kettle is on strike for overtime pay

my BP is bound to be up ..... one of the builders has worked all morning outside the kitchen window with no shirt on but better not mention that to hubby

littlelegs is confused and all barked out :roll: but she'll survive.

only bad news ... they decided to do the painting first so my step & path will be wonky for a while longer :roll:

Since the rain has come the builders have gone home (told em it was their fault .... they did start painting :roll: :roll: :roll: ) but at least I can have a lie down now - am exhausted .... two really early mornings have been no good.

Me Sultry, not a bit of it, well, now you come to think of it, you could be right, more of a Hattie Jaques in a slightly off mood. :shock:

Trish was ok, just resting up. That made two of us.

How do I put a picture on here, like the one you have of me, in my nursing days.? I thought I was computer savvy, but obviously this time it is eluding me.

OH has shifted one and a half tons of white chippings this pm, we now have a lovely path, bordered by big logs and extra chippings on our parking area. We look very smart. I offered lots of encouragement and made cups of T. Poor thing, he is in the shower, washing his blisters, bless. He has worked very hard.

Having new steps built at the end of the month, with a decking area to step out onto at the back door, 8 steps down, nice and shallow. Cannot wait.

T'is quiet here today, I had better take my pills, have a cuppa and then it must be nap time..........

Hope the hills weren't too much for you .... are the cliff lifts still working? I used to love them when I was at college there ... until the time it broke down halfway up the cliff :shock:

Hi wonky val trish and jan....I love Scarborough....but I really found it hard this time...quite upsetting really....but when I have had my THR I will be back...thank goodness the lifts where working...anyone fancy a drink kettle is on..
