Bosh that poem is ookily topical, my biccies may not have been mouldy today but my intended lunch was a little bit green and furry where it shouldn't have been 😱😱 so it was the blessed baked beans instead 😄. Yes quite right you don't get that with R Brek, the day that is green or blue or even purple & black for that matter it would definitely be time to worry. Though cereal manufacturers are not above bringing out weird variations of stuff but I trust 'tweetybix' to be not quite that daft 🤞. Hope your day has been ok as poss, will be off early again myself as there should be no reason to get up tomorrow, no milkmen nor postmen nor passing S Trek personnel. I watched someone make their own tardis on 'me too tube', in speeded up time, tiring just to watch 😭 I think that may not be on this year's project list. Have a good Sunday 👋 hope everyone well xx

I love the idea of 80 challenges you must try to find some easy ones to do surely🧐. My own sister does this sort of thing every year something or other. Like 100 paintings (she's an artist) or collecting 20p pieces for 2020 9which covid scuppered🙄 Great fun though I'll have to have a think for you….

Indoor bowls (nice and warm) well that is a thought. I volunteer at our local foodbank as you know and my fellow volunteer plays bowls. He loves it and is rather competitive. How wonderful that you can play with minimal help and are actually not at all bad at it! Go you😊

Apart from a little sleet we had rain all day yesterday how about you?(no washing out at all!!!) Must have been similar and guess what? Kari and me went for a walk over the Chase anyway. Had a lovely coffee as a reward though afterwards at hers. Mabel told me Sleek has been giving the younger cats English lessons. Did you know? Kari sussed it when Mabel came out with a big word 'trepidacious' with regards to venturing into the garden. Kari is amazing I do admire her too and wonder whether I could have done anything so huge.

I agree I mean nosegay is the original or OG as Lucy would say. It should keep some of it's originality just not treat sellers badly and then it will keep them and it's place in people's lives and shopping experiences. Pink bunny you see was far smaller than Elfie more easy to fit into a hospital bag. Unfortunately there wasn't any room for parents just a pull out bed at night and a tiny locker to share. For 10 months solid the first time. Subsequent visits were shorter and easier to manage luckily. Elfie kept the home fires burning with Sleek. Sleek actually was the first to know lucy was actually ill not just a cold! She never left her kept sleeping on her bed.

Let's hope it dries up enough to get outside of our immaculate 🤥houses today into our gardens eh?!

feels like winter is going on forever this year. Managed to get one of the bikes over to my local garage for an MOT yesterday but that then meant i had to clean it. Passed okay.
polychondritis has been absolute hell lately. I think the methowhatsit is finally starting to work now.

Might just get away with a new bearing in the gearbox. I had an old Capri that needed a new output shaft bearing, but sounded terrible, new bearing fixed it.

I just thought of the poem really because there is a lot of cheesy rubbish going on in the media Facebook and so on about Valentine’s Day there?

There are also of course those terrible hallm**k films which are worth watching if you want a break from the sleazy stuff that’s around all the time, but that are in the end rather vacuous so I just thought maybe a funny kind of slant on it would be good- thanks

Thanks for your support about the diet situation. Yes I know what you mean doing something is definitely much better than doing nothing and Bill is doing himself no favours whatsoever.

I had a good time when everyone was out of the house. Well when I say good time, I really just caught up on sleep, but I needed that so badly that it felt like I’d had a mima- party without salt restrictions of any kind haha, I did get a takeaway actually, but that was before the solitude, which was nice and a little bit evil but really not too bad as I’ve been good all week food - wise, blood pressure does seem to be going down according to my home readings, so that’s good at least, also I think you’re absolutely right if someone is going through stress it must have an effect on it.

I found a new technique of dealing with the cold when resting in the arctic room

even though I sometimes have a tendency to feel a bit warm (hot flashes? I’ve got no idea) but anyway the main point is I forced myself to use a fleece blanket when I slept there, as well as the quilt and I was very cosy. I didn’t have a long sleep, but it was deep and so necessary. My dad wasn’t shouting from downstairs, waking me up, which is one of the most annoying things he does - that evil BB

Toni up until fairly recently he was still keeping doors open when he went outside for a few minutes in the garden and it was so cold I was wearing my winter coat and I was so worried that mum would catch a cold, but I think he’s more or less stopped doing that now - thank Mother Nature

I do have a bit of a sore throat. I think that was from yesterday when I was so tired that I fell asleep in the cold room with no blanket etc and my neck is slightly sore but I’ve got a warm scarf on it and hopefully that won’t last too long, the neck pain, but I think I’ll have a bit of a rest in a few minutes

Hi all, sorry to be awol and turn up at this unseemly hour (not so much unhitching as nervous twitching at this rate 😬), I have had nosegay troubles including, 'but not limited to' as the legal persons say, the fact that it looks like I may have had a parcel pinched from my porch 😒. This is not good news for obvious reasons, but not least because it will put a pretty big spoke in my nosegay system if I either have to catch postie in person always or take to PO. Gah 🙄

BIL isn't thinking at all Reshmi. You are aware of what is good for us and you do a really good job. We all have a treat and deserve one every now and then. In fact denying ourselves is more likely to result in binging. You usually go for dark choc anyway which has some health benefits too.

Yes!!! I am so glad you had some peace and quiet to yourself yesterday and a nice takeaway. Your BP is definitely affected by stress. Also some of us (me included) get higher BP measurements at the Drs due to a little white coat syndrome. Your measurements will prove yours sin't anything to worry about hopefully 🤞

That sleep was necessary and will also help with your overall health. You've sussed the cold room I think it may become your new favourite room for resting. Preferably with no BB to shout though😡 Glad to hear the door opening has stopped. I would worry about you all getting chills too when it's so hot inside normally🙄

Sucré and Loanda fine thanks Toni. Anda busy studying, last year of her degree.
Sucré at nursery almost full time. He asked to go more and will be going to skool there in September and they handle the transition so all good there.
I am spending more time in the bunker doing music than I have in ages. Things are somewhat more under control now after the diagnosis and it was what was/is causing the migraines. I have a list of foods to avoid as well that cause inflammation. I certainly know if I eat the wrong thing.

I am on a steady dose of MTX. Can’t remember who asked and I can’t find it now despite looking twice.

Hi all 👋 I did get some sleep in the end but not necessarily in one lump so still half awake today 😬

Still looking into the parcel business frog there seems to be a bit of a question mark over what postie's memory of things is, but you can't expect them to remember every parcel or if they turned up and one wasn't there, it's not like Postman Pat 😔. It was outgoing so won't be with neighbours &c. I don't want to see postie every time wailed toad as you rightly say 😕maybe will also consider a safer safe place, with directions and cryptic clues and maps in the directions box 😄. Yes probably a camera doorbell would help in all sorts of instances but I'm jibbing at the thought of what's involved and an extra 'unnecessary' job. Hope your day was ok it was dull as pitch but dry, still very irritating amount of wind though. My 'immaculate' house has slipped ever so slightly this week as you can imagine 😂 I have al fresco too tomorrow, finally would you believe, have all the right things in stock though will believe it when I see it. Hope they have Sleek's things 🤞 her list is party sized 'sausage' rolls, individual cake slices and more jam, is she planning to host a small event in her ickle house I wonder? 🤔 still no clue as to what she is saving up for, but I do catch her with a rather cryptic smile on her furry face now & again 🤨.
