Afternoon, just, hope all are as ok as can be. I wanted to put a picture or two on, this is the Church retirement bungalow that Mum n Dad had - mum loved her garden, as you can see.

Oh Kerrin, what a pretty photo. I think the only thing the pusscats can do with my laptop, is to take it up on their broomsticks (one at a time) and drop it from a very great height. :x GRRR
That zookeeper is a marvel, pity we can't hire him.
Talking about TV progs, we also watched all about partition. Such horrors went off then, and until recently, we never hears a thing about it. I cried for them. I think The British Government should apologise for causing it.
I've just had 3 breakfast muffins with mushrooms. :P"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to all, bright, sunny, but cooler than yesterday, thank goodness. Last night was super warm.
I think all the words have been said, regarding the loss of innocent lives to the hands of terrorists. So, so sad.
No worries regarding crumbs falling Toni, I am fine with the rechargeable vacuum, it is amazing. I cannot cope with the mains one at all. B has to deal with that.
You are doing a great job then, catering for your gardener, butties and lots of cuppa's. Mum did take a pride in her garden, until it all got too much for her and she began to resent it.
We are all spick and span in the sanctuary, well, apart from the warthogs who are slathered in mud
I asked Pepe about some nice chopped up raw mackerel, he went and had to lie down.
I think Miss Sleek was over early this morning, even though storms were lurking, she had them on radar on the broom, so could avoid them. Clocking up some miles up and around Pendle, chasing the sheep this time. Then they were down in the ravine. The wand was there, but, was always out of reach. Yes, Mr Tomicat is keeping secrets, that wand is quite advanced, Miss Sleek is uber envious, as is Pepe, but it will not let them touch it.
I think Kath wants them to take her laptop up on high and drop it   so I am assuming they didn't manage to fix it.
I was going to go through the shimmering door, but I decided just to gather some spare hours and leave further investigations to another day, or person :?
Those mugs, they are on amazon apparently, so I will be looking
Hi Joan, I am glad you are both connected to the internet now, strange that one person could be online and the other not. We are having a fairly lazy day really. A bit of pottering, fussing etc.
Hi Barbara, glad you didn't melt last night, I was ok when it was bed time, 2 ish in the morning.
Much fresher today, some heavy rain last night and this morning. There are some clouds about as black as your hat as they say.
Glad the link was of good use, I just spotted it by chance and thought, oh, Barbara will need this. Good that things are going to be in the local press. Let's hope for success and no more parking on the pavement
Mum was a proper fuss pot, never went anywhere in the bungalow without a duster or a cloth in her pinny. I am the same, except I look a right ninny in my pinny
We will check on Mum and Dad tomorrow when they pop in, I will ask her if she is up to speed with her insulin. Maybe suggest that the D Nurse pops in again.
Good that the alarms are on next door and your camera has arrived. Now to get it concealed.
Enjoy the muffins, I am about to put cakes out too.
Hi Kath, are you sure you want Miss Sleek and Pepe to drop your laptop from a great height?? :? :? They could play quidditch with it and catch it in their big nets.
The zoo keeper sounds remarkable, the world needs more and more people like him.
Yes, as a nation, we have done many bad things in the past, to make the Empire expand.
Hi to Kerrin, Christine, Mig, Charrisse, Elizabeth, Carol and all.
I had better post this, or it will vanish, or I will press the wrong button.
Everyone take lots of care XXXX Aidan
A nice Strawberry Shortcake with cream
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Thanks Aidan for the strawberry shortcake
Lovely
Diddicat has been actively researching that wand :? so far with no success she is going to ask Hermione....what she will say I do not now yet.
Maybe after their test they will be allowed access to such top-secret information...31st isn't it?
The cats are really unsure about Kath's computer you know....the ravine might be the place??? :? :? :?
Sleek can come and see her beloved you are right whatever the weather mackintosh sou'wester and galoshes along with her radar and she is good to go She has been teasing Pepe about maceral  Poor boy
I nearly braved the shimmering door too so nearly! I put a toe near and it sort of disappeared
Shall we try it together? Maybe I'll go through and you hold my hand incase I need pulling back???
I also have the rechargeable hoover and love it very much it does more than enough. The big one is hard work isn't it?
Oh I am being called must be off if anyone wants to I spotted this old TCT video of Lucy when she was on her treatment. She is on the back left 2 kids in all emotional.

A good evening to all, hope everyone is safe and ok.
Thoughts go to those who have died in Finland and those in Spain.
Also to Bruce Forsyth and his family, he had been poorly for some time I think. A legend of stage and tv, for decades.
You are welcome Toni, I could not resist the strawberry shortcake, it looked so good. I have had three, oops, sorry, one piece. :?
Pepe, Miss Sleek and Jericat, had a three way call to Hermione, but, the request for information about Tomicats broomstick and wand, were met with silence. :? :? She did say they could have a treat, for the week end, to visit any part of the UK that they wish, for one hour.
There are still discussions going on, as to where to visit. There are leanings toward the mountains in the Cairngorms, there could be some serious flying practice
They can go at 10, on Sunday morning and they will be transported back on the stroke of 11.
Miss Sleek was in awe, of course. Being granted treats by Hermione herself.
Hermione said she was looking forward to seeing them at Hogwarts on the night of the 31st. She will meet them at the station.
So Kath's Laptop is going into the ravine, maybe, just maybe, Tomicat's wand can help.
Miss Slimkins has been talking of mackerel heads and other bits of fish, much to Pepe's horror. If it isn't canned and labelled Tuna chunks, no drain, he doesn't want to know
Monday is looking very wet here, so galoshes and sowester will be needed for sure.
(If anyone just happens on our cafe world, they will think we have all truly lost the plot - but, hey ho, a little escapism if just fine).
I went into the shed, towards the far door, shut my eyes and went through. It is an enchanted forest
I just stood and looked, obviously someone lives in the tree and the owl was watching from the far tree. I heard nothing, but the colours were magical. I stepped back and I was in the shed again.
I wonder who lives in the tree? The door was open :?
Oh Bless, thank you for sharing the video of Lucy and the other young people going through treatment, I am emotional just watching.
Big breath ---
Next door has to go into hospital on Sunday, lower abdo pain, think it might be adhesions, or hernia, or nerve impingement. She has already had 12 adhesions removed already. I was on the phone for a while, she seems ok, just wants it sorting asap.
Neighbour opposite is off to hospital today, for a sigmoidoscopy, B will walk the doggie for them while they are the hospital. It's all going on............. :?
I hope everyone else is ok
Kerrin, that you your chest is improving and you feel better in yourself, busy away with the last minute wedding preparations.
Christine, do hope you are ok and not doing too much at work. We don't want any bad ouches.
Kath, will you be off to the gazebo and your fav eating pit stop? I bet their bacon butties are lovely, mmmmm If your laptop goes missing, don't worry, it is only in the ravine Or, it might be working fine.
I am sure Carol and Mr T will be enjoying the sunshine and time on board ship, new ports of call each day. Looking forward to seeing the pictures
Love to everyone else, here or not in at present.
Mum n Dad will be popping in for croissant and coffee this morning. We hope she has been resting as much as possible, dad is a terror for wanting to be off out and about.
time for another potter. Oh, when did the camels appear with the Okapi's? I just noticed humps, thinking that's odd and lo and behold, we have camels

It was Johnny Aidan I asked about the penguins and I expect it's the same answer....he rescues them and so we will from time to time acquire extra residents!!
(You are quite right people will think we are NUTTERS!!!! )
I've had some pastries thank you lovey
Your Mum and Dad's place looked lovely - the flowers!! I wish I had met your Mum she could have passed on a tip or two. Is that your Mum on the left behind some flowers?
So the door in the summer-house leads to an enchanted forest? wow!!! It looks fabulous! I might have to go an have a look :?
Diddicat was all floaty yesterday after her (their  ) chat to Hermione....so no news yet on the wand? Mmmmmm...hope Tomicat's mentor wasn't from Syltherin??? How old is Tomicat? that might help....could have been my old cat Eric catona or one of Skezier's :?
I am glad the computer hasn't gone down the ravine yet. Time maybe for Kath to get a tech in??
Anyway Miss Slimkins is all ready for Sunday's trip and absolutely wants to go to the Cairngorns. She thinks it might be near her Aunty Kari (My sister) and her pusskin Mrs D'arcy. She is a short-curly-haired cat who is grey and very vocal. Purrfect for Kari who has bad asthma.
Bit naughty of her to tease Pepe with talks of fish heads and entrails - he is strictly a canned tuna only kind of boy
Very sad news about Brucie, but terrifying incident in Finland those poor people. Not terrorist I hope at least.
I hope both neighbours will be ok as soon as possible ((())) doggie? Doggie smells coming into your house
Kath I didn't see the programme...was is about the partition of India?
The cats are offering to drop your computer over the ravine....??? I think you need a tech maybe now?
The breakkie muffins were fab, but have you tried the pastries this morning? To die for!!
Barbara what a way to gain weight syphoning animal milk
I am glad you will lose now though
Yes the trees will be down soon yippee!! Photos to follow of course.
I bet you feel better knowing the house is all alarmed and camera'd if the idiot visits he will be in a lot of trouble with there being an injunction.
Hah!!
A quick wave to Joan!!

Quiddich it is. Perhaps they could arrange a match between pusscats and Meercats.
Toni, yes. Anita Rani took part. Her grandpa's first wife threw herself into a well, to avoid being raped. Tragic. Other family members were massacred.
Aidan, we went to the gazebo, but Gary had to take it down, as it was too windy. Didn't want it to fly away and get tangled up among kitkats on broomsticks.
Poor Wilnelia, she will miss Sir Bruce. They were devoted to each other."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to all, hope everyone is as ok as possible. Sorry, I have completely run out of day. Will explain later, like emergency ward 10 here, with neighbours, ambulances, walking doggie, seeing to Mum n Dad this morning, who were all at sixes and sevens over insulin and needles - oh boy, what a day. Didn't get to bed until 430 this morning. Neighbour now in hospital, other neighbour back from hospital and mum n dad on strict orders that Matron will do the insulin up to Monday, then Dr must be seen ASAP.
Right, seeing as it is a little cooler and before the supposed heatwave, we could have something yummy Take care, will be back later. XXXX Aidan

Aiden, thanks for telling me about the spare hours in the secret garden. I’ll pop in and get some. . I keep forgetting to look out when I go to bed to see the Perseids. Probably won’t see much anyway with the street lights. I’m glad everyone had a good time for your mum’s birthday. I wish they would do more about Pavement parking. I’ve been complaining to the council for over a year and have phoned the traffic officer when I see them. Nothing has changed though. The bungalow is lovely. The garden looks great. You’ve had a busy time. Hope all your neighbours are ok.
Barbara, I hope your neighbour enjoys her cruise. She’ll be glad to get away for a while. I hope her husband doesn’t come back. It’s not something you want to be dealing with. I see you are training your OH to do the housework. My son said he made the bed today so my sister said she will send him a Blue Peter badge.
Kath, glad your laptop is up and running again. I’d be lost without mine. Just read it is playing up again. Hope you can get it sorted and the cats don’t have to drop it from a height.
Joan, how is your foot now? Do you still wear the boot sometimes? I’m with Virgin and can get the internet in any part of my house.
Toni, you’ve had family over too. Hope it was fun. Looks like the man has been working very hard digging out. Have they got the trees out now? Sorry you had to do my fruit round but thank you. Haven’t been in because my hands have been really sore. My eyes have been worse this week too. My sister has suggested a magnifier for my laptop. I’ll need to get in to town to see if I can find one.
Kerrin, I hope your cough has gone by now. Have you had your x-ray? Your hair looks lovely. Can’t wait to see you in your dress.
My tooth abscess has cleared up. The dentist told me last time I was there that she wouldn’t be able to extend the bridge as there are already 2 teeth on it. I’m positive I only had one tooth removed. I now have a wobbly tooth under that. Might need that out too. Fingers are really sore again. Keep dropping things. Dropped the cordless hoover on my toes yesterday. Ouch. Eyes are very blurry and watery. Have to keep mopping them. I did feel like crying yesterday at work but feel much better today just pottering and resting.
Some of the mess at work had been cleaned up but I found that Nonna (the kids’ Italian grandmother) had been in and sorted it all out. The son decided not to go back to uni for the week. He only went on Wednesday night and back Thursday afternoon. He’s been eating either the food she has cooked him or ordering takeout. I was going to do a wash but all his clothes are on his bedroom floor. Good news is plans for 90 houses in my son’s village have been turned down and the local private school have been told for a second time they are not allowed to build a bridge across the river. Last time they also asked to turn the wildlife area over the river in to sports pitches and a pavilion then they were going to sell the sports pitches they have now to a builder for another housing estate. There is already a bridge 5 minutes’ walk away. No-one living here supported it, only a few parents who live miles away.

How does that song go "oh what a night.........."
Now we are in the evening, so a good one to all. Finally, dare I say, some quieter time to chill out a little.
I hope everyone is as ok can be.
Phone rang, 2am, Sat morning, next door, crippled in right side abdo pain. One look from me and I said give me the phone, you need admission. Anyway, big do's and little do's, ambulances were stretched to limits, no doubt scooping drunks out of the gutter and making sick people wait. Sorry, ranting over.
I stayed until half past three, and she must have fallen asleep, so when ambulance control rang, her OH said she was asleep and didn't want to wake her.
We went to bed half past 4
Sat morning, next doors OH came round, she is still in agony, I said don't hesitate, ambulance. He called for one and they said someone would call them back, Dr I think, could be 90 minutes.
Oh no, that's not on says Matron. Called them back, my neighbour has already had one major heart attack and this pain in her abdomen is adding a lot of stress to her already damaged heart. Ambulance was here in no time. Admitted, awaiting scans tests and feedback from her OH.
Feedback is that scans are being done, nil by mouth, IV fluids ++ as her BP is super low.
Phone rings again, Dad this time. Mum is all in a state with her insulin, says it doesn't have a needle on it, there are no needles...........slippers on, get the car keys B we are off round the corner. Dad fit to be tied, totally confusing Mum. Have you had your insulin, yes, but the needle was bent :?
Anyway, we found the box of needles, I said, I will do tomorrows insulin and Mondays, by Monday you will have made an appointment to see your GP that day and he can trigger the District Nurses again, to come in every morning and administer your insulin and check you blood sugar and see how you are. All in all, not good, but she said she felt better than she did on Friday.
They still went out to the shops and called in on the way back, still pretty vacant and certainly a decline. I am thinking there is a lack of fluid intake as well, which will only make things ten times worse. (a very common problem )
Neighbour opposite came back from his appointment, all went ok, done sorted and happy that it was all over. Doggie was a good girl and B took her for a walk.
I think that's it. :?
So Johnny is taking in the rescue animals, that's just fine Toni, we have an endless amount of land and we can build more and more enclosures as required. The camels seem to have settled in, the Super Vets will be on tonight to check on all the newbies.
I think we are totally off our trolleys. So be it. We have enough to contend with each day, so a little imagination is a good escape.
Glad you enjoyed the patries, I have had one, I think it was one :?
Mum was very green fingered, she used to grow all her own plants, from cuttings etc. Do you know, I have never ever seen her in that picture, behind the little wall, well done for spotting her. Amazing.
The enchanted forest is amazing, I will pop in and take another peek, I want to see who lives in the tree.
Okay, so the house in the tree was no longer there, this time, a fox, who bid me a good evening and asked if I would like to walk with him a while. :? I thanked him and said I could not at the moment, but would be back again. He just smiled.
It is a very strange forest, not unfriendly at all, it just seems to change. Go see, you never know what you will find, or meet.
Miss Sleek was still a bit star struck, always is after a chat with Hermione.
The wand, no, no more news. Slytherin did produce some very proud wizards, wasn't Merlin one of them? Some were not so good. Tomicat is good, but is not telling of his tutoring. Me thinks he can cast quite powerful spells and transportation, hence he can be in the ravine in a flash, unnoticed by all. Eric Catona could well be sharing knowledge and skills.
I didn't hear reports of Kath's laptop being in the ravine, I hope it is working.
They are ready for the trip to the Mountains of Scotland. All weather gear packed, food supplies (mind you, they can cast a spell to get tuna and chicken). Not quite sure why they want so much luggage, for one hour. Anyway, ours is not to reason why. I have a feeling I know where they will go to. Just a hunch. Mrs Darcy has already been on Skype and she will meet them. Does she have a broom too? :? :?
I love vocal puskins, our Siamese you can have a full puskin conversation with her.
The attack in Finland was horrific, yet another today, in Russia this time.
I think we avoided doggy smells coming in, B was only gone a few minutes, and didn't linger. They were back shortly afterwards, from the Hospital.
Looking forward to seeing pics of the trees all gone.
Hi Joan, yes, Mum and Dad loved the Church bungalow, they could have bought it, over the 25 years that there were there, instead of paying all the rent. Never mind, that is in the past now.
I bet you enjoy your puzzles on the computer, they are wonderful things when they are working properly. We would be lost without them now.
That's good news Toni, to hear that Lucy is applying for part time jobs with her new portfolio, way to go team Lucy
Hi Kath, a game of Quidditch between the puscats and the merrkats would be a sight, they would need very tiny brooms.
It was very windy on Saturday, good idea to take the Gazebo down. Did you have a snack while you were there or was it too windy.
Dare we ask about the laptop :? :? or should we ask then run for cover
Hi Barbara, it has been perfect temperatures today, a good breeze with some showers and sunshine.
So you lovely neighbour is away now and will be on the cruise. I am sure all will be fine, you have all done what you can to ensure things are safe.
Oh we have had our share of ventures with our neighbours, many times, over the years, with one medical crisis after another.
glad you enjoyed the roly poly pudding. Reminds me of school dinners.
Feel free to wander through the shimmering door in the secret garden shed. It is magical and seems to change each time.
I love the picture of Jake, sitting on your feet, aww bless.
Hi Christine, nice to see you. You go on into the shed and take back as many hours as you can carry. There are weeks and days and hours, all in different parcels
I think we might be through the meteor showers now, on our journey through space. It was nice to see a few, little bits of magic dust.
The "do" went well at the week end, thank you. We are just concerned that Mum has quickly deteriorated within days. But, we are on the case. Matron is "on call". I am sure next door will be ok, I was very worried last night though, there is nothing I can do, hence calling for an ambulance, they can put a line in and give entonox etc, without a ward or a clinic room, I am a fish out of water in such cases. :?
Pavement parking is a pain, it is illegal, to block the access for a wheelchair or buggy and make them go round and into the road. :x
Sorry that your hands have been sore, I was wondering how things were. Your poor eyes too. Sending extra ((())) and the bush babies will pop over and hold hands, they have great anti ouch powers.
I have seen those big magnifiers, not sure if one like this would be of use https://www.completecareshop.co.uk/sensory-aids/magnifying-glasses-and-magnifiers/table-stand-magnifier
I am glad the abscess has cleared up, but now you have the issue with the bridge. Oh and a wobbly tooth, oh dear, you hang on to the bush babies (they need jammy dodjers though).
We were right to be worrying about you at work, no wonder you felt emotional if your hands are bad and your eyes are sore and running. Good that you could just potter today.
So the kids Gran had been in and cleaned up after them  now everything is strewn on the bedroom floor, well, he can pick it up, put it where is should be and then you can do the wash. Grrrrrrrrr
That is good news, no building of 90 houses. No to turning wildlife areas into sports pitches, excellent. I can imagine that no one was happy with the proposed planning.
Goodness, the time is marching on, after 1, no idea when I started to write this, I have been up and down so many times
I hope everyone has a good night. Take lots of care, love to all, in and out of the cafe.

I will have one with strawberries, bananas and chocolate spread on!! Thanks Aidan
I need all the energy I can get. I picked Lucy up last night after a night out with the girls at 3am
Gosh what a malarkey with your neighbour!! I am so glad he/she is now safely in hospital and will be sorted out.
So wrong that the NHS is put under strain by drunks :x real ill people have to wait for them :x :x
Now Mum is a-worrying me a bit :? . She is struggling now and you are 100% right to be DN in. I think that their input will a)help and b) ensure any 'problems' are picked up quickly including lack of fluid. This is for you and B ((()))
Well done B with doggie-duties and I am pleased other neighbour is A-OK
Super-vet pronouncing all animals well apart from the odd flea I expect and why shouldn't we add to our zoo?
I agree escapism and distraction are excellent for pain
Ah!! I bet it made your day finding your Dear Mum behind the flowers!!! She looks to have been a proper sweetie
Oh I can see the fox! The tree will no doubt come back to the enchanted forest when you need a chat maybe?
I braved stepping inside! I found myself on top of a sea of fluffy white clouds! They turned out to be made of candly floss and marshmallow so very tasty It was fabulous so comfy I could run! and bounce tigger was there bouncing and in the distance a glorious rainbow.....try as I might I couldn't get to it though?!
Miss Darcey does indeed have a broom...do you think she is joining them? Maybe not it might be a romantic trip for two unless Jericat is along anyway.
I really would not be surprised if Eric Catona did teach Tomicat he was a great flier and protector too so maybe.
If they want to take so much with them...well it is up to them I suppose I know their brooms are turbo charged to take the weight!! Bless them Diddicat is over exited and has her camera to take photos for Hermione (any excuse to speak to her again  ).
We aren't being given time to recover after each attack. It really is wicked though I am very pleased to hear they have the Finnish attacker. Poor poor people and their families.
Oh the trees Hummmph! After all the work the gardener did......he said he would have to come back next weekend to do it?! It was as though he was only pricing the job up! One chance now and that is it :x
Hi Christine That magnifier is a good one (I also use complete care shop they are cheap) but if you have a hobbycraft nearby they sell them too. It needs a daylight bulb to help your eyesight. I am so sorry you have been struggling so much recently I bet you felt like crying :? Could you afford to stop working/cut down a bit?
I see Aidan sent the bush-babies over bless him you need them now ((()))
Well done your nephew making his bed!! Miracles DO happen!! hehehe! No impressed bosses son relies on Nonna to pick up after him at his age!!
It's always good seeing family isn't it? The trees are still in, but very wobbly. We don't want to take the wall down though being too eager!
I will post a piccie when it's done.
I am SOOOOO veru pleased the houses aren't being built!! nature is being allowed some space Even better the greedy private school's plans have been scuppered too hah!
Barbara I love Jake-puss That video is one of the few ties I have seen Lucy cry you know. She has kept so much in bless her. Well she sobbed at pagan's funeral and was admitted herself the next day with a bad infection.
I hope the neighbour is having a fabulous break with her friend and the kids are ok too
I missed the jam roly-poly and it looked so light and fluffy!!
Kath it was India then and Pakistan So very sad I don't blame Anita Rani's GP's first wife killing herself! such dreadful things have happened
Safety first with your gazebo it can go up another day when it's less windy.
Do you thing Meerkats can play quidditch? I would love to see that
A quick hello to Joan who always pops in about the same time as me!! Lucy was dancing last night until 3am!! I had to pick her up I hope she gets a job too part-time for now will do. I hope the boot is made soon for your poor foot ((()))
Love to everyone

Afternoon everyone, a pleasant day, not too warm, nice gentle breeze.
Hi Joan I am sure next door is in good hands, they are waiting for the results of an ultrasound scan. So Oh will let us know later, how she is doing.
It is all the waiting about that makes time drag when you are a patient, I remember it well. Different when you are on the other side of the bed and always running out of time.
I hope they don't take too long with your new boots.
So, you had a late night as well Toni, pick up at 0300  help yourself to as many waffles as you can eat. Keep those sugar levels up.
Oh we are used to full on events with next door, from one thing to another. She will be fit to be tied and want to be home, but her BP was in her boots, (now back to normal), still has IV in and waiting for scan results, before moving forward.
We used to dread working lates or nights on Friday and Saturday, but now, it is every night, every week............people who cannot control their consumption and end up being scooped up by the emergency services. I had better not get started.
Other neighbour is fine, doggie is fine, barking happily on the decking.
Mum was much brighter today, more back to her recent self. She still wants the DN to come and do the insulin, she doesn't feel confident doing it, Dad said "I can do it" I said "NO you cannot"
Anyway, I did it and her BM is ok too. I could go round every morning and do it, but I would rather the surgery have that bit of daily contact and note any changes in awareness etc. Mum is happy to go to the Drs in the morning and get the DNurses back in the loop.
Thank you for the hugs, we have reinforced the need for extra fluids as well.
oh, a flea, right, I will get the keepers to apply drops and powders on all animals / birds, maybe not the warthogs. All bedding areas cleared, pressure washed and refreshed with new bedding materials. The meerkats were horrified to have drops put on, they examine each other very carefully for such things.
Well done for going through the shimmering door. It is wonderful in there, I am sure the tree house will appear again at some point. You saw the fox too
How many clouds did you nibble on running and bouncing along with Tigger. Ah, the rainbow, the end of the rainbow is always just out of reach.
Pepe was back by the time we got in, he seemed happy enough and had a set of bagpipes  :? I think they had been singing in the glens and yes, Miss Darcy was with them, on a lovely tartan broom. I hope Pepe is not going to practice the bagpipes
Miss Sleek did take lots of pictures, to show Hermione, as you say, any excuse - bless. All the food they took, had gone, Pepe said they gave some to some very large hairy animals with big horns. I am assuming some lovely highland cattle.
No, we are still reeling from all the recent attacks over the past few months. You do run out of words, just leaves you stunned.
What is the gardener playing at, not coming back for another week, rather pricing the works instead. Hmm, one chance indeed.
I think the bush babies are still over with Christine, she must have some sweet treats lurking.
You missed the jam roly poly, oh dear, I think it all went. oops
Hi Barbara enjoy the waffles, they are going fast, not sure who is eating them
I am glad we are close to Mum n Dad, B drives us round, but I can walk if I have to, although it takes me a while, even if it is no more than 50 yards.
I won't mention a quiet time again, ever.
Hope you are ok and keeping guard on next door. 8)
It is heading up to pills time. I need another potter about too.
Leaving hugs and hi's to everyone who are here or about elsewhere.
Time for afternoon cakes me thinks.

Hello Aidan Barbara Toni and anyone else I missed

Barbara I hope you've had a good day with not too much pain.
Toni now you need a good rest I bet Lucy enjoyed her time with her friends.
take care all

Hi Barbara! I am very very Zzzzzz....tired, but will survive.
It is lovely to see Lucy out dancing as she should have been before, but can now
You are right about Christine so long as we know she's ok that's all that matters.
I take it all is quiet at your neighbours'??
Hi Aidan Salted caramel cake? mmmmm..... thank you
I have felt quite faint today so extra cake and waffles was very necessary. I can't wait for bed tonight
I would be the same if I was 'in' hospital, but safety first if her BP was so low....IV is needed.
Yes they get inebriate almost every night now. They should have to pay! :x
That's exactly what I think Aidan let the DN have daily contact then they will spot changes quickly. I am VERY pleased t hear Mum is more herself though...phew!!
More hugs ((())) it's hard to drink when you feel iffy even though it's crucial :?
Have you just washed all the animals' bedding? blimey! I know you like keeping things clean, but good job we have industrial washers and dryers eh?
The meerkats are very
Oh yes the enchanted garden...I ate a little cloud of course - who wouldn't? The fox is sweet. I am going for a walk with him next time I see him
Ach! the Aberdeen angus!! Sounds like they had a great time out Mrs Darcy lives in Cupar Fyfe so was nearer and of course her broom is tartan
Miss Slimkins said Pepe is a 'genius' ha can play the catpipes!! She is uploading photos to show to Hermione  Still she is very patient with her and has a soft spot for our pusscats
I think Christine needs the bush-babies. I just need my bed!!
The tree bloke has one chance for definite Paul is cross, but we shall see. The gardener who has been all week clearing the roots of dirt was most unimpressed. He knows how to work!
Right I am having an early shower tonight I am shattered.
Joan Lucy had a great time thanks I can't wait for my bed!
Sleep well Aidan and everyone else!

Evening to all - are we expecting a mini heatwave  something to do with the hurricane in the Atlantic pulling up hot air. Let's hope it is not too hot or last very long. I sound like a right Victor Meldrew
Hi Joan - oh yes, there were always waves of different emotions when nursing, from roaring with laughter to bawling my eyes out, sometimes in the same day. I never regret going into nursing though, boy did you see all sides of life.
I can imagine you are wiped out Toni, I hope the caramel cake helped to boost the sugar levels. An early night will do no harm, says me who loathes going to bed at night, no matter how shattered I am.
Next door's OH said her BP was back to normal, she had the ultrasound scans, but were waiting results. I thought he might pop in when he got back home, but no news. All lights were out quite early, so I didn't want to disturb.
I am in complete agreement when it comes to people abusing alcohol and expecting to be aided by both the Police and the Ambulance staff, then the knock on effect to the Hospitals. I would not like to guess the number of beds blocked and medical staff hours, given over to treating such people.
Mum was adamant that she wants help from the District Nurses again, which is good, as you say, they don't need to be there long, but long enough to notice a change in condition.
Thank you for the extra hugs. I know the Bush babies are supporting Christine at the moment. But I will give the puskins an extra cuddle.
Yes, I did all the bedding, the washers are HUGE, so it was soon done, nice hot wash, we don't want any "lodgers" lurking. The meerkats have no need to be embarrassed, I have checked them all, along with one of the super Vets and they are flea free. So they are happy
Of course you ate a cloud, we all would. I will take a peek in a minute and see if Mr Fox is about. Let us know what he has to say when you go for a walk in the forest with him. He looks wise.
There is a different house in a tree this time. I was a little unsure about the bridge, but I did tip toe across and knocked on the door. No one came, but there was food on the table and a kettle steaming on the little stove. So someone is not far away. :? I only peeped through the window, then went back over the bridge and out through the shimmering door.
Miss Sleek was on the broom video at nap time, full of the joys of going up into the Highlands and meeting up with Miss Darcy. So Pepe can play the catpipes, we will see, when he tunes up next time. :?
I am sure Hermione will enjoy looking at the photo's, she does have a soft spot for puskins and Miss Sleek is her biggest fan. Pepe gets on well too, but he is not as clued up as to the going on of Hogwarts. I am not sure what they puskins have planned this week?
I bet Paul is annoyed, we would be too. One chance is quite enough. The guy who has cleared the roots has done an amazing job, just amazing, they are suspended mid air almost.
Sleep well.
I hope everyone else is ok, Barbara, hope all is quiet and calm
Christine, sending more ((())) and hope you and the bush babies are doing ok.
Kath, no bad ouches I trust, if you need, one of the bush babies will come over from Christines.
Kerrin I hope all things are going to plan, that your chest is a lot better now and you are feeling less jaded.
Carol has been away for two weeks now, I think a couple of days and she will be back on dry land.
Hi to Mig, Charrisse and all our other cafe friends.
I had better have another potter about. N Night to all, take lots of care XXXX Aidan

must not forget breakfast

XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Perfect Aidan!! Crepes for breakfast before I go off to get my hair cut
Good news is I got some sleep last night and feel a good bit less 'hung over' even though I hadn't touched a drop that's how I felt yesterday. Well 22 times restless 47 mins awake overnight so not too bad (courtesy of my fitbit)
I agree the DN give an objective opinion which will help. You are very likely to spot any issues (ever the professional), but families can worry too much or overlook signs of change as you know.
I expect next door's OH was too worn out to speak and you will hear today.
Pusskins are on standby for extra hugs Miss Sleek has informed me that all 3 of yours (plus her she said  ) are happy to help.
Those washers are fabulous I had a look especially the disinfectant wash. Meerkats all clear? Good I bet they are relieved
You don't think Mr Fox knows anything about Tomicat's wand do you? :? You found another house, but no-one at home :? Mmmmm.....I shall pop in later haircut this morning (roots remember!!). A bridge?! Oh I would love to tip-toe across a bridge....hopefully no trolls underneath? "I am a troll fol-de-rol..."
I think the pusskins do need to get over to see Jericat for a flying lesson this week or two...and are still on standby to throw Kath's computer over the ravine....some quidditch practise too.
Miss Sleek loves Pepe so much and says he can play the catar as well (guitar) and the violin. I don't envy you any practise sessions
Apparently Hermione loved the photos so much from their trip to see Mrs D that she is going to allow them another trip next weekend. Their last before their advanced test on 31st
They aren't allowed to go to the moon or any of their other silly ideas though
Well I will wave again to Joan
Love to everyone
Toni xxx0
