Been on the ferry across to Bruggies (not sure on spelling ) that is all.

Oh we did get the train and then drove to Euro Disney did only go around the edge of Paris.

We did go off route and passed through some lovely villages though got a wait for it, le baton

Would like to go back again

We had the van searched on the way back though - most likley for any illegal immigrants.

We went with son Dil and grandson we hired a big van type vehicle. I think it was about 100 to 200 miles we drove.

It was nice, we had to laugh at our grandson though he wanted to go to the toilet we stopped at a picnic area DIL goes to look at the toilets they were horrible so she got out his potty. There we were in the middle of nowhere and grandson gave us a running commentary.

First of all he missed the pot then he wanted to do numher 2's and he was saying I done one bit there is more to come. His daddy told him to hurry up and he said it's comming daddy.

I was busting he was three, I will never forget it he told us that the wee was drying up and was not near his shoes.

When we went through customs she asked where I was but we were not searched just looked at passports.

Afternoon all - Trish that trip with grandson sounds as if it was a right hoot!

I have been outside throwing gravel down the side of the pathway - very theraputic! Need another builders then must think about some tea.

Beautiful day here, hope it's like this for the rest of the week. Could do with some September sun.

Anybody else had probs with FB? Will try again later, don't know if its them or me, probably me.

Will sit in the corner so I do not spread it around. Was coughing all night. did not sleep at all again. Having a rest on bed so if I disapera yu know I have fallen asleep I'm so tired.

Did go onto FB this morning to look to see if my crops were ready. Waited til lunch time and then harvested them.

Still having trouble getting on another game FrontierVille to be neighbours with some peeps we know on here.

I will never forget that trip it was one of the best holidays I have been on.When children talk like that they are so innocent aren't they??

The other holiday I remember is when we made it to Florida we had a villa. My grandson was scared of my wheelchairs. Well we went to Busch Gardens and went on safari ride and my wheelchair got broke.
We had to hire a chair, my son said get an electric one we did and bought a new one as well.

Well this electric chair had one large footplate. One day grandson was a bit tired so he hopped on there. Everyday I had to use it to give him a ride around the parks. He loved it. It also was aturing point for him. He was no longer afraid.

When he came back from EuroDisney last week he spoke about that and going again and getting the chair again. How he rememberd it I will never know.

Just had a text from Jan she is having a great holiday. Her hips are playing up though and she is in pain.

She said she misses us and said hi. Jan is hoping to meet Cris tomorrow she is looking forward to doing that.

Oh dear, Jules, I wish I was there to remove it for you. We've got those plug in pest repellants and they do seem to work, hardly had any pests in at all this summer. As we moved from a maisonette with no garden to a ground floor flat with a garden we expected far more of a problem with them than we have had.

Well, tea sorted and all bathed and scented, so time for a builders and a chill-out.

Trish I hope you are not too bad with it, bother those chest infections I dread getting them.

sorry not been in much but feeling really grotty.

been to see GP so have more tablets to add into the mix, to protect my poor tum, and then we'll see if we can beat arthur into submission again

until that can be achieved I'll be on here less, so I'll leave a huge pile of wonky hugs for everyone, and I'll grab a bucket of energy, another of painkilling potion (extra strong) and a large piece of chocolate cake

Im sure nurse Bubbles will be round with her nightly meds.
Too many coughs,colds & infections around at the moment Not fair is it, we suffer from the pain etc of Arthur & his awful mates then get struck down with something else & struggle to shake it off.
Im sat here with vaseline stuffed up me nose trying to get rid of these sores. I had toothache earlier too & it feels like my front toothis loose :x I had pain right through into my eye. Topped up with painkillers trying to fighten it away.

I am here, just in time. Thought I would not make it. Hi Debs, Trish, Julie,WOnky, who did I miss.
Trish, those hugs are already 5 times round the roundabout and heading 3rd on the right.
Did the spider come out Julie, or is it still lurking, :shock: borrow my spider gun. I was all of a jitter last night, peeping here and there, with can of spray in hand.

kettle is on, if anyone needs a cuppa with their medicines.

Trish, sounds like you have a temperature, hope this is not another chest infection, it sounds like it could be, oh how to cheer someone up Bubbles, but you know what I mean, just concerned.
