I've been awake since 4.30, cannot sleep again, will have yet another cuppa. Been lurking outside in my nightie - lovely out there, fresh and cool.
There was a sea mist when I first woke, sat and watched it roll away to the Downs at the back of us. Will take this cuppa outside and watch the birdies.

Hi Julie, Joan, Babycham, Toni and anyone sat under the fan. Hope everyone is coping with the hot weather. Hugs all round and air kisses, as it is too hot for too many kisses and cuddles.
Any closer and we will all be touching, a tad humid to say the LEAST. Humidity and I are not good bed fellows, legs like balloons, lots of brow mopping and we are not even in the heatwave area.
OH has been busy building a lovely garden arch, sweating like a preverbial, but not much in the way of cursing, apart from wasps getting a few choice words.
I made lots of drinks and gave encouragement, held bits of wood when he was making the gate. All looks very posh, the neighbours said "will we still talk to them"? I was about to say NO, but I didn'tXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Hi Val, glad you had a good time, we used to go to either Cleethorpes or Mablethorpe every year, I remember when the tide is out you can walk to amsterdam, it seems so far away to get to any water.
I bet it has changes since I was last there, at least 30 years ago, good grief, now I feel very old. :roll:XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Hi Bubbles think they've all gone home now - or maybe for a cool shower
hey maybe we can have a shower put in the ladies loo!!!
that would be lovely
Mind you we'd have to watch out for any mac wearers....you know offering to hand out towels..

Welcome Back Debs!
I am thrilled that you`ve had such a great time. I hoped you would.
I would love to see Cornwall again. Had many lovely times there when the lads were small. It`s such a long way now though, and I`m not sure I want to do it without Frank. Best to have the memories eh?
Go and get some rest. Talk soon......Much love.......Ange.0 -
Thanks Ange, its a beautiful place but its such a long journey.
im sure you have wonderful memories & it would be hard doing it without him (sorry)
we got diverted off M5 & we added 2hrs extra to the trip thanks to the satnav.
Take care, debs0 -
Welcome back Debs, glad you had a great time. Good to see you back in the fold, so to speak. Hoping you are ok, apart from a bit of sunburn and a lot of mud.
Hi to everyone, I bet the pool is still busy. I could jump in, but they have outlawed whaling and we don't want GreenPeace trying to float me back out to sea.
I will sit at the side and drink iced tea, with a huge fan on me. Goodness I am leaking like a sieve.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Hi Debs glad you had a lovely holiday, hi bubbles think I will sit on the side with you as I am a beach whale  I blame it on my height, I should be at least 16ft tall
