    Hi Jan, now we are three :D

    Yes trish, index fingers are the worst, when the Rheummy pressed them I nearly fell of the chair, wrists, fingers are starting to go a bit mis shapen, uncomfortable to open my fingers wide.

    I'm the other way I cannot bend them. On my index finger ans the next one I have got a hard lump come up on both. They are Swollen and red and hurt from rhe joint to my knuckle to my wrists arr painful. What might it be?

    Well if you had said so years ago you could have had mine there was nothing wrong with them.

    I asked fot the bones to go to someone who had been in accidents to use as grafts
    though.

    I would hazzard RA, flaring, usually if they are hot and red, means there is a flare going on.

    I do, honest, I was just sorting papers and came across the rheummy report and had a read, now it is going in the cupboard. Just one of those days when everything hurts. Tomorrow will be better. I am going to M&S, so that will cheer me up, lol.
    I would love a day off, but, then I would whittle and worry that I was not pottering.

    Right peoples, I am done in, so I will have a couple of biscuits and cup of T and then go to bed.

    I have been flaring but not like this it is as if I have letters from the hosst and they say I'm flaring but I have never been like this before.

    My joints have been bad but not this way so it could still be a flare?

    Before I lost mine I had heard on the radio of it being done and being a success so that is why I asked.

    Whether they did I don't know. That was years ago now they used rods I suppose nowadays.

    To be honest I didn't take them last night because I was so drowsy at work today. Not sure whether the drowsyness was due to the amitrips or the methotrexate or a combination of them both. Anyway here I am in the wide awake club again........

    I keep thinking I should try to get back to sleep but feel wide awake. Might as well have taken the amitryps cos gonna be tired tomorrow anyway for being awake half the night! Just can't win really :(
