    Oooo, thank you Barbara, for hiding away some of the sticky toffee pudding for me. Yummy! :D
    Elizabeth, I'm sure your daughter will have been sensible about crossing the road and she will feel quite grown up.
    I couldn't be bothered cooking tonight so I had some prawns, cucumber, tomatoes, cheese and lettuce and dipped them in chilli hummus and mayonnaise with scotch bonnets and Monterrey Jack cheese.

    applerose Im sorry I missed you last night...your tea sounded nice..my OH loves the scotch bonnets .. :o
    today the sun is shinning ...I dont mind the winter days when we have the sun ...just wish I could get stuck into my garden...I keep looking through the window at it..oh is not a gardener....if I bring the bus do you all want to come and help... :D

    Barbara, its not to bad down here either. If you send the bus down to me I shall come and help you. As long as I can get some of you to come and help me afterwards.

    And sorry, but I have to ask. What are scotch bonnetts. I've never heard of them before. It's because I'm a southerner probably.

    They are chillies....and are very hot...
    I am glad you have the good weather....right Im on my way with the bus..and you can stay over night... then go to yours in the morning... :lol:
    we need a bulldozer at the back of ours...can't even see my little pond I made... :roll:

    Barbara, when we are done at yours can the bulldozer come to mine as well. Our back and front need something doing to them. Dont quite know what but I very quickly walk passed(well, I walk past) our front of house.

    And they are chillies. I have never heard of them before. Tony probably probably has as he did a lot of work up north before we met.

    I am going to sit and have a hot choc, if anyone would like to join, I am making it with full milk. Might even get some marshmellows to put on top.

    Karen I will join you for a drink...we have just had my son and baby here to give mum a rest...the poor thing is going mad with her teeth not mum the baby :lol: ..she has two at the front its the back ones..

    Scotch bonnets are very hot chillies from the Caribbean. I like my food hot. :lol:
    I'm desperate to get in to my garden to get the last of the tidying up done. It was quite nice here today but I was too tired when got home from work. Hopefully we'll have some nice weather at the weekend.
    I'll join you in a hot chocolate. Marshmallows on top sounds delicious.

    gosh I had some very strange dreams again last night,..it has to be the amytriptalines...not a clue how you spell it.

    I shall have a cuppa Barbara, thanks for putting the kettle on. And have a good time shopping.

    I have to take my eldest to her appointment this afternoon. And Tony is taking the youngest to the doctors. Basically, I cant be in two places...

    So, at mo taking advantage of a sit down and then shall get some ironing done(yuk).

    Had a sleep in the morning and then my brother came to visit as he had a delivery in London.

    Now I'm back in bed with flaring knees and a slight headache so won't stay online long.

    Well, I'm afraid to report that it is bitterly cold down here. H did well today, came out with a smile on her face. And she had an exam in the morning.

    Glad you had a good time shopping and a nice meal Barbara. We were naughty tonight and all had a macdonalds.

    Hope everyone has had a reasonable day, and not to much pain wise.

    Right, I shall put the kettle on, if anyone would like a cuppa and biccy with me. I shall be by the window.

    One espresso coming up...and a happy March to you..it would have been my mum and dads anniversary today...they have been gone a long long time now but I still take flowers the the cemetery.....

    Toni, I would have joined you if I had showed up a bit earlier. And my poison is tea. Barbara, you have a lovely time with you're gd. And cuddling is the best part really isn't it.

    I am going around town today, I have an eye test a bit later. I know I will need a new prescription. And, actually on my own today. Wow, what to do. Yes you've guessed it.....housework, and some more housework.

    Well I had just dropped off to sleep yesterday when OH Mum knocked at the door! OH is away in Spain and I'm coping alone so people keep popping round to see I'm okay :roll: whereas I just want and need to sleep.

    Its sods law isn't it..I have some lovely neighbors...they call round to see if I need anything when hubbys at work...but you can guarantee I will be having a nap..bless um they do mean well..we do help them out with the children...hope you managed a rest today....

    Can you make another hot choc for me please. Been out and yes I do need new glasses. But will wait till my eldest is with me to choose, when I try glasses on I cant see what they look like. And the cold. I went to pay some bills as well. Fingers so cold, could hardly seperate the money.(maybe I just didn't want to hand it over) Going to warm up by the fire.
