Had a lovely restful day, potted some tubs up, laid in the sun for a bit, went to be weighed, lost another 3 lbs, now going to spend some time with my grown up girls, bliss0

I'm also cheerful because moving has already proved to be the best decision we have ever made and we are as happy as pigs in mud

Glad to see you back, Arna. That's two lots of us then, so happy that they've done it! It must now be 5 or 6 weeks for us, lost count, but still can't believe it's happened at last (at times).

Dentist visit today, having a wisdom tooth removed. Only costing £95 for the pleasure unlike the huge bill for a crown the other week
It is Friday
It is sunny
I will be away now, on my bicycle, in the cool of the morning. I have got to see a man about a dog My dad used to always say that to me when I was little.

Wisdom tooth has been removed, not without a short fight though, a monster! Got to keep the gap clean now. I mentioned I shall be sipping champagne tomorrow and his reply was, that will certainly keep it all germ free! So, got the go ahead from the dentist, would have been having the champers anyway!

Late afternoon going to our annual allotment BBQ which is always great fun and the weather is going to be just right. Plot 26 has been ours for 25 years. I shall take a bottle of champers of course . What a glorious weekend in every way, except the footie, I am not a fan, but even so, big disappointment for us.

Hi DD,
Sorry for the tardy reply - I can't always keep up with all that is posted on the forum! I blame it on the drugs but in truth I think I am naturally a bit dizzy!
Yes, we have moved to a little village in Bucks that has fit the bill to a tee! It's leafy and fieldy and green and peaceful and full of all things good. Yes, I am being overly romantic but I am so pleased it is working out well so far as it was a big move from the depths of London.
Hope you have been on good form this weekend DD

I was brought up in Bucks, Beaconsfield, to be exact. It is a pretty county in parts, quaint villages and lots of leafiness. I'm glad you are enjoying it there. I now prefer living by the seaside - well, close to it!
Regarding cheerfulness, I'm off on holiday soon. A whole two weeks with the VVP. We haven't had two weeks together since November08 so it's going to be a treat. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi DD
!. What does VVP stand for??
2. Where are you going for you holidays?

Yes! Where?!
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -

That's interesting to hear as I am getting to know Beaconsfield very well because our village is within throwing distance of it I think living by the seaside would top it but only just!
Like others have asked - Where are you off to on holiday?? After so long two weeks will definately be a treat - Enjoy!
