Morning frogmorton yeah I did get some photos my foot is probably the worst pain so far this morning didn't sleep very well again had to get up take painkillers. I'm pleased you enjoyed the beach we don't live too far away from the beach but I wish we had more time to go there. I hope you are well and I hope you have a great day.

Morning all 👋 might be a part 1 depending on postmen deliveries breakfast etc.

No sign of rain here frog so will be delighted to have Elfie, he might not need his sou'wester at mine we can 'play out' 🤭 at worst we can look out the window glumly together, but it doesn't really look like it will do anything here 🤞. I will love to see the sea glass 😊. Poor Lucy's kitten, glad no surgery! and ouch the cost! I broke one of mine once - all for free 😬 - better say a word in praise of the NHS hadn't I, in among yesterday's grumbles 😳. No not all sorted yet, a phone call today and waiting for a probably useless email but that's from outside the NHS just related. Must get on with some tidying up too or things will slip back to pre-boilerman standards in the blink of an eye 😣. Glad you haven't got too much on today, have a nice time with Kari and I hope inspiration strikes for her present if that's what you need, or just time to get around to it. Oh the 'locals', well getting younger slowly as a few of the older residents have moved or passed away - you tend not to get new old people do you, so the age bracket will keep edging downward I expect. The younger ones will never become the same sort of older generation will they, Mr and Mrs working chap + housewife + one car etc, but there are arguments for and against that I guess and today's type will be the new norm til it's time for that to be 'old-fashioned'. I forgot to mention about the Figs; no pink, I bet. Is Penelope in good fettle now? 🤞Love to all 😘 xx

Glad you're getting by Jojo and got some stuff done 👍️ I need a grocery shop too just can't face chucking an order together. If pushed I could more or less just click order same again type thing but them I feel that's lazy and will mean I'm just eating the same stuff which isn't very good of me. Do you have a milk delivery round for odds & ends, have I asked before. Hope you got your second lot of hoovering done and feel better for it, and it didn't take too much out of you. All I've done is wash my hair which is more tiring than anything somehow 🤷‍♀️. Take care hope your evening is ok :) xx

Hello Joan hope you got on ok at Sains did they have everything both of you wanted. I had an ama*on delivery the box had a smashed little bottle of soft drink, nasty mess 😣 the automated system thing on the website just refunded me without any fuss for the multipack of 4, I guess if you don't make a habit of it they trust that it's a genuine complaint. Oh well 3 free little drinks. Everything quiet here I was a coward and haven't faced my emails yet, it's something that's probably going to annoy me so I'll wait til I feel like it 😬. Bit breezy here today but ok otherwise, hope it was alright where you are & no rain while you were out 😘 xx

Hi bosh, oh no a complimentary chocolate and a complimentary damp top at the HDs 🤨 you'd sort of think they would notice! Yes not nice to go round that soggy, do you think the hasty t-shirt purchase will turn out to be one you like a lot, like an ill wind etc 😬. Glad you had a good cut anyway 👍️. I can't lean over the backwards basin thing so they would have had to settle for getting me wet somewhere else. Nothing much going on here today, I was just thinking about my next milk order and noticed that quite a few nice things were 'only for our customers in Wales' or in Scotland, well how very partisan of the midnight milkman! 😮 tut. I have just been refunded £3.33 by the catazon cs robot for a damaged item so as they say I shall try not to spend it all at once 😄. Lovely to see dear Grumpy cat in the pic today, and I thought that mosquito was very clever, 'ha, I laugh at your insect repellent!' Very good 👍️. Have a good evening hope all's well :) xx

You're right you don't often get 'new' old people moving in do you? Shame that as they are in the main quieter and easier to get on with. I can't remember that last time that trampoline got used next door though…..well apart from Elfie who as you can imagine is on it most days.

I broke a few toes too a few years ago - all free on the NHS as has Kari what are we all like! Cost not a bean. Poor little cat she seems ok though is on cage rest Sleek has been over with 'the' Dr's bag to check her over. On her way to you this morning while I am at the food bank.

Elfie is happy to help you keep on top of your housework in exchange for food. Say no more!

Morning frogmorton yeah got some housework done. I've got a horrible dull pain in my back been like that since finishing at work so might be off my job. Yeah the kids always get nice treats and they go straight to the door way and grab what they want and start eating them I got them a tub of haribos you can't go wrong with them yeah we do get discount which helps keep the price down a bit. Yeah me Michael might get to the beach one Friday if we are not too busy sorting the kids rooms out. I hope you are well and I hope you have a great day.

Morning all hope everyone with stuff to do and places to go has got off to a good start 👍.

Nope no rain frog long may it last, for me, the weather coming in after bank hol week looks grim, temps dropping straight down to 18 &c as usual no happy medium 🙄. The summer has no way set me up for colder weather this year and most of it has been spent on roofers & plumbers & boilers mutter grumble. Not sure what Elfie and I will do to cheer up, a jigsaw might do it for him I think it'll take a bit more doing with me 😬. Hope Sleek is back from her Drs rounds happy with the patient poor thing hope it isn't too long for her 😔 Sleek will tell me all about it and any tales about you & Arnty Kari, all of us snapping our toes like twiglets apparently 🤭 not whilst trampolining anyway! Glad 'it' isn't getting much use at the moment 👍. Has 'your' house in the village sold yet, I must check on mine 🤔. Will stock up on suitable Elf snacks btw, it's a deal 😄. I still have every penny of my £3.33 😄 somehow when you've had a refund you don't want to part with it again I find, maybe it needs to go on something symbolic. Nothing doing with me today, and it's been quiet, well mostly - workmate boy had a little go this morning but at one point he was sawing with a hand saw, so all is forgiven* well almost, if he can use a hand tool. *I spelt that as 'frogiven' first time round, good word, eh 🐸😂 well a lot better than the some of the new admissions to the Cambridge dictionary 🙄 evolution of language & all that, but Susie sitting in dictionary corner explaining that the origin of a word is some dubious viral bluecube thing, no thanks. Nice mushroom man but yes actually quite ookey to have a basket of fellow fungi 😮😬. Perhaps he's looking for a little salmon to go with that, if someone hasn't got there before him 🤨😄. Well a diagnosis is a start Stuart, sorry to hear of course 😟 hope they explained it all fully, and you feel it all fits well with everything you've been experiencing. More tests 😣 oh dear are they spread out over different appointments I expect so, or it's a lot at once unless you prefer getting things over with. Hope it all goes as well as poss, sorry it's been a tough day not surprised your knees are complaining. Hope you can rest up, all the best 😘 xx

Oh dear me Jojo not your back again you must be careful at work. Although i am going to be honest - hoovering and mopping can really aggravate mine. The good thing is I can justify getting Paul to sweep up outside though😉

You have definitely not had the benefit of the summer all of your time has been 'wasted' inside hasn't it? You must be miffed to say the least.
