Hi friends, sorry not been about, was out at the folks today and then my back kicked into spasm with a vengeance so I have been unable to sit, stand or do anything but move about slowly. Arthur likes to make itself very well known sometimes, as we all know, today is one of those days.

Having gone to town with pain killers, I think I am one over my 8 limit, but it will be ok, plus the amitrip and all my other pills, I thought I would grab a moments grace and say hi, have a cup of T and potter in a corner. My head is fuddled, so I doubt I will read back at the moment, just wanted to say hello. Hope everyone is fair and not getting cold, I was frozen, so the heating is on full tilt. xx Bubbles.

Hi Everyone

Sorry did not get on I have only just woken up. I was so tired after hossy visit. They have upped my meds, yes I got a prescription at last.

I had full bloods done and one was for bone, never heard of that before. Was given another Medrone injection and they have said when I see them again they are happy to giive me another one even if I get some relief.

They could see I was unwell, so although we wentt up in the car my doctor got an ambulance to take me home. Sshe said it was cold out and she did not want me out in the cold. How nice was that, I'm so spoiled at times.

I know I should not have gone but I had no meds so I had to go. My GP would not give me any more as the hossy had not told her that I was taking Cyclosporin. I can quite understand her as if something had gone wrong she would have been in trouble for giveing me meds that she had had no letter from the hossy about taking them.
They said the steroid injection might help my chest as well. My chest has been bubbling away but I think the AB's are kicking in now.

I hope you are all ok, Bubbles hope your back is better soon. Missed out late night chats :oops:

Morning all,

Glad to see they spoiled you Trisher.
My unoperated hip has gone now.Suddenly I am struggling to sit, lay down and walk. Doesnt leave me many options as havent learnt to walk on my hands yet.And anyway the elbows would never support me.
The pain is awful and I was hoping to keep going a bit longer what with the childrens health issues.I think i need a nice cuppa.

Hi Elizebeth...you poor thing..are you on the waiting list for this hip...I really hope it improves ....it is hard when you have chidren to look after...sorry theres your cuppa..

I should be on the waiting list but they want to do my foot first as I will need to walk a lot after a THR to keep joint healthy. It has deteriorated so suddenly and quickly i am quite shocked.I dont really have time to fit 2 ops in!

Hi Trish, Barbara, Elizabeth and all who may be lurking in the cake tin.

I missed our chats too, glad you got on ok at the hospital and that they looked after you as they should. Nothing wrong with needing to sleep, says me who is an incurable insomniac. :roll:

Back is gnawing still, but I am trying to pretend it isn't there and pottering as much as I can. Hope it improves for Friday evening as we are off to a friends night time wedding do. They will have to put up with me pottering, no way can I sit. We won't stay too late, but it will be good to go.

OH has been out to water the garden, things are so dry here. I viewed from the window as it is darned chilly out. 8) Our local river is almost dry as a bone and you could walk across it easily without getting wet.

Bubbles, hope your back eases off for you sending you some (((())))) We do do some nice Lavender cow pats they work wonders to a lot of peeps.
