    Afternoon all, Elizabeth, sorry to hear you are still suffering. I do hope you do take it nice and easy. Hopefully you will be able to be there tomorrow morning for your daughter.

    Catie and Barbara, sorry you both had a bad night sleep. And I do hope you both get a better night tonight.

    I have been with a friend this morning. It was lovely to see her. And had a lovely time.

    Shall sit by the window and have a cuppa.

    Karen Im glad you had a good time with your friend...I am losing touch with people at the min apart from my niece that is....
    Its really lovely here today so been sat out giving orders to my OH...how I wish I could get stuck in ....

    Today I will be meeting my lovely niece for a pub meal... :D so am looking forward...

    I'm 'home alone' and enjoying the peace and quiet.... Gosh, hope I'm not sounding like an old and grumpy woman :)

    I had a lovely time thank you Catie...we meet up around once a month...and I do look forward to seeing her...
    never mind turning into a grumpy old women thats me ..well on bad days it is.... :shock:

    Afternoon all

    We had our big shop day, and I am really beginning to hate them. Loding and then the unloading and putting away. Thank goodness it's over for another week.

    Barbara, glad you had a lovely time with you're niece. Will you be having any tea tonight or are you still full.

    Catie, dont you worry, you dont sound like that. I think we all enjoy the thought a time on our own. Well, I certainly do.

    Elizabeth, did you manage you're daughters assembly. Hope you are not to bad.

    I shall have a nice green tea and sit by the window. I need to rest up.

    Im the same I hate the big supermarkets..I just cant get round them...we do have a mini As** near us and that since to go round
    Its has gone very cold here ..and I thought we were going to save money on heating.... :roll:
    Think I will have a cuppa and a ponder by the window... :D

    Barbara, it's not to bad here I'm glad to say. But I will come and join you by the window and we can both have a good ponder.

    We have a big meeting for H tomorrow morning and I am dreading it. They are all going to be there to help H out but we have heard this so many times before. We shall see, we shall see.

    I do the 'heavy' stuff on line once a month now and then shopping is 'more' of a pleasure :)

    I was wondering how Eilzabeth had got on too at the assembly.

    I do hope she made it, but she was so poorly :?

    Think I will have a small (bottle of) sherry :wink:

    Toni I tried shopping on line and it was a big help...but I came unstuck a few times with the weights...I am still in lbs and ounces.... :roll: :lol:

    I'll have a hot chocolate please Coco. Thank you. It'll help me sleep. Although I have had 9 1/2 hours for the last 2 nights so maybe I won't need it tonight. :shock:
    My son and daughter are always telling me to shop online but, as there is only me, my big shop is no more than 2 small carrier bags. And I prefer to choose my own fresh produce.
    Glad you enjoyed your meal with your niece Barbara.

    Raining here today..I always think sun when they say it will be warmer.. :roll:
    applerose I have nights like that were I am out of it....I did 12 hours once my PH had to shake me to see I was ok.... :o:lol:
    How is our Coco doing ...hope you got some sleep with the hot choc...
    mig ..I used to buy Milo I will have a look for you..
    Shopping on line can save you money ...IE you don't pick up all the treats you don't need...my niece says it save her a fortune... :)
    today hubby is off work so we will be able to go out....not sure were in the rain....

    I hope everything has gone well this morning for you Karen. Fingers crossed that all is well.

    We've never shopped online for our groceries, but it's something we often talk about. What a lot of time and bother it would save :)

    I've just heard that Bonnie Tyler is representing us in the Eurovision Song Contest - didn't realise she was still singing :)

    Afternoon all

    This morning went well. Both me and Tony wer very pleased with the outcome. Now we should get help. But it has worn both of us out. Sitting on hard seats for two hours has not helped at all. And then I had to go with H to another appt. Ok, now I have had it. I hurt bad.

    Mig, I have never heard of Milo before. Hope you cn find some.

    Right, am going to sit, with a cuppa and watch the world go by. Really wishing it would slow right down.

    Catie..I do have a lovely relationship with my niece...she used to stay with us when she was little she is now 29..and we always have a good laugh...Bonnie Tyler I used to love listening to her ..must be a big comeback...
    Karen that is such a relief...I was worried how you would all get on..thank goodness something came of it all...your poor bones...here a cuppa now put your feet up..
    We have just been out and came across a food market from all over the world...we didnt even know it was on...so bought some lovely French bread :D

    I'm glad things went well for your daughter, Karen. Two hours was a long time to be sitting around like that and as Barbara rightly says....put your feet up and relax if you're able.

    Barbara, I liked Bonnie too....especially 'total eclipse of the heart'. She had such a distinct and gravelly voice :). I really fancy some of your bread :)

    There you are Catie..proper French bread..I do love good bread and there is nowhere round here to buy it.. :roll: used to get batons from M&*..but it started to taste differently..so we were lucky to come across this continental market ..it finishes tomorrow..
    I will have a cuppa and sit by the window for a min....I am stuffed..bread and cheese.. :D

    They certainly dont make bread like they used to. Me and Tony were only saying the other day how the bread,ever uncut is just not as good. So, can I have a piece of you're lovely french bread. Pretty please......

    Yep made it to assembly but was a little late so had to walk in on my own with everybody staring at me! They had reserved a parking space and a front seat for me and I got given a bunch of roses as my daughters line was about giving flowers to your Mum (somebody else got the chocolates).

    Karen I am glad some issues were resolved for H but shame you had to sit for 2 hours as I know it can cause problems.

    also done a big shop today as both my older children will be staying for a few days. I only manage a shop once every 3 months as this is one job OH is good at although he doesn't always pack it away!

    We used to drink Milo but I've not seen it for ages. I wonder if it is still for sale?

    Elizabeth, so glad you made it to your daughters assembly. And that you will have your older girls with you the weekend. Have a fantastic time, and get spoilt rotten. Make sure you rest up tomorrow for the weekend.

    Thank you for your fb messages! They are staying until Saturday. My friend came round and changed all my beds and hoovered and ironed my children's school uniform because I haven't been well.


    Chinese and lots of cake today.

    I hope you can get some rest and relief from the pain Karen.

    Its pouring down outside and dark... :roll: so wont be going out...its our middle GDs Birthday on Monday...12...and my youngest sons Birthday on Sunday 38...oooh I feel old...I know I can hear you ...(you are) :lol:
