mummyb wrote:Hi Julie, on 10mg to start but he said he'll review it when i go to his clinic. What's it like to take?? Not sureow I feel at the moment, not ure whether to be relieved because of diagnosis or upset at the diagnosis. At the moment, I think its more glad than sad. xx
Having the diagnosis and getting the treatment is important, the sooner you start the treatment the better. When I started mtx I started on 10mg then went up and up but it made me sick so I can only take 5mg, you will have to take folic acid too as it helps with the side affects. It can take some time to get the treatment right for you try not to worry too much about that now you have your diagnosis, there are lots of treatments now for r/a. If you ever need to any advise please ask, there is a website I found the other day called nras found it on google.

Debs when my kids were little they had nets and I took them tadpole fishing and when they got older we did go fishing. My grandad did a lot of fishing when he was alive and my eldest brother went with him a lot. My brother and his fam have a boat that they go away on the canal, and I think they do some fishing while they are away.
Julie xx((((hugs)))) n xxxxx to ya all0 -
Hi Wonky, I did put the kettle on for you.
weve had showers here all day on & off. Its been a bit heavier tonight but still hot & muggy. I was so stuff up this morning i couldnt breathe through me nose properly  sounded like i had flu but i get that with Fibro anyway, fibro flu is clears up after an hour or so.
Have you rested up a bit today then? Ive been struggling too tryin to clean the house. Oh will help me tomorrow.
debs0 -
Julie my dad had a boat for years, he took us sea fishing once then rung the bank manager when we got off all feeling bad & brought this boat. we used to fish off that too but its not as easy as off the banks.
weve got a lake on the site were staying on & have been cornwall fishing for the past 3 years.

HI Debs ... you spotted me quick! ta for putting the kettle on!
Interesting what you say about the 'fibro flu' I'm like that a bit morning and night at the mo but the inhalers and antihistamines are helping as we think it's my hayfever. Hope it's not fibro
tried to rest up.... but you know what it's like ....... car alarms going off, kids screaming outside, dogs yapping (not mine!) etc etc not to mention my dad's coming tomorrow so need to find him some room to sleep in the spare room ... he'll have to make do with the boxes still being in there .... not got them sorted - again   I think he'd be shocked if they had moved!!
have a great time away if I don't see you before you go.
hugs
