    Are you sure that's good? No excuse now for not doing the housework! Seriously, I'm pleased about that, vacuum cleaners can be quite expensive to replace. DD

    :D Went to order the hall, stair and landing carpet today. :D Coming to measure up in a weeks time :D The decorating has taken three months, not too bad :lol::lol: too nice weather much of the time, to be inside painting. 8)

    I went to a committee meeting for my charity fundraising group, and we planned a big event for October. All the money we raise this year is going to Arthritis Care.

    Just returned from a fabulous day celebrating my friends Ruby Wedding Anniversary to hear a message on the ansafone from our grand daughter. :D:D

    Aw, thank you Cham, I do hope your day goes ok and you are not in too much pain. Lola had her birthday party yesterday morning with 17 little friends, but we were unable to attend because of the Ruby wedding celebrations event but I see her today and actually on her 2nd birthday, which is Wednesday. :D Lola never ceases to lift my spirits too.

    A year has flown by and what she has learnt and how she has changed is amazing. Last year she was a baby, now she is a little person with a personality. :D

    I do hope that you are feeling better in all ways now.
    Here's hoping this week will be easier for you in all ways and you will have extra help, if I remember correctly. :)

    Charlotte is coming to stay. She does have Chronic Fatigue syndrome so dont like to push her but she is lovely with the children. Shes also much tougher than me!
    OH niece was 2 in July It was her parents who got married. In the middle of the ceremony she started talking about Peppa Pig.So I know how lovely they are at this age and how quickly they change.

    :D Lola's 2nd birthday today. :D Phoned her this morning and she said, "see you later, alligator". :lol: Will be over there this afternoon. :D She is going to get a Peppa Pig little rucksack as one present from an auntie as she will be starting playschool one morning a week next month.

    Highlight of the day is that it is OH's saturday off and I could stay in bed till 8 am (get headache if I am in longer)

    :D It is pouring down with rain, cannot be in the garden so the brass bits and bobs around the house will all soon be gleaming :D I never let them get too bad but do not polish as often as I used to :D:D Two coffee pots and a plant pot to go :D

    I have just loaded a CD onto my MP3 player which is total dance/trance bliss. I am a very happy DD, though I will not be able to share the marital bed tonight - I care not! He'll survive for one night sans moi - I NEED THE NOISE! DD

    Th sun is shining in Leeds n I've spent much of the afternoon laying in the sun and chatting with my sister and my daughter, how very civilised, good times. Off for a pamper tomorrow, spending the day at Titanic Spa, Huddersfield, my sis and I got this given for mothers day from our respective children, who all clubbed together, we are lucky mummies to be sure. :lol::lol::lol:
