Just waiting for cupid's dart, well HAH with my syringes, near enough 😂. Not as nice a day today frog, I did a little burst of weeding & tidying like yesterday but much colder on the hands etc, but it's a small portion of something done. Good you have a choice of 2 possible tree folk 👍️ I do think a lot of it is money for old rope and also the whole quoting system (across all trades) is still too far much of a closed book 🤨 however much you look up average prices you still can't be sure your particular firm aren't just thinking of a number and doubling it, well unless they are clearly cheap obvs. Hey ho, I benefitted from a below average price person for years so will do a bit of mental offsetting. The problem was in not knowing my original chap was off the market but now I do I shall scout around - my tradesmen seem determined to injure themselves, I'm sure they do it just to spite me 😂. All I care about really is that the birds have a free run now at nesting. Hope your garden work was fruitful as well such as it was, imagine not thinking a daisy grubber is the perfect gift 😮😄. I expect you were glad to be allowed back into a warm house for a cup of tea 😄☕️. Kind of Sleek to bring me some nice bits & pieces, the 'sausage' rolls were very light and it was nice to find a couple of mini muffins because Joan had made me want one 🤭. Hello Joan, quite funny about the doughnuts 🤭 well if Brenda tells you about muffins you'll know another time, but then S will probably be out of stock and sub you the other sort anyway. Nice quiet day here I am trying to part with some boxes, the sort of thing you get that a product came in, kettles toasters whatever, you know you won't need again but I find them difficult to get rid of. Hope the mop is ok I quite want a go too, I have one you squeeze by pushing the slidey handle type thing down the length, it never seems to squeeze much out 🤷‍♀️. Looks like Saturday before a glimmer of sun here and wet tomorrow, ugh 😕. Better be kettle on I think ☕️😘 xx

Hi bosh in advance, or arrears for yesterday maybe. Hope your day is ok so far. I meant to say I am quite happy to be toad of toad campsite why not it would be a change ⛺ as long as it doesn't mean I have had to relinquish Toad Hall ofc, one doesn't want one's circumstances to slip too far 😬. Mushrooms at lunch no problem they were of an approved non-witch variety 👍️ sounded a nice toastie 😊 mushrooms in Toni's breakfast as well so all good. One thing I don't have at the moment though so will have to be the odd one out and think of something for lunch 😳 yes v late, went back to sleep after getting up for the bins. It was frustrating as I slept for 9 hours the night before last and I was so full of energy yesterday in the morning but I only dared do a fairly short walk due to leech - procedure in the afternoon

Also when I got back from the walk mum was in a mood so I could only sleep for ten minutes, well slightly less than that as i couldn’t find alarm clock phone etc so I slept for 5 minutes, looked at my watch and then slept for 5 minutes more (well just under)

Yes BB condescended to drive to Waitrose, not quite sure why, but he did read the free paper when he was there, so maybe that was the motivation

The non - vampire nurse experience was good thanks

except the nurse was staring at another nurse who was botching the job as it were and was taking blood from the second arm (of another patient) - the first arm not being satisfactory and she was staring so much that my arm did bleed a little bit more than it needed to, but it wasn’t too bad at all, especially compared to certain carnivorous nurses who are friends of bats and so on in the GP surgery.

BR drew a Valentine’s Day picture of flowers for his mother (and the aforementioned blue cheese for bill) but he only created a Valentine’s card for LA - I think the artist’s theme was again floral haha

And LA loved it and said, I quote, “I could stare at this card all day!”

BR told his carers that Valentine’s Day cards are not for mummies and daddies, only big brothers (and by implication not for lady babies of course- not until he’s a grown man of four and a half lol)

Hi all 👋 bitterly cold, really not nice at all 😣

Thank you Joan for telling us Toni is ok. Hope not too cold where you are but it's certainly dark if you're trying to see to do anything 🙄. Have just done a couple of odd jobs but nothing that adds up to much. Yes I do recycle boxes especially if they're a bit tatty because I then don't feel as tempted to keep them Some come in for packaging if I sell something, other ones I just have to make up reasons to part with - I say things like 'well if this item had come with different packing like bubble wrap & a plastic bag, I would never have had a box, and wouldn't be any worse off'. Sometimes this works 😄. Ooh the sandwich bags, I have wondered sometimes about those, good to know they work well I might try them 👍 do they need a couple of cycles round in the toaster? 🤔. Have a good evening maybe Sunday will be nicer 🤞😘 xx

Hi bosh, yes the campsite has bookings it is a bit out of season 😬 bring own camping stove but R Brek supplied. Baked beans if required may be extra 😉👍️. Glad your day was nice Jojo good to get outdoors, it wasn't nice here so did indoor things mostly. Have been meaning to mend & paint a little cupboard for ages & ages, only will be in the garage nothing glamorous, so made a bit of a start on that. And sorted recycling which is an endless task 😱 are your bins one week green one week rubbish (unexciting question I know 😄). Have a good Sunday :) xx

Hi toady it was cold and wet here too so we seen the animals and the kids enjoyed the 2 indoor play area and we got a nice hot drink. Yeah we have normal rubbish bins one week then the recycling bin the week after. I'm glad you managed to catch up on some jobs you've got to do them when you feel well enough because on bad days it can be hard to do anything. I'm full of cold lately hopeing it will shift for tomorrow with a long day at work for me.

Morning Joan how are you today? I do hope you are feeling well and the dogs are too. Thank you again for making sure no-one here worried about me. Apparently I was not the only person who couldn't get on yesterday morning (I contacted Peter - the boss) something was being done to the site. Fixed by the afternoon. By then I was out with Kari at a jumble sale!!!! Yes really! She sews you see so we were after fabrics. I also got a toy till for Arya for when she grows a bit older😊 Take care ((())) xxx

Perhaps BB was indeed after reading a free paper I mean what's not to like there? I am glad your blood letting went ok and hope the person who was doing a bad job gets better at it too in future. Thus saving extra bruises for your phlebotomist's victims….er….patients.

I loved the poem I really did it was perfect! I mean 'sobriety and variety' oh my goodness your use of the English language Reshmi!!! I had a quick look in my purse and found a £1 coin so I've paid our rent to Toady for now. Help yourself to as many biccies as you like. Phantom package stealing neighbours indeed! The audacity.

So today the EF descent is happening. Glad to see the extra vegan cheese has arrived. We are off to a vegan market today if there's none there l will know where it has all been diverted too. Shame you only got 2x5 minute cat naps you'll be needing all your energy for the next few days. Hope your Mum has remained nice and calm and not upset her heart at all due to the imminent arrival of the tiny tyrant.

Hope all is well at yours today. My small cat said she told you I was ok just couldn't get on line yesterday so you weren't worried at all. I hope that's true? Was very annoying as i was initially allowed to write my post (on the day before's link), but when I tried to send it it was gone. I got a message saying the server IP address couldn't be found. Blamed myself as I had cleared out my cache - honestly! - the day before. Luckily I had been in touch with the boss Peter before so emailed him and he replied on a Saturday - service eh?!

Kari and I went to a jumble sale! In the very posh million pound houses village yesterday afternoon essentially for fabrics for her sewing. I got a till for Arya for when she grows up look Elfie loves it. He's busy scanning Sleek's cat food tins!

Not being a fan of plastic i have bought quite a few toys from charity shops or nosegay as you know. Antibac wipe and it's sorted. You can actually speak on the mike and say 'housekeeping to aisle 3 please' it's fabulous £4. They are about £30 on catazon new.

Oh BTW can you take motorhomes on your site and do you have electric hook ups????🤣
