Hello Speedalong! It's Friday the fourteenth and I sit here tapping away at my keyboard, merrily munching a packet of peanut M&Ms. Diet? What diet? Life's too short and I needed some breakfast so I can do my pills. Hope you are feeling OK, resting in a miasma of baby talc. Take care. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. It's now 4.15pm and I have finished the bad of M&Ms. I have another bag in the kitchen. As Frasier used to say "Oh, dear God . . . . Must be strong. Must be strong. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi speedalong
hope all has gone well with your op and that you are making a good recovery.
I can imagine they'll have had to tie you to the bed to stop you continuing your pre-op 'super-cleaning mode' ; washing floors and dusting the ward.
Rest up and do all the exercises they give you.
Isn't it great the op is now behind you?
much love and gentle (((hugs))) for you and S.

No, Speedy, I firmly believe that a lot of what you fancy does you good! I am so please you are up and about! What a wondrous thing modern medicine is - for all we gripe and moan think how bad it would have been 100 years ago. Continue the good recovery please, you need to get home as soon as possible so that you can begin to feel truly better - hospitals are not the best places for a rapid recovery!
