Evening all
oh my what a week we have had here been hectic just to give you an idea of events
on Tuesday just after we got into bed we had a small cat come jumping through our bedroom window only thing was as we have wooden blinds that open like doors and the poor thing got trapped between the door and the window when Mr T opened the blind it shot out like some maniac and hid behind a washing basket in the kitchen tremble. Mr t said I know we wanted a cat but not someone else's . and today well that has been too bad to even think about. started with Mr T received a call from someone saying they were from the tax criminal investigation office telling he owed tax of an amount over £4.000 and that he could either go to his bank and pay it straight away or the would send a policeman around with a warrant to arrest him. didn't pay but checked with police only to be told it was a scam and the police had already had complaints about this telephone number. :x the day went from bad to worse after that. only 2 sleeps now till I see my family although thought I was not going to get there as I found out today there are no trains on my usual route on Sunday but have found out now that I can go the slightly longer way round so that's ok. oh boy all these things are sent to try us. will be glad when the day ends.
Have been to see all the lovelies tonight and all seem happy an content.
ToniRichmond is lovely depends where you live you may well have gone through there on the way from Wimbledon. I am fully expecting that both GGD'S like the Teddy i'm fully expecting to be making another. losing posts really annoy me. :x
Aidan the Key lime pie was yummy . yes can already guess I will be knitting another teddy as I said to GD if they fight our it I'll knit another yay I see the puskins passed I excitement all round. Richmond is lovely down by the river. ooh Teddies made of llama and Alpaca wool.
Barbara Ted is finished ready to go and I fully expect to have to make another one when I get back home yes Richmond is very nice especially by the river.
ooh yummy scrummy chocolate Lava cakes Aidan
must go for a little potter before bed so night all sleep well if you can.Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Evening (just) or Morning, to all. A nice moon shining down tonight.
Oh dear Barbara, castrations on the train, no dear, no.......too funny. We won't mention the mis reading to the puskins, I am sure Pepe would faint, maybe Miss Sleek too.
Yes, there is a statue, if you Google St Aidan and Lindisfarne, you will find pictures there. I have a few, I will hunt one down and post a link.
I am sure your support was very welcome, for your neighbour and the children. I know you will be worrying. Let's hope it can be sorted without any more performances from the soon to be ex.
Don't worry about the notes, Pepe and Sleek are on the case and they will cast a spell of tunefulness which will last two hours a week, just in time for choir practice
We will assist Toni with the tusk filing, I think Toni said it is scheduled for Monday. If we go in with riot shields, we should be fine  :?
You are welcome to the hugs, they are free and always available, if no one is around, there are some in the secret garden, in the shed, alongside the spare hours
Those chocolate lava cakes are oh so good. Enjoy. Any news about the road and the speed limits?
I see you are having all three options with the lava cakes Toni and why not I say.
Indeed, Tomicat is a Hogwart student, now in his final year. Minerva is a great teacher and a very powerful wizard. She hides a gentle side to the usual frosty Headmistress role.
Wasn't that the most perfect smile from Miss Sleek, Pepe was all coy and rolling and gliding.
All the puskins passed, some only just managed to get through, but were allowed into the hogwart school. All the practicing that Sleek and Pepe had done, really paid off. Circling the parapets and diving and climbing so high, they really did put on a show
Pepe has his wand under his pillows, which levitated while I was settling down to nap  frightened me silly  The new broomstick is in the hall cloak cupboard, when you go to open the door, it starts to hum........... :? :? as you say, they are only receptive to their rightful owners.
You will have seen that Pepe and Sleek have arranged the spell of tunefulness for Barbara, so the singing will be stunning.
The bamboo will grow like mad, with a magic rain cloud over it. Blush will be so pleased.
They are both very tired tonight, :animal_busy: :animal_busy: after all the adventures, I am not surprised.
Mum's blood results were ok, slightly aneamic, so Dr has started her on some iron tablets, apart from that, all was fine She sounded quite upbeat tonight, which is always good to hear. Dentist on Tuesday for her crown re fitting.
There could have been a Patronal ceremony, I would have been most honoured.
Carol, what a time you have had, I read about the shocking scam on your FB post, people will stoop to any lengths to try and trick people into parting with money. HMRC must be aware of it I am sure. You did right telling the Police.
And a puskin flying through the window, goodness, all three of you must have had a shock  Has the puskin returned to its owner, or has it taken up residence? Bless.
Then thinking you would not get to your family, as you say, these things are sent to try us. I am sure we are all taking a constant test in life.
Glad to hear that you can get there in a slightly more roundabout route. Only 2 more sleeps, I bet you cannot wait.
I am certain there will be more teddies and yes, alpaca and llama wool would be very nice indeed. I am sure GGD will love ted and you GD too me thinks.
Enjoy all the cakes, not all at once though we don't want you queasy.
You rest well too, after the day you have had, I am sure you need to.
I will just see what is happening in the enchanted forest
It seems there is much enjoyment and excitement in the forest, which is hardly surprising. Wonderful.
I had better have another potter. Pepe is watching me and using his telepathic powers to move me into the kitchen to feed him again
Well, the time has run away with me, that was a longer potter than I intended.
Hi to Kerrin, is today the BIG day? Super exciting.
Hi to Christine, Kath, Mig Charrisse, Elizabeth DD and all..............
Time for a cuppa and sleeps, we are off to sunny Skipton today, to meet up with a friend who I have not seen in goodness knows how many years, should be fun
Take care everyone. XXX Aidan

Mmmm...Eating pastries and talking with my mouth full again
Carol aw the poor little kitty!! Did you find her home? What a shock about the trains. I had heard that some aren't running over the bank holiday, but stupidly assumed it was up here not your way. So long as you can get there that's all that matters.
I also think both girls will love the Teddy and you will be making a sister-bear when you come back I bet you cannot wait now. It will be one sleep now?
You did well not to pay those scammers I am furious :x :x :x
Aidan! riot shields!! Of course!! Great idea I feel much better now, but had planned to ask Miss Slimkins to hypnotise them?? (no castration    ) or something like that????
Ah I see now how they got their distinctions all the practising paid off then She did have such a smile. Mind you she was exhausted all day - was Pepe too?
His wand is under the pillow! Aww!! with his light sabre? The brooms do hum a bit scary the first time eh? :?
How kind of them to arrange a spell of tunefulness for Barbara for choir practise. She will be chuffed to bits
You are right about the bamboo! Blimey it's growing fast it will give the older stuff chance to re-shoot
Good news Mum's bloods were pretty good I bet they are feeling more upbeat...all blood tests are a thing to fear in their position...now all is well Crown fitting now great, but again a good thing she can smile even more!
Next year if you remind us Barbara and I will sing you some songs and d you a little patronal ceremony of your own
A quick hello to Joan. I hope all is well there with you all - any new on the boot yet? I hope no-one has forgotten you :?
Better get on we have a man coming again today to start the sloped access to the house

Evening all
All packed and ready for the of tomorrow looking forward to it. at least I wont have to repeat everything I say over and over again because Mr T does not hear me. makes me laugh really as he gets annoyed if he has to repeat anything he says to me tells me I need my ears tested funny I can hear everyone else but he wont have it that he has a very quite voice. He has really tested my patience today.
Aidan these scammers don't get passed us we thankfully both know not to fall for it and are very cautious about things like that. I feel sorry for the elderly people who do fall for it. the flying puskin did give us a bit of a shock Mr T put it back outside after calming it down and we have not seen it since so hopefully it found its way back home.
Yes its a good job there are about 3 ways I can go to Margate but I like the route I usually take. at least I can come back home that way. Spoke to Mr T about St Aidan and yes he knows all about him.
Toni yes both girls will like teddy I expect so yes I will probably be making another. but I have a couple of other patterns for toys that I am going to take and show Lillie to see if she wants a bear or one one of the other things I show her the pictures of.
Puskins was put outside after we had calmed it down so hopefully it found its way home think it just see and open window and jumped in. scammers don't get passed us too clued up on they way they operate.
Joan your right about the scammers actually they put the phone down on us after intense questioning from me. and then Mr T said went to the police to check it out.
Kerrin I hope you have a fantastic day and congratulations.
Barbara yes the always decide to do rail works around this time during the summer holidays and people going or returning from holiday and then Christmas time.
Toni yes cats jumping through you bedroom window just as you are falling of to sleep is no fun but think the poor cat got more of a shock as our blinds are these ones that are like shutter and they close with doors so the poor thing got trapped between the two. I heard the noise as it jump into the window and saw its shadow. this is rail replacement and is only for the day I think. as I can come back on Friday my usual way. hope Lucy enjoys her evening out. and you do get some sleep.
well must love and leave you will pop in again soon.
sfl sfl2Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Carol you have a fabulous time and store up memories and photos to bring home with you
I wonder whether Lillie will see another toy you could knit her?
I am glad pusskin was ok and settled and hopefully went home!!
Scammers beware!!!
I am sure Lucy will have fun at least she has a friend coming home with her.
I hope Mr T has a restful time on the Holy island too
See you Monday Barbara!! well ok tomorrow Lovely t have a wedding wasn't it?
Love

Barbara, I hadn’t thought about something happening to other people’s pets when yoou look after them till you mentioned it. I was supposed to look after my son’s dog a couple of years ago when they went on holiday. Unfortunately, she died a few days before. Just realised it could have happened while I had her. When I go to donate blood, they tell everyone to drink plenty of water before going them to drink a huge glass of water while waiting to go in, a cuppa after then keep drinking for the rest of the day so it must help. Your neighbour is very lucky to have you to support her. She’s obviously been and going through a very rough time.
Aiden, good to know there are more bush babies. It was difficult for them last week having to be in so many places at once. Yes, my boss and his family are home from their holiday. The 15 year-old’s bedroom has exploded already but I’ve got through most of the ironing done. So Bill is doing a fayre soon. Hope he sells plenty. He has been working so hard on his jewellery. What a carry-on with the door bells. I did read somewhere about that happening. Thanks for letting us know about Kath’s Talk Talk problems. I’m glad mum’s bloods were ok and she is feeling upbeat. I saw the picture of you and your friend on FB. How wonderful to meet up after so long. It’s the 50th anniversary of when I first met some school friends. We still meet up every now and again.
Mig, I get sausage fingers when it’s too hot. Makes it difficult to use them, doesn’t it? It’s not stupid at all getting excited about meeting up with your sister. It’s a good thing. Glad you had a good day. I wear skinny jeans but am thinking of replacing them with something looser as I can’t get them back off very easily. You should definitely wear them though.
Toni, how lovely to be able to see the sunsets now. There have been some wonderful ones here. Lucy is going out late. I don’t think I have ever gone out later than 9pm and always been ready for bed by 11pm. Hope you do get some sleep.
Carol, teddy’s finished now. It’ll be lovely to see a picture of him, or is it her? I read on FB about the scam phone call from the tax office. Just as well you realised. What happened to the cat? Did he go back home? Just read further down that you put him outside so he’s probably home now after his shock. You’re all packed and ready to go in the morning. Hope you have a lovely time.
Joan, it sounds lovely wandering around the woods with the squirrels running about. Pity it gets muddy in winter.
Kerrin, how did you find the time to call in to the café? Hope you had a wonderful day. Congratulations to you and your husband.
Quite uneventful here. Managed to get the edges trimmed in the back garden and taken some of the excess irises down to my boss's for the gardener to put in. My daughter has handed in her notice at work. I think it was getting to be too much commuting an hour and a half each way and having to arrange child care after school and during holidays. Most of what she earned went to pay for that. Just watching a programme about what goes on in the background on long haul flights from London to Sydney. Interesting to see what goes on. And just realised it is way way past my bedtime.Christine0 -
Evening to all, gosh, I seem to have a lot to catch up on, I will see how far I get.................
A lovely day, catching up with my old bestie, lots of coffee, toasties and cakes and more coffee
Toni I had the robot vacuum running while you were having your pastries, we like to keep tidy
I am sure Miss Sleek could cast a spell of calmness over the warthogs, that and the riot shields and we should be fine, I think :?
Pepe has been exhausted, after all the super excitement of hogwarts and passing with distinctions was the icing on the cake.
He likes the wand under his pillows, they keep rising slightly and he has been practicing with his wand, he made the pillows vanish  but he got them back again
I am assuming they have been out on their brooms today, while we were out, it was behind the bedroom door tonight, I thought the vacuum was humming, I was going to move it, but it fizzed when I tried to pick it up :? :? I am sure it will get used to us and allow us to move it about.
I am sure Barbara will be singing like a skylark come choir practice, but from what I read, she is not convinced we may need a three way spell with Tomicat.
The bamboo has grown two feet since last night, that is some rain cloud that Miss Sleek has conjured up. Blush won't mind, he will be in his element.
Yes, it was good to hear that Mum's bloods were ok, apart from her heamaglobin being down a bit, which is not unusual for people of a certain age, let alone having the diagnosis she has. We will see them tomorrow when they pop in after lunch with BIL and SIL. More cakes no doubt
Ooh, a slope to the house, excellent, we had ours put in as part of buying the park home. Would not be without it. Bill has to keep it slated in winter, as decking is slippy when icy and no, I am not putting a picture on of me walking like a ninny in snow
Hi Joan That's nice that the geese take food from people and the traffic has to stop for them, as it should.
So have they got to make the boot after all the measuring? I assume they have waited for any swelling to go down? I hope you don't have to wait too long.
Yes, Mum n Dad IL are wonderful, even though Dad drives us batty sometimes. We make sure they are ok and they know that they can call on us any time, we are only a few yards away from their park home.
Mum is an inspiration, given the diagnosis from the Consultant 18 months ago...........
I hope you Sue and the doggies are all ok and managing to get out and about.
I hope that Kerrin and he Hubby have had the most wonderful day, been thinking of you both and sending lots of love and hugs ((()))
I did hand some cake round, hope you don't mind :?
Hi Barbara, ok we will try a stronger spell of tunefulness, I will ask Pepe to arrange a group meeting of the puskins on Pendle, to give the spell extra oomph.
We have Jane ready to watch, we are all tennis at the moment, with the US Open. Cannot wait to watch it though, loved the last series SO much, she is just lovely and so funny.
Pepe and Miss Sleek are over the moon, tired today, but still amazed and excited.
You are welcome to the hugs, the bush babies will pop over today and have a little cuddle and hand holding, never goes amiss. You have known the neighbours for a long time, but your Mum was right, no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. Life takes such strange twists and turns.
Your hat looked lovely, very Carmen Miranda So much fruit.
I hope you enjoyed your curry, I would have popped over had I known
SO Barbara's singing was good then Toni, errr, well that's great, but the puskins have just cast a stronger spell now, so hang on to your hats next choir practice, the windows might go
Pepe has been gliding and rolling too, full of it when we arrived home........."look at me I am a Hogwarts scholar" bless em.
It was great to catch up with my friend, we all had such a laugh and will meet up often now
So Lucy and her friend will be in around 3-4 ish. I am sure you will sleep like a log - NOT. Like the new FB photo
Hi Carol, I bet you are all excited and ready for off, safe journeys.
You will have to get one of those huge ear trumpets and leave it lying around, so that Mr T gets the message Glad your patience held out though.
It is rotten when people fall for the scams that go around. We sometimes get calls from "our internet providers" They don't like it when we call them liars. People have lost so much money, how those scammers can sleep at night I do not know.
Glad the puskins calmed down and I hope it went back home, a little wiser, not to jump through windows onto wooden shutters.
Mr T knows about St Aidan, that's very nice to hear I hope he has a peaceful and enjoyable time on Lindisfarne.
Take care and have a wonderful time with your family and the little ones ((()))
Hi Christine We are very well stocked with Bush Babies, thank goodness, there are many hugs needed, often at the same time, so they can go their separate ways, to help everyone.
I thought the youngsters bedroom might well be a tip, but good that you have got a lid on the ironing. Do they have a press, or an ordinary iron?
Yes, the fayre is next Saturday, a bit of an unknown quantity, with it being the first one, but I am sure it will go well, he has worked so hard with all the making of every piece.
It was lovely to meet up again, you meet up with your school friends. Sadly I have not kept in touch with anyone from school days, but lives move on and people move around the globe.
I don't like my picture from today, I look like I am on the floor, lol.
You have been trimming the hedges, steady, we don't want any ouches.......
Good that some of the irises will be put into a new home at the Boss's house.
I don't blame your Daughter for giving up her job, with all that travelling and nearly all the money earned, going on child care, it just doesn't add up really.
I hope she finds something closer to home.
I bet that was interesting to see what goes on, on the long haul flights to Australia etc. I know the crew have little beds to sleep in. Sleep, on a plane, no way, I had to grip the seats the whole time
Well, it is going up for one in the morning so I had better move myself and have another potter.
Kath says that the TalkTalk engineer is coming on Monday, so fingers crossed they can sort out their internet for them.
I will have a quick drive through the sanctuary and see the lovelies are all ok, I know they are in safe hands with our keepers.
I must pop back into the Enchanted Forest as well, I will go in tomorrow and see what else I can glean.
Lots of love to all. Everyone take lots of care, XXXXX Aidan

It's official.......I'm now Mrs.
The wedding was just perfect (apart from the sore feet) great weather, good company, yummy food, hubby and his daughter bonding with his son he hasn't seen for a year.
But now back to reality with a bump. Haven't slept well for 3 days including last night and it's back to school tomorrow. We will be having a belated honeymoon/special holiday at a later time.
Will catch up with everyone's news soon. Been a bit out of it for the last month! But I do believe Tomicat still being very secretive.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 -
Oh Kerrin!!
I am so very happy for you both Sounds like a perfect day
I hope you manage to rest rest rest until you are back to school...did you really say tomorrow
Honeymoon can wait you are officially MRS!!
read back when you have time - it turns out Tomicat is a rather accomplished cat alrady having passed his advanced test a time back.....under Minerva of Hogwarts no less!!
Morning Aidan Danish pastries for breakfast with the vacuum running please
Miss Sleek is also exited and like Pepe practising spells. They are allowed to do that I believe it's not wasteful at all. She hasn't 'vanished' anything yet nut has been levitating a bit. Mmmm...her cat house and scratch post so far.
I'm glad Pepe got his pillows back  10 to 1 he was a bit worried there for a minute
They were definitely out early this morning she got off the bed about 5am when Lucy got home, but was back for 7am when I got up
Gosh that bamboo!! It's great we'll get her to move the cloud on now it could fill the pools for a while??? Blush can get started
A 3-way spell has to make Barbara sing like a skylark doesn't it? Perfect
Yes low haemoglobin is not unusual and easily remedied enjoy your cakes and seeing Mum and Dad later
The slope has started with some drainage first it will be cement to match the rest of the driveway. No ninny photo?? Yah boo meanie fair enough really I wouldn't either.
Slopes are a great idea I think all new homes ought to be built with them.
The FB photo was really just me adding the surround to support children with cancer month. So sad Your friend looks lovely and smiley. Better not be 22 years next time don't you think
Lucy got in at 5    All too much for this old lady, but still. the lad who fancies her was there too I will find out more later. She has come back with his jacket on!!
Same gliding as Miss Sleek then Pepe has been doing Look at me! Look at me!! and the happy chirruping too with a fair bit of :animal_busy: :animal_busy: :animal_busy:
Must get on it's village clear-up and it's threatening rain today
Christine!!! Lovely to see you Definitely good that the Dog died with your son for him as well as you. Imagine the guilt he'd have felt?
On the subject of doorbells....Lucy's baby monitor (when she was teeny tiny) used to cry, but it was another baby. Spooky it was
Skinny jeans are no good with swollen ankles/knees so I have both those and relaxed fit too.
Lucy is home, but not till 5!! I will sleep tonight after our fav programme ATM Victoria she and I love it
I haven't managed much gardening for a while due to the men doing our slope and widening the dive slightly not to mention removing the conifers!! the sunsets have been fabulous haven't they?
I hope you aren't too achy? If I lived nearer I would have had some of your irises
It sounds as though your daughter has made a good decision there I hope she feels as though a weight has been lifted off her shoulders
Best get on now will shower AFTER the village clear-up I think.
Hello to Joan!! We are expecting rain - I hope after the village clear-up. Fingers crossed you take the dogs out before you get any
Love to everyone

Aidan I have just found a site to buy my favourite cherry flavoured teissierre squash in the UK!!!
Exitement!!! I have 10 bottles coming on WEDNESDAY!!
They probably sell chat washing powder too. Miss Sleek and Pepe would approve;)

Well good morning Mrs Kerrin and Mr Kerrin I am so glad that everything went to plan and worked out perfectly.
Time to do a lot of resting today, term time soon comes around :? Extra hugs for feeling less ouchy and more human. I will send some bush babies over.
There is plenty of news, but don't worry now. Tomicat is a great scholar taught at Hogwarts by Minerva. They can all cast helpful spells now and have new brooms and wands, Pepe and Miss Sleek are so chuffed.
5 in the morning Toni, wow, that is late, early  I remember the days I could do that and then work a 12 hour shift.
I am sure you need to catch up with sleeps later.
Nice to hear Miss Sleek is levitating her bed and post I think they have been asked to practice that spell and perfect it before moving on to others. Pepe was glad he managed to get his pillows back - I suspect Hermione my have helped, as he had no idea where he had sent them
I did hear rustling and fizzing, early hours, so I guess that is when they were out on their brooms, it is windy, but I think the new brooms are fully stabilised for all weathers. I guess they went up to Pendle, but not sure, he is asleep at the moment.
The cloud will be great over the pool for the penguins, seals and also the warthogs. Tusk day tomorrow
Will see how mum dad and b and SIL are this afternoon. We have just seen them go past, on their way back from Sainsb.
Yes, I noticed the surround on your pic, it is indeed very sad.
Oh my Friend is totally smiley and we laughed to much, it was just like years gone by.
Busy in the garden then this week, slopes, drainage ...........how is Bot coping?
I see Lucy came home with an admirers jacket on  Do find out more, we need to know.......:)
Hope you dodge the rain for the village clear up.
Hi to Joan, Barbara, Christine, Carol, Kath, Elizabeth and all. Will pop back in later this afternoon, well, that's the plan.
love to all, Take care XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I know very little more, Aidan ,about the admirer other than his name - Sam and that he has a job (good).
I shall set Miss Sleek on the task - Lucy talks to her
Gosh the little cloud has done a fabulous jo on filling all water holes ponds etc I think we should keep it
l know tusks tomorrow :?
We dodged the rain this morning at the clear-up. We checked on our 4 graves removed any weeds then we cleared around the small tree again. Finally we tackled some plantain growing in the lawn. It's riddled with them so every month we are removing about 30-50 randomly so it doesn't look odd.
I think they are learning levitation and will soon be able to levitate themselves. Miss Sleek can go up by about 1/2 an inch, but said Pepe is sacred he'll fall off. When she's got the hang of it she'll hold his paws and help him
Have a good day hope all family are well.
How long until the fayre???
Love

So Lucy's admirer is Sam, he has a job, very good and a jacket As you rightly say, Miss Sleek will get the lowdown, so that we can give marks out of 10 for suitability
We can keep the cloud, if we ask Miss Sleek to park it over the stream, then we won't be flooded out, boy can that cloud rain  I think it contains a little magic in the raindrops too, to make the bamboo grow like the clappers.
Plantain in the lawns, grrrr, horrid to get out without leaving a patch, wise to remove at random each month, what about feed and weed, that's really good for getting rid of them.
Levitation, Pepe is getting better, he floated down the hall earlier, about two inches off the ground, much to the surprise of his Mother  :? I am sure if they concentrated their wands, then we would all end up in the air.
Family have been and gone, Dad managed to launch the plates of cakes over the settee  :? Good job it is leather, so when everyone had gone B took all the cushions off and gave it a good wipe with leather cleaner and a very big vacuum.
Now Neighbour has just gone and I am all out of time, fading and need to have a lay down. So I will carry on again later.............Hi Barbara and Joan, will catch up later, best be leaving some cake, for T.
Everyone take care love to all XXX Aidan

Melting moments!! Oooh thank you Aidan
Go Pepe!! I be his Mother was very alarmed!! Miss Sleek is going to sleep on Lucy's bed tonight so she can 'grill her' as she put it She levitated right down the spiral staircase. When she comes up I bet it makes me jump
A job and a jacket is a good start though as far as 'Sam' is concerned. I have seen a photo and he has the trendy beard and is dark. Rather dishy I think.
The cloud has magic in it's raindrops?!! How amazing Over the stream is a good idea.
The plantain is everywhere, but we avoid any sort of weed-killer due to wildlife. Is feed and weed safe?
Good to hear Mum and Dad were ok Dad wasting cakes I'm sure the sofa is ok after B's ministrations
Barbara I would have done the same and pretended we hadn't eaten Very kind of you.
Such a generous race. We could take a leaf.
I hope the café was better than the antiques!!
Joan we put the rubbish in the Church bin or our own and the weeds in one of the Church's composter bins. They have two.
Take care everyone!
Love

Evening to all. A drizzly day here, quite warm though, but not melting
Hopefully I can reply to everyone properly now. After a few interruptions
The fayre is next this coming Saturday Toni, so B is very busy, making sure he has plenty to take, everything is in order, making more things.........I make T and encourage greatly. I am looking forward to it, I might not stay all day, but I will be there to smile and wrap items that are sold
Hi Barbara, I don't blame you for sitting in the cafe, I would have stayed with you, we could have nattered and eaten far too much cake.
The tennis has been good, Sharapova is back on the tour after her ban, Roger and Rafa are competing for the grand slam, it would be Rogers 20th if he could win again.
With is being 5 hours back, it is on way into the night. Plus it is from New York and I loved NY when I was there.
yes, I am sure Carmen Miranda was very risque, back in the day. I love her hats
Mum and Dad were ok today, then Dad announced that Mum had fallen over on Friday night. :? She was ok and didn't seem bothered about it at all, no injuries sustained. They have put a decent night light in the bedroom now and one in the hall. B and SIL were ok, cakes do lift the spirits, even though Dad did throw them all over the sofa today
I will help myself to the food your lovely neighbour sent round, bless, I bet the kids were so proud having helped to make it. What did they bring? I remember you saying you had a curry already sorted.
The spell has been cast, by the three puskins, so your voice should be perfectly in tune, any octave :?
Hi Joan Nothing surprises me Joan, fancy putting steps in at the back door, perish the thought that you might want to go outside  I am glad they changed them. Just a little bit of forethought and common sense would have not gone amiss, when they were being built
Thank you, Mum n Dad are doing ok at the moment, apart from Mum's fall the other night. Mum's bloods were pretty much ok, apart from needing some iron supplements.
Hi to Sue and the lovely doggies too.
Those are rather nice Toni, the melting moments. I have tried one, two, maybe three........... :?
Miss Sleek is perfecting her levitation, she was telling Pepe over the video link, that she had been down the staircase. You will jump if she floats up and appears from nowhere
There was mention that she will be using her crystal ball to look at Lucy's admirer, as well as grilling her for information. A trendy beard, they do seem to be all the rage at the moment. Not a fan really.
Dark and rather dishy, ok, that goes down as a plus.
Pepe said Miss Sleek will be over in the dark, one night this week, they have to practice their night flying, as part of their homework from Hogwarts. Their brooms are well equipped for night flights and they both have the light wands as well, they came down the chimney tonight. boy are they bright. 8) 8)
I think this is very animal friendly and it helps the grass overtake the weeds.

The sofa is very clean and all polished again, so the cats are sliding all over it
I popped into the enchanted forest, there was a young girl, gathering moonbeams, she said I had to take some, for the puskins, as they would need them as part of their spell chest collection. Apparently the chest, is now in the ravine  who am I do say otherwise. Moonbeams it is then, thank you.
The forest was all aglow and still super excited at the recent passing of the tests at Hogwarts.
OK, time to potter I think.
Carol, I hope you are having a wonderful time with your family and the GD and GGD in Margate. Also Mr T is safely on Holy Island.
Kath will be waiting for TalkTalk to come and try and sort her internet today.
Kerrin I hope you are rested a little now, before the start of the new term. Sending hugs. Tomicat is a clever puskin and a very powerful spell master. He hides his talents well.
Christine, hope all is ok with you and yours.
Elizabeth I hope the new term is starting ok. How is your new decking?
Hi to Mig and Charrisse and all who pop in.
We are off for our Monday coffee, cakes and shopping with Mum and Dad this morning. Mum loves the GC, and I would happily go every day They look after us so well.
N Night to all, everyone take lots of care XXXX Aidan
I will put breakfast out on the next post.xxXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Just been watching a beautiful barn owl, sitting on next doors roof, it even turned round to show off all its white front. Wasn't bothered by us. Flew off into the woods after a minute or two. Fabulous to see them.
Right, breakfast, let me see.........................Mushroom and fresh herbs omelette
