Awe I bet you had a hard job with him at first didn't you? Is he ok now? No lasting effects?
I don't know how these girls do this but I suppose they are so spaced out they just don't think or don't care.
Was he like that when you first got him?? Poor mite.
Was he taken away from his mum or did she give him up?
I have a cousin who was adopted. They had to go to court about changing his name he was so scared to go incase they made him go back to his mum.
That was quite a long time ago now though so maybe things are different.

You betcha, OH always knows where I am pottering, due to noise, breakages, dropping things, or me shouting, "can you help me up" followed by, "what were you doing down there anyway".XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

It was getting light here too, we are in the middle of the woods, so we have so many birdies chirping away.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

He was recovered from the drugs by the time we got him but he was so neglected poor thing. He had a huge head and a tiny body, felt like he would fly over your shoulder if you held him there. I'm sure his anger is a result of his early experiences and we recently discovered that he has only 5% vision in his left eye, this came as a bit of a shock. Got to have this checked out as they're not sure what the cause of that is.
He and his sister were removed from mums care, she had gone to prison for shop lifting (kids were with her) then the local authority decided it was too risky for them to go back to her. They made so much progress, we loved them immediately, but had to fight to keep them together as the social workers wanted to split them up, but thankfully we won in the end. It was a very difficult time, but they're both fine now and lovely kids. Definitely no regrets at all xx0 -
We have a lot of trees around us so that is nice we only see the neighbours houses in winter when the leaves has fallen off.
We have a nice garden as well and a pond with Khoi fish in them.
I sent away for geraninum it is a rose one, the picture looks like roses in pink and white. It said you get lots of flowers on it.
Hubby always saying what you bought now. ha ha He has made a space for it I only ordered it yesterday.0 -

They are lovely, the rose ones, you will like them. We, well, OH has planted all the ones that we kept in Mums greenhouse over winter, garden is coming on nicely now, Bill has been very busy and working hard, while I make T and offer encouragement. We usually raid the folks' garden every time we go.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

That is a fantastic story. I hope they can do something for his eye.
Maybe a result from the drugs is that possible? You must be a very special couple to help children like that also to adopt two as well.
I also read books by Tory Haden. She helped children like your little boy also children who would not talk other who broke everything in the bedroom through anger.
She kept on with them and some of the stories they bought their children to see her.
Some of the stories she told were really bad, moloested children.
She got through to them in the end.
You and your hubby are very special people.
You work for them now? Did you say an officer?

I know what you mean, I take 10 in a morning, that is like a meal on its own, then 4 at lunch, 6 at tea time, 5 late evening and one at bed, plus 8 pain killers on top of that lot.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0
