Hi everyone, hope you are all as ok as possible and had a lovely sunny day - OH was doing the lawn and the strimming, (we have to get a new strimmer), this one was so cheap and it was false economy and not good for his blood pressure.
We had a little walk round the market, just a few yards, but it was nice to get out. Bought a few more plants for the garden.

I will sit by the window, am a bit warm, there is no happy medium, I am either perished or in a total lather.

    Hi Coco
Been working this morning- started at 7 so come home tidied up and now enjoying a glass of wine in the garden - anyone else want one? also have left some in the fridge and some lager....
What another lovely day --I hope this is not all we are going to get of summer this year
Reminds me of 1976 - it was like this then, remember walking up the hosp drive with all the daffs out in my shorts - then red hot all summer I remember it well it was the year my dad died - he was only 50!
    Boy was it hot!

Hi Cath and Val, it certainly has been a lovely day, OH has been so busy in the garden, sorting everything from re potting, to fences, throwing shrubs away that were ravaged by the frosts - we are looking very smart, my cowslips are all blooming, my fav flower, chives are getting ready to flower, whisteria is budding. Sat out with a cup of T, very nice it was too.

I will watch the stars through the open window, let some heat out, a bit warm in here.
