I am cheerful today because I have my computer up and running again after moving out of London last Tuesday.

I'm also cheerful because moving has already proved to be the best decision we have ever made and we are as happy as pigs in mud :D

Glad to see you back, Arna. That's two lots of us then, so happy that they've done it! It must now be 5 or 6 weeks for us, lost count, but still can't believe it's happened at last (at times).

Wonderful news Arna, hope you enjoy your new home.

Val took my mum out yesterday, the shops became empty by 2.30pm. Cannnot think why

I managed to get some summer shoes that are comfortable and in the sale. Bliss. Had home grown strawberrys for tea.

:D Dentist visit today, having a wisdom tooth removed. Only costing £95 for the pleasure unlike the huge bill for a crown the other week :D

    It is Friday :D:D:D

    It is sunny :D:D:D

I will be away now, on my bicycle, in the cool of the morning. I have got to see a man about a dog :D My dad used to always say that to me when I was little. :)

Hi Elna good luck at the dentist, my dad used to say that, we would sit at the gate waiting for him to come home with this dog, he never did.

:D Wisdom tooth has been removed, not without a short fight though, a monster!:lol: Got to keep the gap clean now. I mentioned I shall be sipping champagne tomorrow and his reply was, that will certainly keep it all germ free! So, got the go ahead from the dentist, would have been having the champers anyway! :D:D

    Hi DD,

Sorry for the tardy reply - I can't always keep up with all that is posted on the forum! I blame it on the drugs but in truth I think I am naturally a bit dizzy! :D
Yes, we have moved to a little village in Bucks that has fit the bill to a tee! It's leafy and fieldy and green and peaceful and full of all things good. Yes, I am being overly romantic but I am so pleased it is working out well so far as it was a big move from the depths of London.

Hope you have been on good form this weekend DD :)

I was brought up in Bucks, Beaconsfield, to be exact. It is a pretty county in parts, quaint villages and lots of leafiness. I'm glad you are enjoying it there. I now prefer living by the seaside - well, close to it!

Regarding cheerfulness, I'm off on holiday soon. A whole two weeks with the VVP. We haven't had two weeks together since November08 so it's going to be a treat. DD

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

That's interesting to hear as I am getting to know Beaconsfield very well because our village is within throwing distance of it :) I think living by the seaside would top it but only just!

Like others have asked - Where are you off to on holiday?? After so long two weeks will definately be a treat - Enjoy!
