Ive just took my last loads so dont know how long i will last.
Ive got to pop onto facebook for a bit as youngest is still having a hard time her dads left her on her own for weekend while he is in skeggy :x she's only 15 :x
I must go check on her, i have already spoke on the phone but want to make sure she's ok before i go to bed.

Muffins and T all round, sorry, had to feed one of the cats, he was moaning and trying to eat the Siamese :shock: :roll:
It is starting to get hurty, my foot, so I may well be off to the Docs this week, or ring the podiatrist.
The garage winch sounds ideal, the OT said I could have a bath lift, but I said that it was painful to sit upright with my legs outstretched, so we gave up on that idea.
It is a pain, but at least we have a shower room as well, I have my step, from the OT to help get me in, sideways, with a wing and a prayer. I should have said to the council lady, that's fine then love, I will just continue to be at risk of falling indefinitely, in fact, I will do next time I speak to her and make sure the DLA are aware of that when I next come up for review.
We don't have £800 lying around, far from it. But she said that because I get a very modest pension from the NHS, I cannot get the new shower paid for.

Not nice, sending hugs that all is well. I know young people seem to grow up quickly these days, but that is not the point, not easy for you to say the very least.

I had to dress my foot when we got back from holiday as the cream was rubbing off on my socks delaying the healing. My hands are all peeling too, dont look nice :shock:

It sounds very similar to pompholyx, several layers have come off my hands which made them SO sore, now it is coming off my foot, in one big lump, hence the split. I have a few fresh baby blisters starting again on my hands, so I hope it isn't starting all over again. :roll: :roll:

Im now sat with tissue up me nose, the scabs got so annoying i had to get rid :oops: (sorry) Now bleeding so ive got to put some vaseline up there & hope it stops.It also helps with the scabbing & eventually goes :shock:
Not very lady like but everytime i blow it it bleeds anyway.(TMI)

Daughters fine, I needed to check or it plays on me mind.
she didnt tell me he was going away & well we dont talk any more.Ex & me that is.
Daughter would have been coming to me this week but losing her friend she's had the memorial service to go to then funeral is next friday. It was the lads twin brother that survived & he is broken hearted So sad & too young to be taken away, but lifes cruel

Thats part of why i dont sleep well, I worry to much, pace the house then eventually clap out :roll: Ive had both me girls with me, Eldest fell out with me when she was 7 & me & him split so she went to live with him. Yougenst stayed with me til she was 10 then went to him, then eldest came back to me at 14 then went back again :roll: No wonder im pretty mucked up. Ive not had an easy life but i'd never turn me back on them.Even with all of this, i'd manage for them. As i do for OH & his son.

I would not know if I was no my head or my heels, sounds like you have had a long run of it and such things take their tole on you, we are all human and have a point at which we don't know which way to turn, so we often make ourselves ill over things. They say that stress does not cause health problems, but, I would argue till I was blue in the face, that is does, most definitely cause huge health problems, is totally exhausting, yet we cannot rest, when we do rest, it is not restorative, we wake feeling shattered.
I don't know what the answer is, I know that pills and potions that we take, do help, but then, we are dependent on them, (not that that is wrong in any way). As my Drs say, better to try and keep you calm as a long term measure.

Having said that, I have just downed the last of my pills, so I am a time limit now, were I am almost coherent. :roll: Half an hour and I will be marched off to bed and made comfy. Time for a last cup of T and a few, well, quite a lot of biscuits.

You take lots of care debs, sending you extra hugs and well wishes for a peaceful rest.

Afternoon All

I hope you are all ok.

Could not come in yesterday, I spent the day in bed. When I woke up my shoulders, wrists also shoulders were swollen and burning. In the afternoon I was being sick.

I got a letter today about my MIR Scan, It is on a Saturday. It does say Saturday so It cannot be a mistake. I have to fill in a form also sign to say I agree to them giving me a contrast dye.

I have to answer some questions as well.

I hope you all are okish and had a nice weekend.

I had a MRI scan for my kidneys...also they injected a dye...it was fine..the dye just feels warm.

A lot of scans are being done 'out of hours' now - when I was at A&E a month or so back i saw two come in for theirs

Yes I saw them all and they were lovely the kids loved them too - have taken photos and hoping tomorow to have time to downlaod them
