Hi All,

Just heard from Kim, she is still in the NHS Hotel and bless her I sent some hugs and she need more! Her cast comes off on the 4th (Not long Kim) and fingers crossed she gets out soon after that.

She asked me to let you all know but I also think she could do with a ton of support... I know being in hospital so long is so demoralising cus did just under a month when they did my back. So can we send her a huge collective hug please?

Hope your all okish and some spare hugs to you all. Cris xx

Kim just to say I am thinking of you and got everything crossed you will soon be home where you belong. (((((((((( )))))))))) and love Cris xxx

Oh jaspercat, what a rough ride you have been having. The fourth is not far away (to us, anyway) but to you it must seem like an eternity! Am I right in remembering it's both ankles in plaster? I guess hospital is really the only place to be until some form of weight-bearing can be undertaken. Just hang-on in there: it's nearly over for the hospital bit, your own bed is beckoning! DD

PS I forgot! Thanks skezier, for being the pigeon again. We keep you busy, don't we?!

Thank you Cris, for letting us know about Kim.

    Dear Kim,

I hope all goes well on the 4th and you are very soon back home and in your own bed. There is no place like home. I hope Malcolm is keeping ok and looking after you well too.

Love and lots of gentle hugs
    Elna x

Its been such a long haul for her hasn't it? I miss her and know that she is missing all of us as well as jasper. She said there is a PAT dog who comes in and that will help break up the day he comes in but hours are long in hospital aren't they?

Malcolm is fine but he wan her home and she wants to be home and well I wish there was a magic short cut eh?

You ok today i hope? ((( ))) and love Cris xx

Hi Everyone, thanks Cris for passing my news on to my friends.

The 4th seems long way away right now, I have one leg in plaster and one in an airboot, very hoping that the plaster comes off ok, I don't want to think over wise it would break my heart, there is alot to do after first using a zimmer frame and, eventually crutches, I think that I will be here a while yet.

I will post on monday on to update you all, thanks for all the messages and hugs, I will look out for little legs love jaspercatxx

Of course you have to get mobile first.

We are here and will do our best to perk you up though.

Hi Jaspercat - well it is the 4th tomorrow!! Hope all goes well and the consultant is pleased with the result when the cast comes off. You must be going stir crazy in to be still in hospital. Once the physios have acquainted you with your zimmer - you will have a bit more control over things (going to the toilet when you want ...) springs to mind! Practising your walking will be tough, but something to work on and boy do you have incentive!!
