    Hi Cris

yes write it all down then maybe it will be quicker for him to respond to the issues - it has to be and anyway forewarned is forearmed isn't it?

As for visualisation - I get it and do something similar - I can PUT pain away from me - maybe not for long, but certainly for periods of time.

I might need a 'skezmasterclass' in this technique as I (and a few more of us on her - mentioning no names  )am a huge worrier :D

You take care lots of hugs

    Hi Sally,

Oh flower done the city... 7 years worth and it was horrible! I just didn't fit in at all :lol: The accents also meant I couldn't understand them not they I :lol:

You never know.... one day you might look out over fields? We are so lucky here, Cornwall is so narrow and surrounded by sea on 3 sides so even at its widest point your only abut 30 miles from the beaches.

Hope the new tablets are going ok? ((( ))) Cris xx

    Hi Elizabeth,

When you get the new car (what you getting?) it will all fall back into place flower. You would be most welcome and jobs to do list don't half get long

You have to dress down (Debs will confirm that one) but we are all fairly friendly though at the mo I can't get comfortable so not sleeping s good and can do a good impression of the two headed monster :lol::lol: ((( ))) xx

    Hi Speedy,

They have told me on numerous occasions flower but it is my choice and they now seem to except it reasonably well. The Rumo is my best backer actually cus he thinks the fact I have reasonable muscle tone is why I am still able...... he hasn't seen me crawl to the chicken house :lol:

She actually is a good doc and understands pain. We kinda joke a bit now but it took a while  ((( ))) xx

    Hi iris,

Tell you that wave was an over the ankle job :lol::lol::lol: Never saw it coming either :lol::lol:

They said thanks for their biccies and have you got any more.....

Iris I have worked out that the neck and the drip and the mtx are the ones I need to talk to him about. The mtx doesn't seem to be doing much but it is holding the crohn's and well flower he has already said I wont get funding for the antis but the Gastro said if the mtx doesn't work he and the rumo need to get there heads together and I might qualify that way...... Flower just at the minuet I want them to just stop the pain :lol:

You still got the lump hammer? Could you use it please  ((((( ))))) and a cuppa with side dish of greens (you haven't had those for a while) and a bone draft with a very big hope! xxx

Thanks Sue and a ton of ((( )))'s coming right back at you. xx

    Hi Toni,

Next time your down we will have to go sit in the corner of a field and find your best anti worry way..... Promise....

If raining we can do it in doors :lol:

You do the visualization very well so its there we just need to find your way of utilising it. ((((( ))))) and you want a cuppa as well? xx

Hey these bones are really grinding and banging as well as being reed hot and a fair bit of swelling.... but the muscle is more relaxed and the skin is so much smoother... hell do I want some in the face!

    You all take care.

    Morning Cris

Just dropping in with some ((((()))))s for you and to say "hello". I too think the letter to the rheumy before your appt is a good idea because that way she will know EVERYTHING that has been happening, and it will make best use of your appt.

Re the visualisation - you obviously do that really well Cris and it obviously helps. Toni sounds as if she has the knack too...

Thinking of you and hoping that you have lovely weather down there today.

    Lots love Tilly xxx

Hi Cris, it sounds absolutely lovely where you are. I would give anything to live by the sea. As you say, maybe one day. Tabs are fine thanks but will take a few weeks to kick in. My knee is very bad and steroids not bringing it down. Will ring the nurse on Mon if not improving.

Read that you not qualifying for anti tnfs? Why is that? Are they particularly mean in Cornwall or is there another reason. I hope they can get their heads together to get you what you need.

    Hi Cris

    Hope you are reasonably OK..

I've not been on the forum much over the last week as having trouble with my hands and have got to 'conserve' them so that I can use my pc at work!

I find visualisation helpful too.. I know lots of sports people use it ..

Morning skezier, I have returned from the wilds of the north and installed my mother for a couple of weeks, so I won't be around that much. I am just popping in to find out how things are going, I hope that things are improving in some small way (or even a slightly larger way!) and that all is well with the sheep, horses, ducks, chickens, cats and dogs. As for the terms: well, you stick to your guns and do what is best for you. You know how you want to live, you know what suits, and as I said before, we will support you all the way. I am not sure, however, whether a rheumatologist can answer any question with a straight yes, or no - I wish you luck with that one! DD

    Hi Cris,

I'm glad the botox has helped a bit, hope the pain becomes more controlled again. The rheumy all though accepting of your lifestyle - wont really have a clue what it is like ... besides crawling to do the chickens, carrying those heavy buckets to the horses and wrestling with the sheep to shear them ... probably just as well!!

S is now on half term for two weeks, it is bright sunny and (but cold) today so we are off to a local waterpark for a walk, play at the playground and then lunch at the cafe. It is a lovely setting - woods, lakes etc

I am returning to work phased return beginning of Nov. I have dreamt up some lessons for the little people in my class - who have to say are very cute and have real potential to learn. Now just need head to magic up a chair I can sit on and a table I can plan my lessons at etc

    Take care,

    Speedy

PS wouldn't mind one of your sheep's fleeces to keep me warm, now that the weather is turning colder - an all over body suit ....!!!
I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

How is everything going? When is it you see the rheumatologist?

DD good to see you - your absence has been noted!!! Don't do it Agna

Speedy - you are ready to go back if you are doing lesson plans already :D

Hi Tilly, Sally, Louise,Marion, Speedy, Toni, DD and Julie,

    Sorry been AWOL again.

Its kinda iffy gong on a bit less iffy neck wise. Certainly unlocked the shoulder but the bones seem to miss the vice it had on them and haven't been their best  Maybe they are just settling without the pull on em?

Some of the neck base swelling is less as well so worth having. Next time is in January and with a bit of luck they will be able to stick a bit of steroid in again as well.

I see the rumo tomorrow will ask him about the drip and stuff and then see whats left cus the wrists are kicking off and they have moved up the list big time. I got pulled about a bit earlier and they didn't like it at all.... understatement that!

    Hi Tilly,

Leaving you a (((( )))) as well and a hope the deer is behaving a lot better than a sheep! Back on her injections the days out have given her a new way of stopping me! Or so she thinks! xx

    Hi Sally,

I hope the knees are getting there now? Can take a bit of time sometimes to be of any effect.

is nice here really just bleak and open and getting a bit too cold :lol: xx

    Hi Louise,

No bellows today flower its got its own set up and running eh?! That's some cold wind as well..... must get some fast growing hedges

He is nice and good to talk to and I really do have to if only about the drip cus well I really don't want to g through it again and need to know what happens for sure if I don't. Kinda know but he might have some alternatives. Never has had before.

You all ready to see him as well?Don't forget ask to see him when you check in. xx

    Hi Marion

Sorry about your hands I hope they are soon okish again. Leaving you a ((())) and a hope xx

    Hi Speedy,

One smelly fleece from this summer... they aid you can't have a fresh one cus they needs them  Its gone very cold hasn't it?

Hey well done for the phased return, hope they come up with a chair soon for you.

You and S enjoy half term flower. xx

    Hi DD,

I hope you enjoyed your self and welcome back.xx

    Hi Toni,

You need wellies and I see him tomorrow. xx

    Hi Julie,

Sheep wrestling is as bad as stag without the antlers so please join up for the shearing.... they need dagging now if it helps with the practice :lol:

Should have taken Tilly's deer to lure in the stag

Hope you enjoyed it though? The weather wasn't too bad last week in parts, hoe that's a bit you were in through. xx

Morning skezier, a mixed bag of results, eh? Shoulders and neck easing, wrists worsening. Ho hum. Well, you have the rheumatologist today, so make sure you tell him everything: I doubt he has more trickes to pull out the bag but he might be able to tweak one or two things - you never know - or maybe you do: you been playing these games a while now, haven't you? I will be thinking of you - would be on duty but have the hospital myself today, and other stuff: I wish you well, take care and please let us know how it goes. Messrs A and B send their regards - they are thinking of establishing the SPL - Skezier Protection League, the first of its type! DD

    Hi Cris,

Hope you get some good answers today. Your poor wrists have been a problem for such a long time now. Make sure you have your letter with you. Well as for the drip, you never know something new may be now available so fingers crossed for you.

This colder weather is not helping I was sort of hoping that we would have had a last warmish spell but looks like I may be disappointed there. :(

Loads of hugs coming your way.

Lots of love and good luck for the appointment today, Cris.

I have been thinking about you a lot over the weekend.....it's been cold enough here, it must be perishing where you are!

You could ask for a spare fleece? Between them all you'd think they could rustle up a spare one!

Now, if I could find out how to keep my nose warm...it's constantly icy and dripping, think I am turning into the cat!
