    evening all,

well it has been quiet in here today  hope everyone is ok?

Huge hugs to everyone in here..... can't name everyone but I am thinking of you all when I read your posts.

Jan - have a good break with your sister & I hope it gets warmer for you

Julie - I would say give the counselling a go because it might be just the thing and the only way to know is to give it a try. I have been helped by several different sessions of counselling, and well it can be tough emotionally but it can really help. I think also what you get out of it depends on what effort you are prepared to put into it.

anyone seen cris since she attempted to trim the sheep

Annie - hugs to you and you take things easy cos next week will be tough so save your energy

I'll jsut sit here now and toast myself by the fire.
    cuppa anyone?

    hugs

Well ........ my afternoon was different  had to battle with my radio alarm clock cos well it has got rather choosy about when it wants to wake us up   so had to drive to Argos to get another. Spent a bit more to get a DAB one, and it is good, but argos said it needed one kind of battery (which I bought ) only to find when I opened it up that it needed another type, so hubby had to go out to shop for me

it has been fun tuning it in & pressing all the buttons to see what they all do :lol::lol: not alwyas in the right order :lol::lol:

trouble is my hips are complaining that I did too much driving and walking, so not so good :(

HOpe littlelegs was ok with you - with us she is limping again, and I think it will be a vets visit tomorrow if it is still as bad. She is not hurting I don't think, but she keeps trying to tuck that paw under her when she is lying down, and she is really stiff when she gets up, and stretches that paw a lot :? :? :? :?

dad said ' do you think she's got your problem' as if 'arthritis' is the new word which should not be spoken

there was me thinking that owners grew to look like their dogs ...... not in this house  she is getting to look more like me everyday :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

well done on shearing anything that moved :lol:

Just popping in for a hot choc. Feeling a bit sicky tonight, which is unusual for me.

Got to be up at daft o`clock in the morning, an inspector from the central heating firm coming at 8 o`clock to check everything is OK....Bet he doesn`t arrive before lunchtime!! Just get somewhere straight, then another bloke with huge feet arrives.

Wonks, give Littlelegs a big cuddle from me. I remember Amber having "do`s" like that, and vet telling me it was nothing to worry about......and it wasn`t.

Cris, what day are you going to the hozzie? I will be available as getaway driver again, if needed, with Littlelegs and Slipper Boy to guide me...........Ange.

Cris - no seeds obvious .... but we keep looking after the experience of the glass in her paw.

she was 7 in January  so we'll see what she is like tomorrow.

Ange - thanks for that , it is good to know that it might not be anything to worry about.

Sorry you have to be up early tomorrow - hope he arrives when he should and behaves himself!!!

    hugs to you both

Hi Wonky, Annie, Julie, those who have gone to bed, Cris, wherever you are? Did they find you after shearing sheep? I haven't read back so far, my mind is not with the rest of me.

Late as ever, was watching the news and wish I hadn't bothered, it seems the very few are dictating the nation at the moment. Anyway, it is all getting beyond me and we will be even further down the creek soon, if they don't get something sorted out.

Did we go out? Yes, of course we did, goodness, I thought it was yesterday already and it's not even tomorrow yet  Lunch was v nice, tried to nap at t time, but it was a waste of time, watching the clock.........fatigues but unable to settle, even with a load of drugs, I hate that with a passion.

Is the kettle on? I could use a cup of T.

Good Afternoon to all, Toni, Julie, anyone else in.........I did read back a bit, but the memory fails me.

Hope you are all having really good days.

Julie, I am being really, really good - see, I've sneaked away for a sit-down and a cuppa and left hubby upstairs with a hammer and a stanley knife....................hmmmmm, perhaps I'll reconsider and go back up there just in case.

I'll definitely have a very large builders in the bucket before I go!

Jeez, this wind is so cold, seeing snow here wouldn't have surprised me and my knees have got all upset again. I found a very old knitting pattern for knee warmers and as soon as we are settled and I get some r and r time I will be getting the needles out!
