the buggies were in use, so we didn't go round. It was like an aircraft hangar. :shock:

    Just coming too a bit, need to potter, siezing up..

    Hi all, I've been in the supermarket today to buy some chicken as son was confused as to which one to buy :? All I wanted was 4 chicken breasts, well there was lots of different kinds, some were fed corn some were fed something else in a open field. By the end I was too upset to buy the chicken I felt sorry for the poor little things, I had images of chickens running free eating corn and just being happy. So now were having Quorn fillets :roll:

    Chicken curry sounds lovely h010.gif I cannot remember the last time we had a really good curry, with all the f035.gif and a cool lager to go with it. Way back when. Ho Hum.

    Been pottering in the kitchen d015.gife010.gif had my v020.gif OH sorted the e025.gif I did try to help, but was more of a hindrance than an assistance, so I l010.gif back to my kitchen and gleamed the sink.Now starting to feel a bit b020.gif so not too long before meds and a little nap.

    I get a bit like that too, don't like to eat much meat or chicken really, was veggie for many years. We drive past an abbatoir fairly regularly and see the animals coming off the lorries and being pushed into pens, ready for slaughter, it always upsets me. Must not think about it or I will be bawling.

    Hi Trisher, annie, val , bubbles, cris, julie, joan, and everyone else that is in here but I have not glimpsed as I raced through trying to see what was going on :oops: :oops:

    sorry some of you had a really tough night last night.

    I had a bit of a tough busy day yesterday and didn't get on the computer .... also forgot to put my resting splints on last night & am feeling it today cos I did do quite a bit of driving yesterday.

    have brought some cream buns in to cheer us up .... and also a huge bar of CDM for those who partake :wink:

    will have a cuppa while I am here ..... maybe need it in a bath rather than a bucket though :roll: :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    CDM is there any left or have you eaten it all ...I really need cheering up....the tea has ended up all over the floor..chicken potatoes the lot....sorry some of you had a bad night...I hope trish is getting some rest....hugs to everyone that needs it........

    Hi Wonky, Barbara, Jan.........oh dear, so many problems and disasters.............hope you are all recovering.

    Going to get myself a cuppa T, think I'll join Wonky and have it in a bath instead of a bucket. Don't specially want CDM but would happily exchange hubby for a fudge finger at the moment.

    We've had a heavy rain shower and now everything smells clean and fresh.............looks as though we might get some more rain, too.
