Hi all, apologies, I have run out of time and energy, all the puskins seem to have had a wail of a time, running us ragged. Is it a new moon or something.

Not able to write this evening, so I will have to wish everyone a good night and I will away and gather some extra hours for today.

Take care all, I think it will have to be cereals for breakfast, there are loads in the kitchen cupboards. XXX Aidan

Aidan cereal is fine by me and I've made pancakes if anyone wants one?

    u030.gif

I hope today is far more restful for you ((()))

Mmmm...Mum and Dad ok, but quiet....you shall see what's happening time will tell....

With regards to me being a 'Fair maiden' (as said by Mr Fox) I forgot to say I looked down and I WAS!!! I was 20 years younger and slim and so healthy!! Next time you are in take a look at yourself!!

OMG!!! the elder wand??? The ravine!! gosh!! can the elder wand heal itself? Surely not? but maybe???

If Tomicat was mentored by Dumbledore? wow!! Merlin WOW!!

I am sure he knows about the sorting hat. Do you think he might actually BE at Hogwarts on Thursday?

Much catnotherapy has been happening with Pepe as you said including exposure therapy (real voles) and yesterday they were out 'doing good' again saved a pusskin somewhere up on the Wrekin who was scared of her cat-flap :) Bless :)

How right was Miss Sleek!! A dangerous man with a scary weapon - Pepe could surely have flayed him. Or given Miss S some earplugs??

CAN we get the bus out for next Saturday(caturday)??

Carol can you collect some hours for Aidan while you're there please? he ran out big time yesterday bless him.

I am very glad to hear you are chucking the cold off :) I hope Mr T does too, (but we know men  ).

8 days until you get to visit all the littlies yippee!!:) will Mr T be off to the Holy Island then too?

Oh Kerrin!!!!!!!!! A week yesterday?!! I bet you are so exited your Mum especially :):) I wish we could all be there with you :D Are you on honeymoon after that?

Electric bike are such a good idea. Much better than all our polluting cars  Good to hear you and your Mum had some fun together. Jericat's flying is really impressive and yes Tomicat has his lips still sealed. Wonder how long he can keep that up for?

Elizabeth :) I very much hope all is goin well with you and you are surviving the school hols? Is your Lucy off the hook too for her home schooling while it's the summer break?

Shame the steroid is wearing off :( Any date yet for your hip?

I am so very glad to hear you have a lovely patio!! You deserve it :)

I wanna know your news!! You might have to PM us all :)

Barbara yes 12 years 13 in March - that's not unlucky is it? :?

Have you been overfeeding the tortoise?!! I think Diddicat has been in your garden she mentioned a moving stone....

The wedding is next Saturday!! EXITING!!

am glad the neighbour is back soon and HE hasn't tried anything. all good :)

Hello to Joan I hope all is well and next time you go to the hospital for results tell us and we'll be there under the cloak :) It is warm!!

    The conifers gone!

Aiden, you did have a right night last week. I’m glad it wasn’t anything too serious for your neighbour and that mum is to have the DN round each day. Yes I think it is good for us all to be normal here in the café for a while. Maybe normal isn’t quite the right word …. hmmmm….maybe mad as hatters is more appropriate. Thanks for the link to the magnifier. It looks good but I tend to sit on the sofa with my laptop. Think I need something that will attach to the laptop. I’ll have a nosy round that site though.

Joan, its good you are getting ankle boots. They will support your feet and hopefully no pain. If you ever have to go for blood test results or anything else, let us know. We will get the cloak out and join you. You won’t be alone.

Toni, good to hear Lucy has had a night out with her friends, even if it was an early morning pick-up for you. Hope her cold isn’t too bad. Thanks for the thumbs up on the magnifier. I didn’t think of Hobbycraft. There is one I could get to. Might pop in sometime to have a look. I can’t really afford to cut down my work hours any further at the moment. Things have been a little easier this week so we’ll see. Good to see the conifers have gone. Doesn’t look like too much mess either.

Carol, hope you had a lovely time. 2-3 lbs weight gain isn’t bad at all. I usually put on about 7 lbs. Happy belated birthday to Mr T. Ah you actually lost 1 lb. Wow, that’s amazing for being on holiday. Fingers crossed your cold and cough are gone ready for Margate.

Kath, the scrubbing brush sounds like a good idea. The basket is lovely. Keeps things tidy and less noticeable. Aiden mentioned the foot shaped ones you stick to the bath. My daughter got me one. At first I thought it was a good idea but, when I tried it, I needed to balance on one foot. Not such a good idea after all. Just read you are in a lot of pain. I always wonder what is causing it. Could be a few things. Hope it has eased up now. Love the poem. Sums up our little café just right.

Kerrin, I hope the junior nationals went well and you managed to get some beach time. Hope your cough has eased some more. How lovely to be able to spend some time with your mum. The wedding is next Saturday. You must be so excited now. We must get ribbons for the bus and we all need new hats.

Barbara, I see you have had a fall. Hope the bruising goes down quickly. Glad the hip seems ok. Road signage doesn’t do a lot to slow traffic unfortunately. The road round the corner from me has a flashing 30 sign but quite a few cars do about 50 and one or two even go at 70-80 mph.

Elizabeth, great news that your patio decking is finally done. You should still have a few weeks where you can sit out and admire it. Some exciting news? You’ve got us all wondering now.

Things with me have been a bit better this week. Thank you for letting me have the bush babies. They are on their way over to Kath’s and Barbara’s. I saw Aiden’s crepes and Toni’s pancakes and it made me want some for lunch so I went in to the kitchen and came back with …….. cheese and ham sandwiches. Oh dear. Two army helicopters and two Chinooks flew over my garden and down in to the airport just before I came in for lunch. Wonder what they are doing here. I finally got round to writing my essays for my meditation diploma and I’ve passed it. I’ve arranged to meet up with my old school friends in a few weeks then my cousins and aunties are coming for the weekend soon after that.

Afternoon to one and all, finally, a little moment to sit a while, perched on gel cushions :)

T'is a lovely day, warm, but there is a breeze, which is very welcome.

It seemed very odd to miss a day - feels like I have not been here in weeks.

So Kerrin, the wedding is next week, how wonderful, Mum has come over and you have been riding bikes that give a little help to the wheels.
I take it you are home now, sorting out the last minute things. Everything will go well, I am sure of it. You are very organised, I can tell
I see Toni has the Bus out, ready for the wedding day, are we gate crashing  :lol:

Oh you will have seen Jericat whizzing about, she is a dab paw with the broomstick. Pepe and Miss Sleek have been to see her and she came up to Pendle and they all went into the ravine to see "the wand" and Tomicats broomstick, he is keeping so many great secrets is Mr Tomicat :? :?

I hope your chest is feeling better and you do right not to take any more Mtx until after the wedding.

I thought I saw you in the shed in the secret garden Carol, I had just been in for some spare hours, but I must have dropped some on the way back   as I don't seem to have caught up yet.

I am glad to hear that your cough and cold are improving, better send the bush babies in for Mr T, just in case. You will be in trouble for sharing it  :?

You did well to sleep in the armchair, can you recline in it? I was told off by the physio's a long time ago, do NOT go to sleep in your chair, go to bed if you are tired. OK. Something about the sciatic nerves and my back problems.

It was Mr T's fault for falling asleep in the sun, you were busy, keeping an eye on the children. As you say, he learnt his lesson, ouch though.

A week and you will be off for lots of cuddles and snuggles with the family in Margate. Bet you cannot wait. I liked your new profile pic on FB.

Covonia, oooh, the strong stuff :lol: Do you sing, when you take it, like the advert. ;)

Hi Joan, it is warm here too, we have three windows wide open, with grills in to keep the puskins safe.

So the Specialist has discharged you back to the care of the GP, will save you having to trail up to the hospital regularly. If there are any journeys, don't forget we will come with you. ((()))

Hi Toni, thanks for making the pancakes, much appreciated in my adsence of hours. Pepe is gliding around my feet at the moment, he is obviously happy with things.
Today has been kind of a catch up day, popped out to the supermarket, for a few bits, then home, I ironed the shirts while B went into the garden and tidied up the hedges, watered the pots and clipped off the dead flowers from the buddleia. There are still a lot of butterflies, but nothing else is out for them, the Cedum are just starting to turn pink, but a way to go yet.

Done some washing and drying too.

Yes, Mum n Dad were quiet, we are keeping on the periphery so to speak, seeing what transpires and always ready to assist.

Family coming after lunch tomorrow, B and SIL, with Mum and Dad. We have cakes at the ready :)

Now, come to think of it I had not realised that walking through the forest I had no crutches, I was just walking, without listing to port or starboard. Wow, I will try and find a mirror and see how trim I am, oh, I am not coming out :lol:

Yes, the ravine, we saw Harry throw the wand, but we didn't see where it landed or in which ravine, it could have washed down the streams, to ours. If the wand was so powerful, then I am certain it could heal itself. (shall we write another sequel :lol::D:D ).
I am suspecting that Dumbledore was Tomicats mentor, I don't know for sure, but it seems to fit together. I will be in the magic forest tonight, to see what is going on, if any more info is forthcoming.

He will know of the sorting hat, without a doubt, now, will he be at Hogwarts on the 31st? It would not surprise me, but it might surprise Pepe and Miss Sleek.

They are both doing well with ther catnotherapy and catnosis, Pepe said he had a real vole in his mouth, but I would have to hear it from your good self or from Miss Sleek. If he did, then he is 99.9% ready.

They are stars, when it comes to helping out puskins who are unhappy or in precarious places. I won't tell Pepe he is a super hero or he will want a supercat outfit with his pants on the outside.:lol::lol: :?

Sleek did tell Pepe all about the dangerous weapon in the garden, it was shaking the ground apparently, pus cats are sensitive to vibrations.

Looks SO much better with the trees gone, job well done. :)

Good, I see you have the bus all ready, we will have to decorate it with ribbons and balloons ready for the wedding.

Hi Barbara, hope you are feeling less bruised and improving, sending you a basket full of confidence too sfl
Pepe is funny, he is bonkers, they were all bonkers last night.

We are hoping that Mum or Dad would say something, or ring, or ask, if they need us, we keep saying, ring, anytime, night or day, for any reason.

Did you say that the garden had been on the tv, I am sure you did, but my brain is fading.

Excuse me while I go and take more pills. Be right back

Ah, the tortoise, three times bigger than the last time you saw it :lol: I did chuckle, I must admit. Thinking good grief what is it eating  I am sure it had a lovely time in the garden, knocking to come out, bless. You are very kind with all the local animals.
I will be setting the planner to record Jane's new cruising, cannot wait.
Plus, it is the US Open in NY for the next two weeks, so it will be wall to wall tennis, with a cruise thrown in for good measure, happy days. I see Andy Murray has pulled out and may be out for the rest of the year.

Kath, what a wonderful poem, you are very clever and wise. I think it sums up the cafe in a nutshell.

Loving the bunting too, we will certainly need it for the bus. I hope you are not too ouchy, the Bush babies will be around, so jammie dodgers at the ready.

Hi Christine, oh yes, we had a week and a half, we often do, everyone comes to us first, to sort things out, be it medical, computers, letters, jewellery...........smouldering dryers.........it all goes on.

No worries re the link for the magnifier, I hope you find one that is suitable for your laptop. You can alter the text size on your laptop as well, in settings, control panel. I will walk you through if you cannot find it. I think it is in accessibility section in the control panel.

We do need new hats for the wedding, I am looking as we speak :lol:

That is scary, drivers doing up to 70mph plus on a 30 road, when you see that terrible tragedy on the motorway yesterday, a whole family wiped out, due to a drunken lorry driver. Horrifying. Some people think they are invincible in their cars, with all the air bags and safety things, but, it is all dependent on the speed you are doing. If we see someone driving like an idiot, we pull back, let them past and stay back while they risk their lives and those of others.

We get a lot of army helicopters flying down the valley here, I guess the army and air force are always on manouvers, without us knowing about it. We have a huge British Aerospace base / factory etc, not far from us. Very secure and no way you could get in without permission.

Cheese and ham butties are fine, we love our cheese and beetroot sandwiches. Live on cheese we do :) oh and cake.

Way to go, passing your meditation diploma, knew you would :) More cake needed.
Meeting up with friends soon and then family, very nice too.

Right, I had better move, we need an extra special cake, seeing as I missed a day.
I hope everyone else is ok, leaving hugs in abundance as always.

I must pop in to see all the lovelies later.

Tea and cake, let me see...............XXX Aidan

Good evening to all - rather warm, but coping with the fans on at the moment.

I hope everyone is as ok as possible.

Hi Joan, all the plans for tomorrow have changed, BIL and SIL are not coming over as BIL has a cold and does not want to pass it on to Mum, so they are coming next week end.
So, we will head to the GC, just the four of us for coffee and cakes. Better get there early, with it being a Bank Holiday, it will be extra busy.
Mum is ok with the injections but cannot see very well to pop the injection into her tummy area, with the needles being so so fine. We don't know if Dad is "helping" or if the D Nurse is coming in each day, they have not said a word.

I hope you, Sue and the lovely doggies have had a good week end. Is your foot feeling a bit stronger? I do hope you are not kept waiting too long for your adapted boot. It will be much better for you.

Bless you hun,I think we are all very attached to the cafe, I know I was away for a while, but I missed it terribly. It is so good to be back. The contact that we have with each other on a daily basis, is a great comfort. ((()))

Toni, I completely agree that Kath should take a bow, her poem is wonderful and very fitting.

    a030.gif

Is your gardener man coming back to move the HUGE molehill he made and put all of it back, where the roots where? Wilhemena will be very happy there, loving the wall to cling to and festoon in flowers.

How is Lucy's cold? Improving I hope. I am assuming that you have not caught it. I know you said you were NOT having it.

Choir, how is the choir? Any more songs that we need to pass on to Barbara for her to practice :? :D

My regards to Rev Delphine, looking after her flock :)

Now, the magical forest. I went in through the shimmering door in the shed and happened upon two new friends.

    tumblr_static_8kd29pzyh7cwcs0480o08so04.jpg

A wise owl and a tiny mouse, who were deep in conversation. At first, they fell silent, but said that they were expecting me :? The Fox had told them of my impending visit. Did I tell him? Err, no. Anyway.
I was full of questions and was told to slow down and think about what I wanted to know.

Who mentored Tomicat - "a wise wizard, but he, or she, shall not be named. Their skills saved Hogwarts in times gone by".

She? "Yes, there are many wizards, do not assume that great wizards are all gentlemen. Of course, Merlin sits at the top of the tree and he looks with pride at the great wizards who follow his teachings. I remember Merlin as a child, at Hogwarts"

Can I ask how old you are? "of course, I am older than the forest that you are standing in".

I didn't ask how old the forest is, but we are going way back in time.

Who owns the wand and is it the elder wand that belonged to Harry?

"You know who owns the wand, he says little, but knows a lot" the mouse replied. "It is not the wand that belonged to Harry, there are many elder wands, all, save that of Merlin's wand, come from this forest".

"you must ask no more" said the owl, "let me sit on your shoulder and my friend will sit in your pocket and we can wander through the trees together".

It was lovely to walk, the air was cool, the smell of the forest was delightful, I could hear water in the distance, dappled light through the canopy of leaves.

"You and the fair maiden are very fond of this magical forest and you are both welcome to come and go freely, bring your friends too" I thanked them both.

"Things will become clearer, as the days go on, try not to guess the answers to your questions, it is a mistake that humans make all to often". :?
"walk three steps more and we will meet again". With that, I was at the shimmering door and back in the secret garden.

Goodness, it is an epic. Sorry if I have rambled on, I was a little lost in the woods, so to speak

For those still awake, I had better go and potter a moment, Pepe is looking at me with his "feed me" eyes.

Right, back into reality, we have had a pretty chilled out evening. B is very busy with his jewellery, not long now until the first Fayre.

Carol, I hope you cold is improving, Kerrin too, we don't want you poorly or coughing at the wedding.

Kath, having taken a bow, I trust the ouches are being contained. That seems to be the way we all have to travel, keeping a lid on our ouches, as best we can. I think Christine sent the Bush Babies over to you.

I have been through the sanctuary and all the lovelies are just fine, the super vets are on, doing their weekly checks on the animals and birdies. I seem to think there are more and more bush babies, Johnny must have been re homing some more, to keep up with demand for cuddles and healing paws.

Time I was not sitting any longer. So I will bid everyone a good night. I will post and then go find something nice for breakfast.
Take lots of care XXXX Aidan

Oh gosh how lovely strawberry and cream brioche for breakfast :) and thank you for our blessings the same wishes back to you Aidan :D

You did have a wonderful visit in the enchanted forest!! All the elder wands come from there?! and the owl was older than the forest? wow! Did you notice how young and healthy you were in there? How sweet having the mouse in your pocket he and the owl seem to have been waiting for you :?

I was pleased to hear that wizards are not all male very PC.

It sounds as though 'we' ask to much and want to know too much  about right eh? The answers will become clear..?? I am convinced that will be after Pepe and Miss Slimkins' advanced test on Thursday.

Lucy has almost got rid of her cold thank you well done her.

Do you think Mum and Dad are being deliberately tight-lipped about the injections because they want to manage on their own? So long as they would say if they were struggling.

Enjoy the GC this morning it's a lovely day and a good thing BIL and SIL have not brought a cold over to infect Mum and Dad. Colds are lingering a bit ATM - look at Kerrin!

Kath's poem was great wasn't it? She is very talented with her poetry :)

The Rev Delphine is very well thank you and most definitely looking after her flock with her usual humour and kindness :)

How long is it until the first craft fayre then? I suspect B is all ready really and has plenty of stock to sell :)

The gardener will be back to fill the hole, but first it needs to dry out (the wall) because the soil was far too deep in there above the height of the grass. Luckily it's the sunny side. I may be able to grow some roses too up the wall as well as Wilhelmina :)

I have been looking around and gosh....lots of extra bush-babies in the Zoo!! all with distracting faces and healing paws :D:D:D

A wave to Joan g025.gif I hope all is well with you all. I would miss the café too very much and all those who pop in regularly or occasionally for a cuppa and natter.

    Love to everyone else

Afternoon to one and all, bright day, breeze has picked up so I am not melting, yet
Thoughts go to the people of Texas who have faced the wrath of the huge Hurricane, recently, so much rain it is almost unbelievable that it can rain 30 inches plus.

The brioche looked wonderful Toni, so I thought it would sit well, for breakfast this morning :) Along with the Blessings for the week.

I was in the forest for ages, but no times had passed when I cam back through the secret garden. I was trim, no pain, no graunching of joints. Shall we all move:)

I think their general roundabout way, is saying that we are asking too many questions, when the answers are staring us in the face at times.
I think so much will be revealed after Pepe and Sleek come back on the 1st Sept. I am sure they will pass, they have been out over Pendle, playing quidditch and then dodging the spires and the castle over Clitheroe, whilst going at a fair rate of knots. Speed and agility are essentials for quidditch and it will not be the same as the games they play on the Hill.

The mouse was adorable, he had a wand, a teeny tiny wand. The owl didn't have one, but I am sure he could cast spells just by thought, he was very wise indeed, a gentle soul.

Of course, there were many wizards at Hogwarts who were ladies. Remember Minerva, the deputy Headmistress, who could transform into a cat?

Good to hear that Lucy is getting rid of her cold. Are we all booked in for our flu jabs yet, talking of colds and flu ?

I am sure Mum and Dad want to manage on their own and don't want to put us out in any way, (which they would not be doing, as we keep saying to them). We would be cross if we found out that they were struggling. I remember my Mum and Dad were terrors for not letting us know if they were struggling   what can you do, only your best.

Mum said the DNurse is coming tomorrow, to check up how things are, so that was new news. We said that's good, but left it at that and didn't ask any more.
Both of them seemed confused as to what day it was and rather disinterested generally. More fatigued I think.

A friend of the family is coming over tomorrow, plus the D Nurse, then they both have to give blood at the surgery - we will see how it all pans out. :?

The GC was fine, our lady who makes the best coffee, was off, but both large cups were fine, with extra shots :) The scone was enormous and very nice indeed. Mum had a tiny bit of a lemon meringue slice, Dad ate the rest

I love Kaths poem, she is indeed a talented lady.

I am happy to hear that the Rev Dephine is well and tending her flock. Humour is essential, alongside kindness and caring.

Just less than two weeks to the first fayre   He is super busy and has built up an impressive amount of stock, amazing to think he has done it all off his own bat. The first fayre is always an unknown quantity, but I am sure it will go well.

The wall will be pleased to get some air, if the soil was too deep anyway. The sunny side, the wisteria will love it, as will some roses, climbing up the wall too, keeping them tamed of course.

It is a good job we have an increasing number of Bush Babies, if we all have bad ouches at once, they will be here, there and everywhere :o

Hi Carol, I think we need to pop into the shed and gather some more hours, we loose them all too often.
With Church in the morning, then visitors in the afternoon, the next time you look at the clock, you think, ok, where did Sunday go.

Hope you enjoyed your ride out to Richmond, B knows it well, he was born and raised near there.

I hope your cold has gone and that Mr T is on the mend too. Counting down the days until you trip off to Margate and Mr T goes North, to Lidisfarne.

Hi Barbara Hope you are mending well and your confidence is building up, with many ((())) and hand holding with the bush babies.
I wonder if Andy will retire you know, with wife and baby and enough money to live comfortably, we will see at the end of the year I guess. The US Open starts today, so we will be watching as much as possible.

No, I would not like to be responsible for someone else's pets, I would be uber cautious and have them at the vets every time they sneezed.

Don't worry about making this fayre, it will not be good underfoot, being an agricultural show, I am not looking forward to teetering on my crutches through the fields. The other one is in the hall, so that it far more manageable.

Glad the neighbours are home today, sigh of relief that all went ok.

No need to blush Kath. Your poems are lovely. Hope you are not too ouchy today, did you manage to get to the gazebo?
    Not too much walking though.

Hi Joan, our neighbour is much the same really, I have said not to let it go on, to keep on at the GP and then the hospital and get the hernia sorted asap.
I hope you are both ok and the lovely doggies. Out and about in the fine weather.

Kerrin will be very busy sorting and organising things ready for the Wedding :) all very exciting, hope the cough is going away.

Christine is passing all her exams. Are the Boss's family back from their holidays? Will there be a mountain of washing and ironing

Hi to everyone else too, leaving hugs far and wide.

Let me see what we have for afternoon T. XXX Aidan

Mig I would be looking forward to seeing my sister too - she's up in Fyfe and I am in the Midlands  Have a good time and it's lovey to see you :)

That's where she's been Aidan!! I was calling and calling and calling and finally Miss Slimkins arrived all flustered from her broom shed.

They really are very fast and the two of them MUST be on the same team (team-work is one of the skills they are looking for) as they are impressive :) I have seen a selfie video :)

I agree that we will find out much after they come back on the 1st. So the mouse had a teeny tiny wand? Ahhhh

    c025.gif

I doubt the Owl needs any help casting spells

I hope Mum and Dad are only tired not actually confused....they are proud people as were your parents and asking for help isn't easy. A close eye must be maintained at all times methinks.

They have a lot on tomorrow don't they? Even I don't like 3 things on in one day

A tiny bit of lemon meringue is better than NO bit of lemon meringue :)

Glad the GC was good. I have been busy helping Pom this morning wrap prizes for the next village's BBQ next Saturday. then my rota'd day for watering the Church plants. Deconstructed 2 hanging baskets saving the geraniums. Saw The Rev Delphine walking her little doggie :)

The wall is drying out and guess what? We have the added bonus of being able to see late summer sunsets too :D

The bush-babies are so sweet and they all love each other so much too have you heard them chattering and hugging? :)

The Fayre will go splendidly I know it will. Go B :D

Oh gosh that apple cake! With custard? Myabe...or cream???

Hi Joan No apt yet for your boots? Hopefully it will be soon then. Lucy's cold is almost gone thank you.

    Kath
you deserve the compliments. I hope you have kept a copy so you can post t again in the future it's so nice to have a poem about our café :D

Barbara I once looked after a neighbour's rabbit and you guessed it was dead when I got there to feed it

It was one of Lucy's friend's too :?

Ah yes roses and littlies...not so good ...I will climb them up the wall and have a deep-ish border in front.

I very much hope your neighbour has had a great hoiday and is feeling refreshed.

Hi Carol :) Sometimes you just don't have enough ours in the day with welcome visitors on top of Church.

I hope Richmond is lovely on a day like today it should be.

Please never worry about doing lengthy posts we all understand we can all be busy at times :)

Rightyho better ring Paul up in Inverness :)

    Love to all

    Evening to one and all.

Mig, good to see you. I am with you, it is very warm at the moment, feels like 100 degrees in the front room here. My fingers go all sausage like too  We can form a "we don't like the heat group".....Barbara doesn't like it too warm either, we all wilt.

Thank you for the heads up on the web site about Nottingham. I will take a good look at it.

We lived in Gotham for 17 years, then when Dad retired from his ministry at the Church, I moved to Carlton, right down the bottom end of Carlton Road.

I went to Bluecoat School in Aspley, then went on to do my nurse training at the QMC, also worked at the City Hospital. I used to know Nottingham like the back of my hand, but it will have changed beyond all recognition, I left Nottingham in 1989 and moved up to North Yorkshire.

I remember the Players factories well, huge places they were. Wasn't Raleigh bikes along that same road?

Seeing your Sister along with shopping and lunch is very exciting, where will you go for lunch? In town I assume. Enjoy :)

Yes, they were up on Pendle Toni, Miss Sleek said you knew where she had gone - telling little porkies me thinks

We can only assume that they will be on the same team together. I hope so  :? What if they are competing against each other   no, don't think about it and we won't mention the thoughts of that to either of them.

Yes, Bless the little Mouse, his little wand, I bet he could cast some good spells with it too. I am not sure if I dare go in to the forest, I don't want to appear to be pestering anyone.

I think both Mum n Dad were confused with the days, as are we all at times. Barbara and I are just the same. We will hope it was just that. Mums Brother and SIL are coming up mid week to stay until the week end, so that will cheer her up and keep them on their toes. Auntie J is a retired nurse, I think I said. We talk "shop" when we have a moment.

Yes, a little bit of what you fancy is better than nothing at all, you are quite right. Just wish Dad would stop hounding her about food.........

I trust Pom is ok, wrapping prizes, how nice, another BBQ, lovely. Will you be going?

Looking after the plants at the Church, all part of a proper village life, a step back in time really. Glad you spotted Rev Delphine, was she walking her doggy?

You can see summer, yes, late summer sunsets, delightful. We catch the sunset on Pendle, she glows orange and looks amazing.

I bet you are well pleased that the trees have gone. Big relief. The wall will soon dry out.

I am sure the Fayre will go well, it is the unknown bit that always gets you thinking. I might ask for some cloak duties, I know it is not a medical appointment, but a wee bit of support, never goes amiss :)

Oh, the poor rabbit, finding it deceased. And it was one of Lucy's friends, oh dear me............ :? :?

Paul is a long way away. It is many a moon since I went to Inverness. Miss Sleek was telling Pepe that Daddy had gone to another country, far, far away :? Too far to go on a broom even, bless, she does worry.
I think they are both very fond of the Bush Babies, as you say, they cuddle up so well, those big doleful eyes, little hands :)

I hope everyone else is ok, Kerrin, Christine, Carol, Kath, Barbara, Joan, Charrisse, Elizabeth and all.

All the lovelies are fine, the Super Vets said everything was ok, no ailments. The warthogs might need their tusks trimming next time. No, I am not offering to help

Trays of buns, fruit, hay, fish, mealworms, scorpions, pellets, milk bottles, voles, corn, bamboo.........all ready for the morning. Extra ice has been ordered for the penguins.

I will pop into the Secret Garden and while away some time.

    full-hd-garden-hd-wallpaper-3d2.jpg?w=1200

Let me think what is for breakfast today. Everyone take lots of care, rest well, Love XXXX Aidan

A selection of Belgian waffles, hope there is enough cream on !!
