Dear Kath
I am ok thank you, I am going for my pre op assessment regarding my op on three toes, today.
I hope you are sharing the sun with me. Forecast says it could be the warmest day this year.
When are you seeing your lovely grandchildren next? Lola is growing up fast and she is into role play with a vengeance!! Yesterday it was Snow White, over and over again!
I hope you are ok,
Love

Dear Barbara
We are easily pleased aren't we? I am going for my pre op assessment for my toe op today. It is lovely and sunny and I am going to travel the bus - how exciting is that?
I wish you well with your scan for your back, Barbara. It would be lovely if you could be rid of the sciatica pain. I know all about that, it really drags you down. Injections sorted me out and so far so good since 9 December 2009.
Love

Hi Elna
Hope the pre-assesment goes well or if you have already been there
hope it went well.
How long do you think it will be before you have the op?
I 'see' my lovely grandchildren every week, but not in the flesh
of course, we have a webcam so we chat with them all and its lovely
to see how the baby is getting on, first with crawling and now standing up by the furniture and almost ready to let go, he is only 9 months old Think I might get a couple of weeks over there in May, if I can manage with this very stiff and painful so called body of mine.
Glad to hear Lola is keeping you up to date with all the play acting, she sounds adoreable, well, I know she is as I have seen lots of pics, send some more when you have some wont you.

What a glorious day and to make even more perfect whilst I was at the hospital for my pre op assessment I saw, or rather he saw me first, the drop dead gorgeous doc 8) who made my sciatica go awol with injections in December 2009.

What a great weekend Yesterday treated my "bestest" friend who was 60 a week or so ago, to glasses of champagne and a light lunch in Browns, sitting outside, overlooking the river. A tour around Windsor Castle and finishing with afternoon tea at the Castle Hotel.
Today madly catching up with chores and getting the garden straight as I shall be a little hindered from Thursday as having an op on three of my toes. Actually I am looking forward to a rest

even though the weather could have been better and I wasn't up to walking any distance at all even with the crutches, I've had a great few days in Skeggy with Janet, our neighbours, and of course we've spent time with my folks, brilliant, went way too fast...
Elna, best of luck with the op luv..

Today was a great day - we took some great friends of ours out for lunch and then on the way home we went through the beautiful bluebell woods near our house.
Hubby and I were walking in front and I noticed our friends drop back, hubby said keep walking which we did until we rounded a corner and he told me what was going on - moments later our friends come around the corner and told us he had just proposed and they were engaged! Hubby and friend had chatted earlier in the day and set up the walk etc.
To top it of my friend has asked me to be matron of honour
Hubby and I laughed later at the difference between their 'moment' and ours. Hubby asked me to marry him on a crowded Friday night at his grotty local pub, leaning against the pin ball machine at the entrance to the mens loos. Who says romance is dead!

Oh gickygawky that made me laugh! I have no idea how or when Mr DD proposed, I just cannot remember.
I am glad you have had a lovely day. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
