trish it is on north east coast..in yorkshire..it is so beautiful...but very hilly.

Hi to all, nite nite Val - glad to see you are feeling more positive - Trish are you still there?

Very late tonight, have been out most of the day for one thing or another. Have just called in for a bedtime builders and a couple of bickies to dunk.......ginger ones, please.

Garden beginning to look better, have now come up with a proper design..........got some French lavender today, so that will go in tomorrow. I have the very spot for it.

French Lavender is much stronger, ie the lavender from Provence is the most sought after. Wonderful fields of it.

Been relaxing, OH can hardly move after shifting nearly 2 tons of chippings for the garden. Bless, I said, now you know what I feel like, each and every day, (I didn't say it in a horrid way), as in, I can sympathise with you dear and I have only pottered.

It has a stronger scent than the English lavender, but is not so robust. I lost the French one in the snow earlier this year but the English one survived and is bursting all over the place now.

It's a bit longer than two weeks Trish - 3 months since hubby was able to come down here and start clearing the jungle. Have now got a complete design for it....we've had to allow for the lumps and bumps we haven't been able to flatten out yet. It all came together in my mind over last weekend, so I am now working to a plan, rather than guesswork (I do seem to have guessed right mostly - just one heather which I will have to move.

I think a bit of retail therapy, pottering round a little retail park, not far away from us. Neighbour was telling us about it, so we will have a nosey, that's if we can both walk, :shock:
