    morning all, FOOT and MOUTH, goodness, well, I know people can get it as I have nursed them myself.

    I think the steroid cream sounds about right and I might bring my GP appointment forward to Monday if I can. My footsie is a mess with them. Itching like mad, I have poison ivy, that's it.

    Anyway, it is a wet and murky day here, cannot see across the valley, I have put the heating on, it was chilly. It came on at 16 degrees and I said to OH, it should be tested once in a while, just to check it is ok :wink:

    Might go to Tesco and the Factory shop for a nosey round. Something to do while it is sopping wet. Perhaps a nice cup of coffee first. Hope everyone is as ok as possible

    A builders please, Joan, while I say hi to everyone else that I can remember..........

    Bubbles, Foot and Mouth?.........I had some goings on with that a few years ago.............not that I got it, just helping to deal with an outbreak.

    Cris, dog bites are so scary..........you've been having a rough time down there in your fey faerie land just lately. You need to get on the right side of the piskies.............hope you have a good sale!

    Trish, I'm hoping that you are feeling a tad better and that you are enjoying the day with your grandson.

    Afternoon all, done a little shopping, only two small shops, so that was ok. The Tesco near us is not a big shop, so I didn't need a buggy, which is a good job as they had none. Been raining for most of the day here, but warm and humid. There was me with the heating on first thing. :shock:

    Lunched (at home), showered, done a bit of pottering, back is shouting the odds and my lurgy is itching like mad, whatever it is. Bleached the shower, in case it is contagious, don't want OH with lurgies as well.

    Might ring podiatry and see if they can fit me in asap, will warn them to wear full germ warfare kit.

    I could nod off, so I will potter a bit more, not that I need to, the place is like a new pin and smells of bleach is making my eyes water. :shock:

    I did the sale.... but only just :lol::lol::lol: forgot to wake up till 8.10 :shock: :oops: :oops: Still i was better than they have been of late..... Got to unload the car now if anyone is free to give us a hand please? :wink:

    Jan I didn't bit them... I absolutely froze and did think they were going to get nasty but thankfully they didn't and it as a mix of worry and over excitement hence no real damage..... mind I shall never walk in their bit again :wink: Glad your off now ill tuesday, sounds like you earned it.

    There isn't FMD back is there? hell that's the thing that scares me to the absolute core! I haven't heard any news today so please tell me its not back......

    I will have a large coffee. Grandson gone now so peace is here again.

    He is a little pickle, it is too quiet now. He is coming for the day as his mum wants to go out so we are having him.

    It is far too quiet want him back again.

    No, NO FMD, it was just mentioned casually as Bubbles has a rash on her foot. It scares me to death, too!

    hi All, Thats took some reading through :roll:
    New names for Bubbles well ive just about got it :lol:
    I think the rash youve got is either eczema or heat rash, i get it too. tiny clear blisters on hands,fingers & feet. Mine itch like mad but i pop them & just put germaline on them to stop any nastys getting in. But get it checked out just in case.
    my eldest had foot & mouth yrs back, :shock: :roll: I couldnt believe it when the dr told me what she'd got :shock:

    I hope everyone enjoyed there roast dinner at Trishers.
    Cris did you find them bags as i had a funny dream about bagging up dog & cat food all night & i woke up knackered :shock: :lol:

    Right ive put the kettle on to see whos still in.

    I had a lovely day with grandson today. It was beautiful......he is coming to us for the day on Tuesday while his mum goes out.....so that will be nice.

    Hi Trish glad to hear you had a lovely day today with your boy. You'll be looking forward to Tuesday now, a whole day to yourselves.

    I had a long sleep this morning, went out for a little shopping and have been at home resting for the rest of the day, just watching the movie The Damned United, about Leeds United and Brian Clough.

    So not much to report really, my boy has been a handful today, so was a relief when his bedtime came!!!!!!

    Yeah Trish took Methotrexate on Friday evening, was fine yesterday but really tired today. I really have to take it at the weekend cos I would n't be able to work if I took it through the week. Am taking folic acid, usually take this on Monday evening.

    Not sure what was wrong with him really, just one of those whingy days I guess. He hasn't listened to anyone and just been quite naughty, had to give hm time out at one point. Think he's getting restless now cos school comin to an end nd he'll be in a different class when he goes back, he doesn't cope very well with change. He's had a lovely reception year and will be in Year one after the summer. He got a lovely school report on Friday, he seems to be doing really well.

    How long are your grandson and DIL staying

    They are staying 5 weeks he has been off two weeks before he came here. When he goes back there is about a week to get him back into early mornings again. He starts school at 8 am so they leave at 7.15 am

    What are you going to do with him when he is off for the summer? I will have him!!
