Only a little one but mine own.
Beep Beep. Coming through!!!0 -
OOOOOOOOOH! How exciting, do tell. What sort, what colour, how many seats, do you have a name for her yet? I have been considering a Micra thread, 'cos I have one and adore her. And I know someone else around here who has one too. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Well it's an i10 hyundai 1.2 comfort in dark grey matallic.
0 - 60 12.8 so not to bad. I'm going to be the annoying one in the car park where you think there's a space but just as you turn in to park theres a little car already parked.
She will be called "Jessicar".
Micra are good though.0 -

I get promised jobs will be done but it never happens.
OH is a real hard worker so I always feel guilty about nagging him to finish a job off when he's so tired.
Enjoy your Patio, will round for drinks and nibbles soon.Love

Been playing "going shopping, going to the library, playing football and having a picnic in the park" with little Lola. Dolly in buggy accompanied us too.
A nearly 2 year old's idea of hide and seek is real fun too. :?

Nearly two is the best age ever, closely followed by nearly three. Nearly four is pretty good, and so it runs until nearly 30. Then it starts to change. Not so good! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi DD
My two are 29 and 30 and all is well there. It was when they were in their mid teens things got rather fraught off and on and at times I felt frazzled

Tomorrow all being well. My old one was on its last legs, normally keep them for 8 to ten years. I'm excited about getting the new one but sad to part with my old friend. Daft eh.
Will be taking my mates out for a spin, hope I remember where all the new switches are. One of them is a terrible back seat driver so I take lots of large toffees to shut her up Needs must!!0 -

Got lots done in the garden yesterday afternoon, before the rain. Grass mowed, edges done, hedge trimmed and a couple of other shrubs too. Neck, shoulder, lower back aching a little this morning but 45 minutes stretching exercises will sort that out. Off to the gym now (the front room)

Two gluten free cherry cakes are baking in the oven and the smell is delicous. I weighed out all the ingredients yesterday evening, so was really organised this morning. Gotta go, do my exercises.

It's Dark Grey, I like it because the gears are easy on the hands. Also helps that I can reach the peddles  Suprising how many cars there are out there that shrimps like cannot get comfortable in.
Hope the patio is coming on. Supposed to be good weather this weekend. Fingers crossed.0 -
I'm surprised you've managed to climb out of her to post, ironic! I hope you have had a splendid couple of days together. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

1 the sun is finally shining here too.
2 I had a lovely lunch and chat with a friend today.
3 I've discovered a cushion on the scooter seat makes up for no suspension!!
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
I have had a fabulous day, the first for years. It's thanks to prednisalone, so I know it's fake and bad for me, but I really do not care. I feel awake, alive and have energy. The last time I felt this good was October 2001. It's been pleasant being me today, it's the me I remember but I know has gone. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Hi DD
A friend of mine takes preds and she has so much energy and is always ultra busy. It is a low dose and she has been on it for a long time. She does have to watch her weight as she says she could eat all the time, bless her. She has a job as well as loads of other interests and gallavating across London to look after her mum and travels to weekly Brighton to see her grandson. When she says to the doc about her weight, his reply is would you rather be a little overweight and healthy or the otherway around and she knows which side her bread is buttered. She does get the odd flare but it does not seem to deter her from still carrying on at full pelt.
I wish you well DD and hope you feel as good as you do today for a long, long time
