I can always drink another cup of T, no sugar thanks hun. Should I have some biscuits, I know I shouldn't really, not after cheesecake and creme fraiche.........but, one would be ok, I will break it, so the calories fall out.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
hi time I sorted out the night medicine trolley, it has been so long, it is in a right old mess.
A good scrub down and a re-stock, right, who's first?XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Cuddles seems happy that the log fire is all aglow.
Off to take Dad to the chiropodist tomorrow, they have refused to see him at home as they don't think he is disabled enough, so, Bubbles is going to have a word with them, after which, they WILL visit him at home, The poor man cannot walk more than 4 or 5 yards, is unable to sit in a wheelchair, is in constant pain and getting him in and out of a car nearly kills him.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

I know, we will take him, as he wants them to know just what fools they are making of themselves. If they get all uppity I will mention it to his cardiologist, who will wipe the floor with them, well, what's left of them after I am done, 8)
Let's make an 84 year old, crippled man, with heart failure, who is in chronic pain from arthritis, come to the clinic, to have his feet done.
Oooh, I cannot wait, I will take your spud gun thanks hunXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Noooooooooooooo, oh Julie I would have to get the OH to take the room apart or I would be stopping at the neighbours. Our cats are no good either, they chase them under the furniture instead of pouncing on them. I have a can of Kibosh at the side of my bed, in case of such emergencies, supposed to knock any bug or crawlie in an instant.
Coke and two paracetamols for you cat.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Why don't you buy one of those contraptions you place it on the floor and it is like a burgular alarm but insects and spiders run the other way they will not go in your room then

No problems, a pleasure, just been to spray round in the bedroom, with the kybosh, worth getting a can of it.
Me, not as far off on another planet as I have been, going through the motions but not feeling at all human. Anyway, I think I am getting used to the pregabalins a bit more now, it is those that sent me off kilter, but, they mask the bad pains a bit, so, you take a choice really.
Skin problems not too bad, after anti fungal, antibiotics, steroid cream. Now my hands look 90 years old.
Apart from that and the usual pains and such, I am better than I have been for the past few weeks.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Glad you are back Bubbles have missed you0

They do bite, the big ones, well, all spiders bite, but usually they cannot penetrate human skin, not the ones we get here. But, I have known of a few people with spider bites. No way on earth could I live in Australia or some tropical place, with monster ones, all hairy legged and fangs, I won't rest tonight now.........................An OT who worked in our hospital was from South Africa, Johanesburg, they had baboon spiders, as big as your hand, not poisonous, but when you went to catch them they jumped, can you imagine..........I would have had a whole litter of kittens on the spot.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Missed everyone too, felt really bad, some nights I would read the forum and just sit glazed, unable to write or do anything, it was horrid. I would do things in the day time, but with a fake smile. I don't know what was the matter to be honest, drugs, depression taking a dip, I know I wanted to throw all my pills away on more than one occasion and OH had to say, "have you taken your pills" to jolly me along.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I have a very sore throat had it all day been gargling in salt. I'm sure I'm in for a chest infection my chest is tight and got a cough and a headache.0

Right, GP visit, we don't want you hossy napped, I have some Tetracycline, (which I am on for 56 days).......don't ask, I know, a damned long time to be on antibiotics, anyway, we don't want you with another bad chest, is your temperature up?XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Some anti viral tissues for you. 5 times round and then 3rd on the right. I had best take a listen, to be sure.
Have taken all my meds now, starting to fade a bit. Just seen the time, 2.30am, where does it go? Have to be up and about ready to get to the folks and be prepared to do battle. They don't know me at that little local hospital, but they sure will do. To WHOM do I speak to who has an iota of authority and common sense.................
Will bid you all n night, hope you are ok with your spider hunt Julie. Trish, take lots of care, we don't want another chest infection.
Hugs and XX all round, XX BubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
