Nite Bubbles sweet dreams .
I hope so Rose as until they find out what is what I cannot be treated properly for Arthur as the meds go for the liver so I really only have a very low dose of one of the meds.
I'm in a lot of pain flaring nearly all the time and having a rotten time of it.
Well, I must go now my bed is calling I will see you tomorrow Rose.
You try and have a goodnight.
Sending (((()))) for you as well see you tomorrow, been nice chatting to you

Well i have suffered since i was 18 with bottom of back left knee and right ankle due to an accident but i didnt associate that with arthur till a few years ago when i was diag . My hands have been hurting for years when i was younger had reynauds syndrome that went and over time got worse and seemed to come and go, really painful base of thumb. Just like someone hammering a nail in the joint!! last 20 years got worse until about 7 years now when i had finally had enough of what was happening to me i went to Drs and got sent to rheumy. Only recently been back cos i have been slowly consumed and cant stand anymore. I need help! took a lot to admit that i am used to helping others all the time.
I have got worse over the 18months i think this was when the fibro kicked in when i had really bad flue at xmas i had it for 3 months but always gritted me teeth and got on with it . Now i feel ill all the time achey and then pain in every joint you kno the usual its a nightmare! occassionally you feel almost human and try to do something and then realise you cant or it hurts to much. totally depressing !
sorry its a long one but you did ask lol
anyways am off to beddibyes now and hope you feel better tomorrow Nite

Hi WOnky, that arnica bath soak sounds wonderful. The last time I had a bath was about 15 months ago, then it was like raising the Titanic and caused so much fuss, bother and pain, I gave up completely and only use the shower now. I could not get in a bath now, not without a garage winch.
Hi to everyone else too, hugs and hope everyone is as ok as possible and arthur is not being a devil. Have not read back, but wanted to say hi.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Evening, i see arthurs still play us all up
I'll have a few of the scones with me fresh cream ta muchly.
I've proberbly missed most of you as you have more sense then me staying up til all hours. Well the nights dont like me much. Its ok wandering here this time of the year but winters no joke when you cant sleep & its freezing when you get up,Hence i try to lay in bed as long as possible then i cant win as i stiffen up even more.

Receiving you loud and clear, I detest going to bed, long story, but I am a night owl, much to OH dismay, tries to get me to go to bed at a fairly reasonable time, like 1am, or 2am, but usually it is nearer 3 before I can barely walk and am almost asleep on my feet. Anyway, how's your day hun?XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Hi Bubbles, Not bad. I struggled to get dinner done I had to ask for help(I hate that) I couldnt press down on the button of electric knife, mash potatoes or get stuff out the oven. I nearly said s.d it & got to bed, well i did after dinner til 8pm as i was fed up with myself.
How are you feeling today?0 -

How are you feeling today?
Not too bad, in laws came, went out for lunch to local garden centre, which was nice, then came back and ate carrot cake, well pigging out. I blame the pregabalins. A bit pooped now, hands itching, but the blisters and dry skin is healing a little, which is good. Have a huge split on the ball of my foot, which is not pleasant, where all the blisters were last week.
About to put the kettle on, fancy a cuppa, with a blueberry muffin?XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Oh bubbles, blueberry muffins are really my fav so yes please
Be careful if that has split as it can get infected quick.(you know that soz)
I had to dress my foot when we got back from holiday as the cream was rubbing off on my socks delaying the healing. My hands are all peeling too, dont look nice :shock:0 -

Bubbles I have got the modern equivalent of the garage winch my bathlifter takes the strain   couldn't get in or out without it
SOrry to read that you can't get your bathroom sorted without such a delay and such an additional spend  seems everyone is pushed for cash these days and no matter if you can't manage with what you've got .... makes me :x :x :x :x :x :x on your behalf. If you come round here you're welcome to a bath
a cuppa would be good .... will wash my meds down .... off to take them now before the joints start misbehaving again

OMG ..... just caught sight of myself in bathroom mirror
I washed my hair earlier ..... wrapped it in a towel to dry off .... and just left it loose when I came out of the bath.
Now I look like Kate bush on a bad hair day
not getting the dryer out now .... or the straighteners .... so will look even more of a sight in the morning
mustn't fighten little children when I go out in the morning0
