    5 times, I will be sick :shock: :!:

    I have been to see the rheummy today, 7 x-rays, 7 lots of bloods, on and off couches and x -ray tables............... says it is OA and Fybro, doubts that the bloods will show RA, wants to up the amitryptiline and start gabapentin or pregabalin for neuropathy and pain and to help with proper sleep. He said, do you wake up feeling like you have had a good rest", I said no, never, I would not know what that is like............. :shock:

    Bubbles I take Amy take 3 at night also take Gaberpentin for my phantom pain I have 900mg x 3 times a day it is good.

    I know Cris takes the Pregalin which is simular to Gaberpentine.

    I know he wants to up the dose, he said I am on a very low dose, 20mg at the moment. He will decide which of the other new ones on my next visit I presume, or when he writes to my GP. It sounds like it helps a bit for sure, hope it doesnt make you feel sickly, I have phobia about that, long story, but the thoughts freak me completely. I will ask for maxolon if needs be, GP won't mind that.

    What Gaberpentine? No you do not get sickness with it. You have to up it slowly at first I cannot remember it making me sick I will read the information paper and tell you.

    If it can make you feel sick my GP told me to suck ice lollies. It works for me.

    Honestly, ropey, but that's just from being this way and that way, as you say, we have all been there, love it when they say, just relax, let me take your arm / leg / sorry love, I don't know the meaning of the word, lol.     with me having long term anxiety and depression and now Fybro, I felt a bit like I was wasting their time, there was a lot I wanted to say, but forgot to mention........hey ho. perhaps I am just being paranoid.

    I have 3 brown ones that might be 150 mgs I'm not sure as hubby does mine so I don't get muddled.

    I will have to go soon I'm getting a little whoosy.

    I know, it beggars belief sometimes. I was like a beached whale trying to get off the x ray table and she stood there watching me.......... :shock:

    You are not wasting their time. You deserve to be seen and given proper treatment. How many years have you been on the other side of this and helping people who were ill??

    Patients seem to think that we waste their time. We all seem to do that. How many patients have you heard say that? Quite a lot. you are being a little paranoid but that is no shame on you.

    You be you talk to the doctors ask questions next time you go. You know what it is like to see the doctor so you will not have that thought.

    Try and go more relaxed and write your questions down. :)

    Hi all, no one up, hope you're all having a good nights sleep. Just popped in for hot choccy and hugs, I see there's plenty of both been left behind. Sorry to hear that a few of you have been having a rough time lately and wanted to send some hugs (((((xx))))), hope theres enough to go around. Feeling at a low ebb myself at the mo, all these sleepless nights are getting me down. Had diagnosis on feet, more OA and the prospect of more to come, as and when other bits of me are xrayed. Officially, neck, shoulders and now feet, but really fingers, wrists, knees, elbows, ankles as well!!. Ah well thats enough self pity, hope you all have a good day, love and hugs, Brenda :|:|:|
