    Oh, the crystal chandeliers light up, the paintings on the wall, the marble statuette standing stately in the hall...............

    I'll get the blanket from the bedroom, and we'll go walking, once again..

    Or is it more than one song..? Or have I got the total wrong end of the stick? lol

    First one is called Crystal Chandeliers, the other is blanket on the ground, Billie Joe Spears I think,
    Just wanted to get some country music, I could sing a few more

    jules...my grand kids are made up....they have built an igloo...and guess what...they sat in front of it with a disposable barbeque...I no now you are shivering thinking about it...but the eldest she is 13..cooked sausages....guess who was watching from inside.. x8) they had a brilliant time ..bless
    Tony...bubbles and rose...you are all on here while Im in bed :roll: I will try and stay up tonight.. :wink: says me :) oops I forgot came on for some cheese on toast and a builders..

    Hi Jules Tony, Barbara, delboy,

    Minus 9 here, looks very pretty, but it a tad deceiving, you open the back door and the cold bites you.
    Fed the birds, who were waiting, this morning.
    Neighbours are picking some things up for us as they have a 4 by 4. They are wonderful and look after us.
    Other neighbours have no water, everything is frozen solid, so they are sorting that out.
    Heating on full
    Cups of T a plenty
    Sending warming hugs and hope everyone keeps safe and sound. Taking lots of care if you go out. I dare not venture out, I will be flat in the snow, not a pretty sight. xx Bubbles

    Hi Tony, I am lurking, between the fire and the kitchen. Glad you have had a good day, made up for you, as we say up ere in t'north.
    Had another at home day, pottering, keeping warm, heating on meltdown, helped neighbours who have frozen pipes and no water, so we filled up lots of 5 litre bottles for them, to keep them going.
    Minus 11 I think for tonight, it is SO SO cold, it bites you as soon as you set foot outdoors, hope everyone is keeping safe and warm.
    Is that kettle on Tony? Shall I make T for a change?
