Thanks for popping in here, I only peeked in briefly yesterday and have only just seen you all. I did set my alarm Thursday to aim at visting CAB but......... well I kinda switched it off and didn't move all day! :oops: That's what 3 days at the factory does I afraid. However I have started to tackle the DLA forms myself, though I hate these closed questions and will be adding quite a lengthy letter with the form so we will see.
Not done much today either but am not beating myself up over it. Been too cold and wet so duvet day it was. Yes Ironic the new people start at Wonkas on Monday and they will get a big welcome from me, can't speak for our baltic cousins who won't like it but that is their problem.
All is ok here so don't worry folks, the hugs have done their magic and have recharged the batteries ready for another week at work. Hope you all coping there though am a bit worried about your dancing trees Cris! :shock:

Actually if I could I would just get away for a week..... I think most of it would be going all over the uk I could so easily juts have a few days where the strings weren't attached and working me :roll: I think Velcro has learned to read cus she juts nibbled me

Hi Chris

You sound pretty good at any rate and satring the forms is a good idea even if only in pencil. They are too closed i agree some of those questions. Keep chipping away at it - you got a time limit? If you exceed it ythe only diference is they wont backdate any award to the date you got the form.

I hope you get on really well with the new workers and the atmosphere soon settles down. Upheaval alawys does that

I have a wedding to go to today, but luckily the sun is shining Hope it will be lovely and Hileena has remindeed me the clocks go back so i will get an extra hour to recover?

This is sounding good chris7, the forms are not that bad once you get started, it's like me and my tax return: I delay and delay and delay then find it a doddle. You think I would have learned by now after nearly 16 years of self-employment - no, I haven't!

I hope you get some rest today to set you up for tomorrow: take care, thinking of you, I won't be about much as we are celebrating a 90th birthday today: my MIL is 90, I feel it. She moves better than me, has more energy than me and also has a bigger moustache than me. I don't mind the last one, I am deeply envious of the other facts tho. Take care. DD

please try and do those forms - they could help you in the end especially if you get CAB to help you - thats what they are there for - they were brilliant to me and helped me when i had to appeal.

Thanks Rose yes I am feeling much more postive now thanks and yes it does make getting through the day a little easier.

Cris yes a deal is deal so I won't let you down. But well... we think alike on some things so I am not hopeful but I will get the forms done hopefully and in the post soon. I see you were posting at dawn so I hope you have caught up on some armchairing today flower. Good luck and buckets of energy for you tomorrow. I have just done my clocks don't want to get to work an hour early. :shock:

As far as i know no-one got food poisoning from my help with the buffet

Saw loads of friends and really caught up with them all.

You and Chris WILL get them done and then we have to pout it in the hands of fate. I think for both of you there is an element of fear about the process, but you are both getting there.
