Joan the girls were really good little helpers they sued to lie still by me while I rested. Help me to dress and Charley helped me wash my hair. We only had a bath so once I got in she used to pour a bucket of water over my head! Bless them They were little angels. ((())) xxx

I’ve called it “Oh I wish I was a pharmacist mocker with flowers and antihistamines in my hair “
In ‘77 and ‘69 there as so much pollen was in the air
But I was born into a world where masks were shredded without a care
And the chemist stole my tablets, so i didn’t have a prayer
When cheese was like gold and valued by the bar
And the only pickles were those inside a jar
When vampire nurses were obsolete and courtesy was king
When the dreaded physio had a soul
And social media was still down the rabbit hole
When Big Ella was extra scary and rejected BR’s ring
When kids were eating sandwiches made of cheese
With no mould in sight, no chance of disease
But I was born too late in a world where I sit on the biccie - cupboard floor, not a chair

Hi all 👋 just a quick visit, such a super day have been catching up on garden etc and therefore not doing other things I should have been 😬.

A truly nice day for once frog, no rain! no wind! not cold! no people! Gosh. Have done quite a bit of tidying up (still no trowel 🤷‍♀️), lots of thigs coming up even some seedlings in the coldframe that only went in no time ago - some little perennial wallflowers, a sort of hybrid mix of their own from a certain seed firm, will be interesting. Oh dear the alliums, I'd not thought, here's me with lots, but next door's cat hardly comes over now finger's crossed & there are no others. Would your person be likely to ask if they are growing nicely 😬? If you can get away with it then yes passing them on is about the best plan really. Sorry you can't have the benefit of your gift though. What is your seed list looking like, nice and methodical? I have more to do especially as Stuart's tomatoes are in. Nice to see I made Sleek smile 😄 I did myself of course looking at that picture, you can't not can you 😂. Indeed Elfie is best at home next week where you know where he is, he can come here with Sleek in a catsi, not in her sidecar too risky I think 😉. Is the motorhome ok as far as you know? Hello Joan oh I hope the nice weather isn't going to be interrupted, maybe I won't look at the forecast and just hope for the best. It was so nice today. Batteries aren't reliable as to what they tell you I find, mine is always saying it's got an hour and a half left or something and you know you wouldn't get anything like that out of it really 🙄. The dogs miss Charlie then, and are used to him too, hope he's getting on ok. Have a good Sunday it has come round quick 😘 xx

When I make hot choc with non-cow's milk I usually opt for coconut milk (low fat/no sugars if i can get it) not coconut water of course. I tend to think oat a bit thick and creamy for hot choc don't you?

Hmmmm yes if my friend asks I need to tell her I can't grow them here. I so admired them in her garden you see and should have added something like "Shame I can't grow them because of Sleek". I will pot them up and they can be sold at the plant sale😔

They are likley to be ok in your garden I think no so mine Sleek spend a lot of time outside. She was helping me tidy up the catmint bushes. I know here she loves to press her face in my plants and just can't risk it. You'll be fine She is usually otherwise occupied at yours doing some DIY or is it DIT when she's there?

Sunny start here so it looks promising frog and for your drive 😊. Sorry didn't take in that you weren't going away in the campervan, when you go, oh well one less thing to think about no having to keep half an eye on its 'workings' 👍. Hope it does get its something done and can be relied on after. I will look forward to Elfie's one permitted visit 😂 and we will think of something fun to do, I promise it won't just be the dustpan and brush 'to play with' 😬🤭. Hi all - lovely day but a bit too tired to make use of it 🙄 more sun to come thankfully.

I got a lineful of washing out Joan 😀 not quite enough to dry it but if it comes in near the radiators overnight it may not need to go out again. Glad you got some liquorice at a better price but all prices seem quite high enough to me these days, I expect them to be more like what they used to be but that's going back to when prices ended in half a pence 😬😂. Glad Charlie is back safe did he say it was colder up there, it is still very cold at nights at the moment isn't it. Have a good night yourself 😘xx

Hi bosh I've been doing Toni's 'cardi on cardi off' all day today, don't know if I'm warm or cold from one minute to the other. How are your cardi/hat/coat layers doing today. Seed planting is a bit slow with packing and preparations to make such an early holiday for me. Yes on a plane hence not wanting Elfie in a suitcase. Once Lucy's case did go missing at the airport of all the cases to lose! That's when I learnt to keep all meds in our hand luggage. We also lost her case on a caravanning trip to Cornwall. With her special toys inside.

Elfie can come in the motorhome no chance of losing him.

I need to see your seedlings 🌱 please. Notes are good but like me you are often too busy to do things at quite the right time.

Right better get on Penelope is having her paintwork touched up this week. Paul is coming with me to bring me back home.

morning all. What a great few days. Sucré back at nursery this morning and I miss him so much I feel sick. Really taking the edge off having a new guitar (well second hand new any way). He been so good lately even the hotel staff commented at breakfast how well behaved he is. And Loanda been under the weather with another cold / flu thing so she slept in the bunk bed to get a decent night’s sleep and Sucré slept in with me and snugged up, so now he not around I feel really miserable, although he was really excited about going and seeing his friends so that’s good and he absolutely loves the staff / teachers there so he probably having a great time. Sorry to go on but it helps to talk about it. He at Niff’s tonight just for one night as Loanda working tomorrow, and I ha e a couple of bits to repair on the new/old guitar that I didn’t notice in the shop 🙄 so that will keep me busy.
anyway how is everyone?? I really must read back and see what everyone is chatting about rather than just going on about me.
How is Penelope Toni? Is she all fixed now with a new wheel bearing?

Lovely pic of the cat Stuart. Loanda has officially given me permission to get a cat, even though she allergic. Do you think a cat would be disturbed by fairly loud guitar playing, sort of volume you can talk over but still quite loud? I wouldn’t want to leave him/her in the house alone whilst I am out in the bunker playing as when I am only one here I am out there all day pain levels permitting.

Toni, GS was back to Warwick. I don’t name all my guitars, but this one is Warwick II as I already have Warwick which is my favourite atm, I think Warwick II will soon take that accolade. One of the others is called the Bacon Butty Strat as straight after buying from a guitar shop in Southend Loanda and I stopped off along the sea front for breakfast and we had porridge. Lol

No we had a bacon roll. Back when I could eat such things. Prior to blue badge too so goodness knows how I managed to get parked????
We went back to Hatton Locks whilst away. The one moment when Sucré was playing up just a little and I seriously worried about him falling in the canal he was being so silly.

Right going back to bunker now, just made breakfast for Loanda as she still not too good although she says she off to sort washing machine. I’ve already done 4 loads since we got back with what was already waiting and stuff from trip etc etc.

Hi skinny keef I know how you feel about kids going back to school my 2 went back today I miss them a lot especially since we didn't get to spend much time with them last week because my back went off I was pleased to get out with them on Friday they really enjoyed the play area. Hi Jojo, I must admit I went through a bad patch last year where I wasn’t enjoying fatherhood, but I’m well passed that now and look forward to Sucré being around. He just nice to have around and he would rather be doing stuff with me, playing music in the bunker or building Lego etc than watching tv, which after talking to other parents seems to be the opposite of some children. He is a good little chap most of the time.
