It was bought for my birthday but the gave it to me now so I could use it. I have tried typing just any letters you just touch the screen and it types.
My family mostly hubby has seen me struggle so he decided to get me one to help me.
The instructions are inside it. You can do so much, read books, letter, games lots of things. You downlad a book just by touching the screen and Hey Presto you have a book to read.
It is a luxuary but my hands are getting so bad. I don't think I will be able to use them soon.
I'm ok about it, it is liife If I ever win the lottery you can all have one or something.

We will catch when we are both feeling better. I'm still not sleeping properly yet but hope it will settle soon.
Are you still falling off your perch??? Do you still potter?
Love Trish xxx
Hi Hun, I am hanging onto the perch, smiling at the world through gritted teeth and rose coloured glasses, everything looks so lovely 8)
I am not as bad as I was a week or so ago, but I am tiring very quickly. I am sure the drugs just knock me out some days. But, they mask the pain for some of the time.
Yes, still pottering, foolishly sometimes, when the pills mask the pain, I think I can do more than I should. Then, no matter what I take, I pay for it.
I think Mum is getting angina, so I have read the riot act and said that it is Drs on Monday, or see my Cardiologist, either or, preferably my cardio. She feels better today, after hydrating herself more and eating a bit better. Goodness, I will have to dig out an old uniform at this rate, to keep tabs on everyone.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Hi trish, I havent heard from julie. I hope she's ok too. I do know she's very tired so im hoping she is just resting.
Ive not been good today, neck is playing up something rotten & has made me feel sick & dizzy all day. I started to feel better after id eaten but still feel off.
Im also down as the house is getting in a mess,I dont like asking for help. Ive got washing to iron & put away. All ive managed to do all day is a curry for OH & stepson & hoover, thats it all day.
I hate feel like this but the housework is building up & i just cant do it.. I try to prioritise what needs to be done & tackle 1 big thing a day then potter around doing bits but lately i cant even do that.
Oh bugger it after sunday dinner im going to have a duvet day & s.d the housework.

You can only do what you can do. What about the family helping tell them how you feel. I do hope they help you.
You could do with one od those robot hoovers. You switch it on put it on the floor it starts to meansure the room. When it has done that off it goes without you.
It goes back and forth until it has done the whole room. Magic. They go under the ofa and armchairs. They used to sell them on Ideal World. They used to have a catologue. They might still sell them. .
Have your duvet day it might make you feel better.

Hi Julie
Been wondering where you were. I hope you feel better soon.
Why are we all feeling so bad?? Do you think it is something in the air???
Or the water.?
Glad you popped in Julie. Have you heard from Jan? Is she home yet?
Love Trish xxxx0 -
((((hugs)))) to you all. Going to go back to bed, Nite nite all.

night julie, hope you feel better soon. (((()))) debs
trish, I dont think them robot hoovers would cope in this house. Dog (messy eater),parrot(chucks her seed around), stepson & OH(drop food, drinks on floor & just dont clean up after themselves) . Of course i dont make any mess. Im just in a fed up of clearing up after everyone mood.It just seems like they make a mess more so in the kitchen, walk away & think oh its ok deb will clean it up. Well of course i do, kitchen & germs.I dont eat germs :x I did years of catering so my kitchen has to be spotless. then i say something & get told im moaning all the time   I cant win, see why im not asking for help.
Debs got the hump & my camels parked in the garage(if we were posh enough to have one)0 -
evening all .... ooooops  it's morning now
sorry to see so many are in need of hugs
have stocked us up on special soothing squishy wonky hugs for all who need them.
Kettle is on if anyone is in the mood for a cuppa?
WOnky0 -
A cuppa would be lovely, thanks WOnky. Thanks too for the squishy hugs.
I think there is something in the air Trish, I have come all over hot and bothered again, was fine half an hour ago. We all need a day at the seaside, some clear air with lots of ozone.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Here you go Bubbles ...... just as you like it
A day at the seaside ooooh yes please with doughnuts and ice-cream and fish and chips and waffles and ...... uum well maybe not all of them and maybe not all at once
I have been raiding your trolley this past week bubbles, and I think we might have found the right combo for just now as my stomach is back to enjoying food again ....... hope you can encourage your mum to take her meds - do you have to get stroppy with her?
right ... anyone else for a cuppa?0 -
i'll have to get OH to get the trailer out then cause were off to blackpool for the day on the 18th.
Im ordering the tickets now, so if you want to go on the pleasure beach i'll have to order now. Dont rush to quick as i have to order a chair or mobby scooter for the day. How do you get one of them on the rollercoaster
debs0 -
oooooh goody Blackpool ... not been there for years - it's the other side of the country (and the pennines) ... .will I need a passport :?:0
-
Yes WOnky, all of them, plus candy floss as well, all stuck to your face with the bracing sea air. Donuts and waffles, mmmmmmmmmmm.
Mother does listen, in the end, as a lot of people of a certain age say "oh, it's nothing, don't worry, I feel better now". Well, nurse Bubbles doesn't fall for that one and Mother knows that. I only have to set eyes on her to know exactly how she is feeling. Instinct I guess. I don't get stroppy, but, if you are getting tightness in your chest, on exertion, then that rings bells with me, not least because I had have two heart attacks and have lived with the same problems for 16 years.
I will soon be in contact with whoever she chooses to see, woe betide their Drs receptionist saying, "you can have an appointment a week on Friday if there is a Z in the month".
I will try and get her to see my cardiologist, pulling strings he would see her within the week. Best be sure as to what is going on.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Bubbles , Wonky Debs
Debs I see now I can imagine sorry cannot be more helpful.
I have one more AB to take and I feel bad, back ache, neck, legs, all over. My chest it tight again and I don't feel that good. it might be lack of sleep I don't know anymore. It is hurting when I breathe.
Hubby has turned the oxygen up a bit more to see if that helps. I have headache well flu like. Wonder if it the immune system down????

You will, for sure, I can get you a visa, for a day trip to Blackpool. Gosh, it is years since I went there, it is only about 40 minutes from us. Waiting for my chair to arrive, then we can go off to the coast and OH can push me along the Promenade, while I stuff fish and chips into my face, fending off the seagulls.
Are we going up the tower, to walk across the glass floor at the top.  :shock:XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Will have an Ovaltine find Night Owls and may go to bed.
