Aha the cold room is becoming your new favourite room for a daytime nap. That is good especially if the mattress is a lot better now. I struggle with a change in mattress myself like when we go on holiday. the one in the motorhome is really good even though I struggle on the first night even with that.

Oh dear not good solving the mystery of the missing parcel. Unfortunately parcel theft is on the rise here now not just in America as you no doubt know. Kari and me both have doorbell cameras for our front doors. She caught someone looking in her car window. Both of ours are battery powered. I have a spare in the house to put in when the other needs charging. In the meantime here is a map for you to share with postie all he needs is a shovel and compass.

Food is coming! Yippee! Wonder what Sleek is planning🤔 she was baking scones yesterday and vol au vents too. Elfie seems to know about it though he was sorting through his wardrobe for a tie and jacket yesterday…..

She won't tell me what is she is hoping to buy either but was explaining to me the ins and outs of weighing everything for packing up to send off for nosegay. She's not happy about the weather at all thinks it's time for some sunshine. She's right though the wind has dropped we had drizzle again yesterday all day. Yuk!

Don't worry too much about Penelope she will get fixed bless her shame SK doesn't live nearer though. I have sourced potentially a new gearbox if needed. I can drive her just gently and not too far until she's better.

Milder weather here this morning than yesterday, I even managed to find a seat at cost a packet and consumed tea and biccies, not as good as toady’s biccies but life can’t be perfect after all 😂

According to BR I sometimes roar like a lion (or lioness) when I forget how to say his name, I’m not sure that this is completely factual, but how sweet lol

I did actually find a lawyer who specialised in the divorce is of under fives, but unfortunately this lawyer charged an extortionate fee of five boxes of blearios, but I’m afraid, even with the best economising in the world and a lot of nosegay sales, I could only raise funds for four boxes, oh the shame of it and I call myself a competent Mima.

Which Reminds me if I see nasty M the witch as I sometimes called her ha ha in group tomorrow. Maybe I can sell her soul and raise some more funds, not sure how much I get for it though that’s the problem.

Hi all 👋 just an IOU, I have had my groceries - and the tree people, frog (unannounced). At the same time. Yes, exactly the same time 😱🙄🤐🤪😣. I have a kitchen full of half unpacked groceries, partly disassembled garden bench, bags of compost and lord knows what, having had to tidy the hall and utility and gangway 'just in case'. Why is my life a shambles 😂 full story tomorrow.

Night to Joan 😘 I do think you forget the cold yes I know I do when it's even slightly warmer, but I don't think some winters have been quite as horrid as this 😔. Bit of sun from the end of the week on if we're lucky, temps not up much though but better than nothing. Love to the dogs 🐾 xx

Fear not there are rich tea biccies in the cupboard now and R Brek in the larder so all's right with the world 👍️. I had an empty parcel once it was something very special too. Aidan who used to come here he had got a signed photo for Lucy when she had cancer. It was by David Emanuel she used to adore him on say yes to the dress. Luckily Aidan got her another one and RM tried to give us a voucher which we didn't bother to take up.

How is your Mum doing? I hope the MTX is enabling you to get out more now? I bet you're glad you saw that Dr no NHS Dr would ever have helped get to the bottom of your health issues I'm sure of it.

Well i never that was a shock! You did say you wanted a cancellation i suppose! Actually in some respects it's not a bad thing. The tree man can see you were busy doing jobs and your online order makes that even more obvious. I hope the job is maybe finished today?

Sleek was shrieking like mad about it when she got home on and on she went, but she has been supervising outside and, so far, is impressed with the works done. Luckily her planned tea party for the cats isn't until Thursday so she can keep on supervising in the garden.

Hi frogmorton I just survived school dog and dentist going all the way up to top floor of the dentist nearly killed me my knee is painful I'm going to rest till school run now. I hope you are well and your day is good for you yeah my kids have there ups and downs sometimes they love each other then other times they fight. Yeah my cat is like my first child along with the dog that passed away and my other poor cat that died suddenly in my arms.

Your empty parcel sounds a bit more important than a few guitar strings. They sent them again and I have them now.

It cost me about £1500 in all to get diagnosed privately. Worth every penny. My NHS doc simply dismissed what I said on the grounds that he had never seen a case of relapsing polychondritis so it was too rare for me to possibly have it. Mind u it took the specialist 6 months of keeping me under obs to confirm it. Something the NHS would never have done.

Yes all finished in the garden frog, I think that's the best I can say 🤐 thoroughly unimpressed by yet one more firm turning up without notice (had been asked to text ahead even if only with a few mins notice - didn't of course 🙄). Were revving up their equipment before even ringing the bell, I could've been out 🤷‍♀️ & I would not put money against them just getting on with it if I had been out on the dubious grounds they knew what the job was and yes I'd asked to be fitted in so were doing me a favour 😇🤨🤔. Not on really. I must make it my life's mission to find a nice handyman, even if it means 'networking' 😱😱. Ah well it's time saved to get some other job done, heaven help me 😬😂. Oh yes the synchronised arrival, I must have moved my shopping slot at least 5 times, right into the path of this, how do I do it 🤪 did it with the CH man last time if you remember, and that was not the first time either. At least I was up & doing because of al fresco, imagine them catching me out totally unawares 😱. Well I've had no invitation to Sleek's 'do', have you? I have a horrible feeling the only way we'll be there is if she is short of waitressing help 😂. Thank you Joan yes things are nearly all in their right place and I am in as control as I ever am 😂 I expect you remember when the boiler man did this as well by turning up late and clashing with my delivery.
