    Her own fault - she kept on scooping them out of the pool to 'save' them with her bare hands :roll:

    hi all been out and about a bit today well sneeked off to mac donalds for dinner lol was lovely change then nipped in supermarket for some bits and bobs been sat watching film all after noon :D:D:D:D

    Mmmmmm, love McDonalds, there is one not far from us that is very posh, like going into a proper restaurant since they did it all up. The Mars milk shakes are fab, could sip on them all day long and feel very queasy.

    Will have a large coffee and a sticky bun if we have some. Got a feeling I'm going down with a chest infection. My chest is tight and I'm coughing also have a sore throat.

    HI All

    not been well enough to do much this weekend, other than sleep, order hubby around :oops: :lol::lol: and sleep some more. Dad's gone home now and we are both shattered.

    hope you have all had a good weekend?

    Huge buckets of energy needed please, with a side order of a large lump hammer to attack arthur with :lol::lol::lol:

    Off to cook jacket spuds for tea .... easiest thing I can think of. Got some lovely ham to go with it and maybe a bit of salad too.

    littlelegs sends lots of hugs and says she is available for bramble/blackberry picking as long as you don't want any left for your pies :roll: :lol::lol:

    So he was good at pummelling was he??? Well you seem better than yesterday. We got our Val back now that is good did not like you being unwell.

    Will have a coffee and st sticky bun with a cherry on the top, got sore throat but the coffee will wash the bun down.

    Wonky, sorry you've had an off weekend, rest up now while you can.

    I've been out to an Antiques Fair this morning and picked up some bargain ceramic pots for the patio, so been outside sorting those out this afternoon. Did a load of tidying up and general pottering and now need a bath..........or no one will want to talk to me.

    They did their level best to get rid of me - in more ways than one! No one would have me even for 5p :cry:

    I am bathed now and have discovered that hubby has dandelion killer in the shed.......anybody want it?

    So have we - that's why he got it! also got bindweed, clover, plantains and that stuff with the blue flower (quite pretty really, but he won't let me keep it).

    I think I might have to get one of those big tortoises to sit on the grass!

    I see there has been painting going on, should I mop? a045.gif

    It is chilly here, I seem to recall the heating clicked on, last night, must have been chilly then too. The fleeces are just lovely and warm and the log fire will be roaring all too soon.

    I should be doing some a035.gif but, to be honest Scarlet, I don't give a damn. OH is wallowing in the bath c075.gif which I am quite jealous of, a soak in the bath would be wonderful. But, I cannot get in, let alone out. :shock:
