Hi to all - nice and sunny at the moment, but the sky is as black as soot over Pendle, so there are more t111055 t111055 on the way. Pleasant breeze, getting everything done in the dryer without melting in the process.
It was chilly this morning, the heating just clicked on, only for a few minutes.
Toni and family will be sorting out at home now. After the most amazing day at Tia's and Michael's wedding. t4591 t4591 t4591 t4591
Looking forward to seeing lots of pictures, exciting
Our puskins were indeed, singing the wedding march Kath it was a bit of a row though
Hi Joan and Sue - September is usually fairly ok, weather wise, pleasant days, some chilly evenings, leading up to the leaves starting to turn.
We get the new car tomorrow afternoon Once we have sorted out all the bits of paperworks, B will drive it across the road, to COSTA, to steady our nerves  Large coffee's before we head home. Not far, only about 25 minutes away.
We are not saying anything to Dad, will keep it as a surprise until Wednesday.
I am sure a few tears were shed, with happiness and joy, at the Wedding. It will have been a wonderful day, but a very long one too. Some naps would not go amiss today. He says, with his eyes getting heavier by the minute   :animal_busy: :animal_busy:
There is so much cake, but, it keeps well, all nicely boxed, for people to take at their leisure.
Glad to hear that Emily and Alex had a lovely time in the Lakes. So close to the beach and gorgeous weather too m0150 m0150
My Dad used to do the same, leave the phone, just off its hook. A few times we have had to drive over to Skipton and see if all is ok - then they would say "didn't know you were coming"  Bless.
So Dad was told off by Anita, glad he uses face time, at least he is contactable.
I thought the breakfast tray was very sweet, perfect for the morning after the wedding. Easily eaten, whilst laying in bed, recovering from all the excitement.
Hildegard will be ready for us tomorrow, which is exciting. Brand sparkly new m0150 m0150 Weather forecast is for rain, which is typical.
Thank you for the cheesecake - a healthy cheesecake   goodness, let me pick myself up..............
Hi Barbara - has Niamh come back today, you certainly have been busy these past weeks. t4591 t4591 Help yourself to wedding cake
Hi Carol - hope you are all ok, looking forward to a catch up as and when t4591
Sleek and Mother have been going through photo's of the wedding - only for puskins to see - we have to wait for peeples pictures   :?
Time I was pottering, laundry to fuss over and housekeeping will be off to make the beds aka Bill
I don't think we need any more cake at the moment, or we will pop. So, I will leave lots of love and sparkles to all t4591 t115006 t115006
Will pop back later XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Good afternoon everyone!

Everything went like clockwork photographer hairdresser makeup lady 7 of us!
The cars were gorgeous but not quite as gorgeous as the bridesmaids!
Tia looked stunning we did a reveal. I hot her ready and the photographer got Paul and the bridesmaids in the new room....Tia walked in she snapped their faces.
Paul even had a tear.
I bawled all day!!!!!! Everything set me off!
It only rained during the actual ceremony and then we had sunshine. The registrar said "a knot tied in the rain will never be untied"!
Food was spectacular oh it was all spot on!!

Evening all
I am back I have been back since Thursday but have been so shattered. and just not in the mood for too much laptop/i-pad time. I think I was so shattered because last Sunday we decided to have a meal out mr t and I by the river in Richmond, coming out of the pub we were in I had to come down 2 steps mr t asked if I needed help with the walker I said I could manage the walker So he went out ahead of me. But I misjudged the width of the steps they were quite wide, and managed to find myself sitting on my rear end on the top of the first step. Was helped up by bar staff didn’t hurt myself. Then on Monday trying to sit on the seat of the bus and driver pulled away before I was seated with a jerk, and again I found myself on my behind in the aisle of the bus. Walker tipped over because I let it go. I did feel something hit my foot, but it wasn’t painful just a bit tender to touch but over the last week I have developed some really pretty bruising over the top of my foot and round my ankle. So of course this has caused a good few ouchies over the last week
On the upside I had a good time away and saw all the peoples tiny and not so tiny that I needed to. I spent all day on Wednesday with my GS and GF and Teenies Faye Ashley And Kian. Did also fit in a lunch with my Sister on Wednesday too before going back to my GS who cooked us a really nice meal in the evening. Spent sometime with eldest GD and Lillie Graycie and Rubie also daughter and Youngest GD on Thursday before coming home. Had a bit of a delay coming home arriving home about 8.30pm.
Then of course from Friday till this afternoon has been the usual busy weekend. And today was also our Pastors last day so a meal was layed on after the service.
Other than that we are fine except Friday when it was a day that if anything was going to go wrong it would and it did.
The little jacket for Kian was loved by all. hi Kath glad Florence liked the photos when she arrived home she told me that Clarence mummy show her them. And that they are veery bizzzzzy chasing all the bad spids away from us all.
Tomorrow I will post some piccies for you
Love and sparkles to you all t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006Stay positive always👍xx0 -

Hi to all - pouring with rain here t111055 t111055 rattling the roof tops
Hi Toni, where to start - well, I can imagine the day was wonderful, but tiring, if you were up from 0500 and not in bed until 0130 the next day
Going like clockwork is just how you wanted things to go. Hair make up, for 7 of you, some good teamwork there
Of course the Bridesmaids looked stunning and Tia radiant. I bet the big reveal was a super emotional moment, eyes and wow's, caught on camera t4591 t4591 Bless, Paul was tearful too and you managed to bawl all day long.
It is like that sometimes, everything sets you off and in the end you don't know why, but there is nothing you can do about it - all the build up and planning and hoping and praying that everything goes well...............
I like that, from the Registrar, a knot tied in the rain, will never be untied, how lovely.
See, you are off again.....................tissues for Toni please. t4591 t4591
Looking forward to the pictures, I bet there are loads of gorgeous ones for us to see
Sleek was more than happy to see Mummy back home (after enjoying all the celebrations of course, with Mother Glitter Sparkles, both dressed up to the nines).
I am sure you will rest well tonight and for the ouchies, (for all of us who are ouchy), a little bit of magic to help t115006 t115006
Hi Carol - talking of ouches - you had a right time, two tumbles, not what you needed at ALL.
Steps are always a worry, better to go backward and land on the top step, than fall down forward. Kind of the bar staff to help you gather yourself together.
Then the bus pulling away, that's all well and good if you are able and can grab hold of rails etc, but not with a walker and trying to get yourself seated.
I hope you were helped to settle into a seat. (((()))) for the bruising to go away, as well as the ouches. t115006 t115006
The good news was that you had a lovely time with your family. Managing to share your time with all little and bigger peeples t4591 t4591
You were a bit later home than you thought, no wonder you are tired
So the Pastor has now retired :? :? I wonder what will happen now. I remember you saying that Mr T is going to do the Lay Preaching for now. A concerning time for the parishoners.
Some picture will be lovely, there are so many to see, with yours and Toni's, we will be having a wail of a time. t4591 t4591
Hi Barbara - you have had the same weather (being not so far away) Sunshine, then black as soot and pouring, then more sunshine. I think it has stopped pouring now t111055 t111055
Niamh is back to yours today, then back to school on Tuesday, in the Juniors too, bless her. New uniform, blazer and tie, she will look gorgeous. t4591 t4591
I was SO careful with the Champagne - needs must
Car today, after lunch. For sure we will need a large coffee and cakes, to steady our nerves, when we ( I say we, but I mean Bill) drive away from the dealer. Thank goodness Costa is only a 1/4 mile away
The forecast was for a nice sunny day, but looking at it now, it says pouring rain - bloomin typical   t111055 t111055
I promise not to press too many, ooops :? , any buttons, until I have read the owners manual  I would be told off I think, "don't touch, if you don't know what it does"
Tinkerbell is back, for us all
Lots of thoughts and prayers for your Brother and for you all. I know it is so difficult. You have been there before, but try not to over think the future, each day at a time. t4591 t4591
Time is racing on, tennis is getting very interesting, so, I am going to potter away......................
Will report back tomorrow, when we have picked Hildegard up. I will take a pic or two It's all photo's this coming week.
Love to all t4591 t4591 Take care XXXX Aidan

Morning a lovely day here!
Aidan thank you for the pastries I have only had one or 5
What a day YOU have ahead of you today. Make sure B parks well away from any other cars at Costa Safety first. I hope most of the buttons will be similar to Beatrice. Will Hildegard and Beatrice meet?
Barbara a blazer??!! WOW!!! Niamh is going to look such a big girl isn't she?
Now when things get going with your bro you will find you slot straight back into 'coping' mode please don't worry. I saw Mums do the same at the QE when their poor kids got their cancers back. It is my greatest fear having to go through that again so I totally 100% can empathise ((())) Can't post your flowers as the laptop updated and won't let me grrrr!
Carol - blimey! You are a wonder-woman I am amazed at how much you achieve in spite of your arthritis
You saw them all and GS cooked for you too?! Go him!
I bet that jacket was much admired - I hope they know it will be a one-off for sure??!!!
I can't wait to see some pics of them all you are so blessed, but I know you know that too
The Pastor's last day? Oh I am sorry that will have been a sad day for you all ((()))
Now try to stay on your feet from now on if you can ::)
Joan here are only one or two pics - of course MOB (me - that's mother of the bride)wasn't really allowed to have her phone with her but managed a couple!

Toni, your girls are all so beautiful like their mum. t4591 It must have been a marvellous day, one to remember. What's the ring like? You must be so proud.
Holly has gone to Skeg for a day and night with her grandparents and the kiddies. We gave her a tenner to spend on them, it will at least get a couple ice creams and sticks of rock. She'll be back tomorrow.
Aidan, has Hildegarde arrived yet? Trust it to rain. And Aidan, DON'T TOUCH THAT BUTTON oh, too late. Oh yummy, ta for the Fruits and cream cheese pastries mi duck.
Barbara, so Niamh's a junior, with a blazer, such a smart girl. Emily started back today, but no children until Wednesday. She has been promoted to 'the Ark' where she teaches special needs childen. It doesn't sound awful that you have a dread after your eldest brother. Our experiences colour our feelings and expectations, it would be different if your older brother had survived, that would give you hope for your second brother.
Carol, oh my goodness. I'm so sorry about your falls, it was very kind of the bar staff to help you, but very rude of the bus driver not to wait until you were safely in your seat before he drove off. I'm glad your hard work on Kian's jacket was admired by all.
Vegan savoury pancakes with garlicky mushrooms
Ingredients:
100g (3½oz) plain flour
200ml (7fl oz/generous ¾ cup) unsweetened soya milk, chilled
Generous pinch of fine sea salt 6 tbsp sunflower oil
For the garlicky mushrooms
Ingredients:
1 tbsp sunflower oil
200g (7oz) button mushrooms, some sliced, some whole
3 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely sliced
6 tbsp soya single cream
Small handful of flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
Generous pinch of sea salt and black pepper
Method :
Start by making the pancakes. Whisk together the flour, soya milk, and sea salt in a bowl until smooth.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Test if the oil is hot by adding a drop of pancake batter to the pan: if it sizzles and becomes golden within 30 seconds, it is at optimum temperature. Add 4 tablespoons of the batter to make one pancake and swirl the batter around the pan to coat the base evenly.
When the pancake is golden after 2–3 minutes, carefully flip it over to cook the other side. Drain on kitchen paper then keep warm in the oven while you continue to cook the other pancakes, using 1 tbsp of the oil each time.
For the garlicky mushrooms, heat the oil in a separate frying pan over a medium–high heat and cook the mushrooms for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the garlic and cook for a further minute. Remove from the heat and stir in the soya cream and parsley. Season with sea salt and black pepper.
To assemble, place the pancakes on serving plates and generously load on the garlicky mushrooms. Fold the pancakes over and serve while hot."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Hi to all - finally
Hildegard is home, she is gorgeous, like being in a space ship, technology wise, compared to dear Beatrice. Super pleased and happy.
I was going to take a pic, but it started pouring with rain t111055 t111055 (and has not stopped) t111055 t111055 so, when the sun comes out, I will do.
Hi Toni - only five pastries, now don't be letting the side down
B did park well away from other vehicles at Costa, we didn't get there until 4pm     there is always SO much paperwork and faffing.
But, I did kind of mention to the lovely M-bility man, about a Merc umbrella - (they are normally about £80, for genuine Merc ones - yes, I know, horrific) I said rather loudly, no way am I paying that for a brolly, but one would be lovely.
Hang on he said..........goes away, comes back........how does £12 sound - Heck yes, that will be just fine - they are having a huge "event" this week, so lots of stock, to tempt buyers. Get in there Matron
Buttons and touch screens and three track pads, like the ones on a laptop, two of them are tiny, but one is normal size. It is chalk and cheese, things have moved on a pace, in the last 9 years. No physical dials at all, all flat screen panels - she already knows more about us than we do :? :?
beatrice did meet Hilde They exchanged greetings.
The pictures are lovely. Loving Lucy and the beaming bride Tia. t4591 t4591 The colour of the bridesmaid dresses was just gorgeous. The flowers are beautiful, more than beautiful t69044 t69044 Pom is a very clever Lady.

Hi Joan and Sue - Thank you Joan, fortunately the car is almost the same colour as the last one
Hugs to you both (((()))) as always. Hope you have not had too much rain. We seem to be deluged at the moment.
I would be the same, I would not be able to use a bus, for fear of falling etc.
Hi Kath - Bless, Holly will have a nice time at Skeggy, not been there in over 40 plus years

Hildegard, oh yes, she's home, safe and sound and sopping wet    t111055 t111055 t111055 At some point this week, the sun might well pop out, apart from that it is wall to wall wet :? :?

Good boy B parking so far from 'other idiots' and their car doors
I think a day at home today is by far the best move. I have the builders back in to board out the skirting and the 'steel' so it looks like another beam.

Dear Barbara, you are very welcome. Yes we are all suffering in some way, but to help each other and give our support where it's needed brings our own troubles into perspective. I'm glad you had a good visit wth your family and that dear Niamh was there too. m0150
Joan, I'm sure Holly and the children enjoyed themselves at Skegness, we used to go for our hols there. "Skegness is so bracing" which means it's blimmin windy off the East Coast. Aidan will remember.
Toni, how lovely for the new Mr and Mrs to have their song playing as they boarded the plane, and Pom s a floral genius, the 'hand ties' are gorgeous. Amazing that their room was upgraded too. Thank you for the photos.
So Hildegarde is home but wet! A much cheaper price for the umbrella, phew. Thank you for the breakfast burritos - hang on, there's a baby bawling next door. Visitors I hope. :?
Carol, oh wow, no wonder Kian's coat of many colours caused you some headaches. It's beautiful (as of course is Kian himself). They are so cute at that age, mostly nappy. But little loves. I'm sorry you lost your long post, I hate it when it happens to me. I hope you're not black and blue from your mishaps.
Spicy quesadillas (gluten free)
The best vegan and wheat-free quesadilla recipe, served with fresh salad and homemade Mexican sides! Serves 4-5.
Ingredients
1 tbsp of oil
3 large plum tomatoes (chopped)
1 red bell pepper (chopped)
1 yellow bell pepper (chopped)
1 red onion (finely chopped)
1 garlic clove (crushed)
1 carton of cooked kidney beans
4 green jalapeños (chopped)
1 1/2 tsp fajita seasoning
Gluten-free wraps
Grated vegan cheese
Method
Heat up the oil in a large wok.
Shallow fry the chopped onion and garlic on a low heat until golden, then add in the red and yellow pepper.
Cook for a few minutes until softened, then add in the kidney beans, tomato, jalapeños and seasoning.
Cook for around 5-10 minutes until soft. Keep stirring with a wooden spoon to prevent sticking!
Line baking trays with grease proof paper and lay down the tortilla wraps.
Divide the filling onto each wrap (only one half) and follow with grated vegan cheese. Fold over the torilla wrap.
Cook for around 5 minutes or until lightly brown and the cheese has melted.
Cut the quesadillas in half, and serve whilst warm."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

I want it to rain tomorrow, so we can use our new Merc umbrella t111055 t111055 8) 8) Very true, you don't know, until you ask.
I will take some pics, even in the rain she looks lovely. Colour is so similar to Beatrice, that no one has said "ooo, you have a new car" Word will out though, it is faster than lightning here, when there is some gossip to spread.
I hope Beatrice goes to a good home, I am sure she will.
All kind of non button buttons, everything is touch screen - Daddy the driver has lots of buttons on his steering wheel, which I am not allowed to go near  :?
I like talking to the car though, if you say you are too hot, she will turn the AC cooler, makes calls, reads out texts, navigates, I am only at the beginning of the owners manual. I glazed over last night.
There is an app, for your phone, mercedes me, I think it is synced to the car - " go into the MIUX interface and locate the QI code" was one instruction.  :? :? Ok, we had a look through on the home screen in the car, discovered it already knew my email, name, address, etc etc. Never did find the QI code...........................
It has been nice to be at home, just pottering and fussing.
Builders are there, to finish off the skirting boards and box in the steel - it will look even better than ever t4591 t4591
Sleek is right, carz only go to the vettz, hence Mothers cautious approval. No need to show me inside, thanks all the same
Hi Joan and Sue - hope you are both ok.............. Cars move on at a fast pace, when it comes to technology. I remember having a radio was often an added "extra" and if you had a tape player too, it was very posh.
One car I had, had an electric aerial - I thought it was the bee's knee's
Thank you, as always, for the hugs, they are always gratefully received (((()))) t4591 t4591
Hi Barbara - you are more than welcome hun, we all share and care, more than people would every think possible, on a forum.
I am so glad the day went better than you had expected, with your Bro his GF, your Niece and Niamh too. Great that you all had a laugh t4591 t115006 t115006
Our minds do loop the loop, then whizz round like a washing machine. We do tend to jump to the fore front as and when we are needed, even if we are paddling like mad, but keeping a calm air above water.
Well, we just had to have a Merc brolly - I was determined to leave with one I think the Mbilty man was right, you will just get used to how everything works, when it is time to change the car again
Niamh wanted a party, don't blame you love, I think we all need an afternoon tea party, with an Autumn theme
Another two weeks to wait, for Christies, mmm, time and wheels sometimes move more slowly than we would like. Good that your Bro has MacMillan nurses to speak to, they really are wonderful and so helpful.
I was looking at the car manual, but I keep glazing over. It will take me weeks to digest it all. We will see if Dad notices in the morning. With Hildegard being a similar colour, he might not, until he goes to sit in.
Hope you have had a nice day out, chilling is wonderful, we all need to do a bit more of it, but rarely get the chance. Onward and upward.
We will go to the T room tomorrow. Not been out this week yet. (costa yesterday was only a very quick visit, so that doesn't count).
Hi Kath - A baby bawling, next door - where they part of a visiting group? Hope so, we don't want shrieking at all hours   :? :?
A wet Hildegard is happy, sat sitting out back She is super well waxed, so rain is not sticking t111055 t111055 Glad you liked the burrito's, they had mushrooms in, so I knew you would love them.
Spicy quesidilla's, thank you kindly, don't mind if I do. Ta mi duck. t4591
Hi to Carol - hope you are ok, that the bruising is fading and the ouchies are not too bad. t4591 t115006 t115006

I will pop back later. Leaving lots of love and sparkles to all t4591 t115006 t115006 XXXX Aidan
Oh, nearly forgot. Openreach have switched the new box on, on the park, we have nearly 40 megs a second now, up from 13 way to go Openreach
Afternoon Tea anyone - pinkies out
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I have put a cosy on the tea pot, it will stay hot and won't "stew". I did put my pinkies out and didn't shovel any cakes in
Hi Toni - Love the photo of Tia and Michael on FB, They both look SO SO happy. Tia's dress is beautiful and Michael is uber smart and very relaxed. Great picture t4591 t4591
I hope you are all pretty muck sorted in Sleeks new Music Room t115006 t115006 I still think a baby grand would look a maz ing in there
Maybe not a Liberace style one, (even though Sleek loves them).
I hope Tia and Michael are enjoying their honeymoon t4591 t4591 and that you are all recuperating, after all the planning and implementation of such a wonderful wedding.
Mother popped over to see Sleek, at siesta time, well, I say siesta time, it was very short.
Dad rang and he said he had passed a lot of blood when he had a wee - :? Felt ok otherwise, no pain, no nothing out of the ordinary.
Upshot - I rang Drs straight away and we got him in, within 20 minutes - He has to go back today with a sample and have some bloods done, also an urgent referral for out patient clinic. B didn't catch what the GP said, I guess a cystoscopy, to take a peek inside the bladder.
Should be seen within 2 weeks tops.
All a bit worrying but Dad seems fine in himself.
Apart from medical matters, a quiet day. :? :?
Hi Barbara - hope you are all ok and enjoyed some time out on Tuesday. Did you stay local?
Hi Carol - to you and yours. Are you taking a break from knitting, especially jackets (it was gorgeous though).
Hi to everyone else, in and about. I won't dally, I need to potter and fuss a little, catch up on some tennis and have a bit of a read, about active lane assist in the car manual :? :? I might well glaze over once more.

Kari put one on though on facebook so I copied it for anyone on fbook to see.
Barbara you are doing just fine t4591 it's the very last thing anyone would want to go though twice, but it's the hand you've been dealt and you are already playing it even if you don't think you are.
Lots of fun and laughter Niamh stories. I hope you and your husband had a great day out yesterday?
Tia is Paul's by his first marriage and Charley and Lucy are both mine, but Tia's hair is now a similar colour to Lucy's and they are both slim...so a bit I think
Hi Kath how are you my lovely? and babies crying I hope it was just a visitor :? My new neighbour will have a 6 year old and twins due and horror of horrors - a TRAMPOLINE
Loved the vegan quesadillas yum!
Thank you I have to agree the flowers were amazing They are being truly spoiled on their honeymoon. Should be going up the Burg Khalifa today I think.
Aidan that afternoon tea was perfect of course I had my pinky out and a tea cosy is essential SUPER-fast broadband finally hoorah!
Dudley has an app too Nissan-connect maybe??? I cope ok with it he can read texts etc, but doesn't turn the heating down if I say I'm hot    wow!! Go Hildegard  Totally impressive. You press a button B doesn't agree with and he can turn it back on his steering wheel!!!
That could be fun!
Neighbours will suss you soon enough t111055 here today  Still that means you can use your brolly
I can't wait to hear what Dad says when he gets in the car today, but what a worry about the wee :? I am hoping it's just that he ate a ton of beetroot :?
But could be a bladder issue of course ((())) for you all and fingers crossed. At least he rang you straight away.
Then the T room for a nice restorative cuppa.
I wonder whether Tia's pusskins will actually go out when I go today it's lashing down here :? they might stay in bless them :? Sleek is coming to see Mother via the gate today because her broomstick couldn't go straight it's so very windy!
Just having a slice of breakfast honey bread with some best butter ta v muchly
Now take care and good luck today ((()))
Love to everyone

Afternoon all, what a day! Problems with my prescription, hopefully sorted out now. Not sure what Holly is doing, she only got back from Skeg this morning and is still in bed. We asked her if she would pick us up a Radio Times and we don't know if she did. Not a huge issue in the scheme of things, and she is only 23 after all.
Joan, I would have loved to go to Weston. Skeg is very similar to Blackpool, but a bit smaller. Weymouth sounds nice too. m0150
Toni, Tia's dress looks gorgeous, and now you're pusskin sitting. The crying baby was a visitor and we haven't heard a doggy lately either, so that must have also been a visitor.
Aidan, oh poor dad. Any bleeding is a worry, I hope it is nothing serious. :? Thank you for the sparkly heart, and the Irish Breakfast Honey Bread - wot, no Kerrygold? That tea table looks inviting too.
Barbara, sending hugs and hoping you have a few hours with Niamh before she returns to school.
Carol, sending love and hugs to you and hoping everything is back to normal with no bruises. t4591
Cauliflower sumac salad
Ingredients
1 medium cauliflower, cut into small florets
1 tbsp olive oil
1/8 cup (5g) coriander leaf
1 small green chilli, finely chopped
1/4 cup (25g) pomegranate seeds
1/4 cup (25g) walnuts, broken into pieces
1/4 cup (50g) red pepper, finely chopped
1 tsp sumac
1 tsp ground cumin
A squeeze of lemon juice
A pinch of salt
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix the cauliflower with the oil in a large bowl, making sure to cover all of the cauliflower with the oil.
Bake the cauliflower for 10 minutes until you can easily insert a fork. Once cooked cool for 10 minutes.
Mix together all of the remaining ingredients, adding in the cauliflower, then taste to see if you need more salt."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Today I was told i'm in remission, thank you for all your support over the last months.Mig0 -
Afternoon to all t111055 t111055 t111055 t111055 it has not stopped since we collected Hildegard    plus a big bird poop on the roof - supposed to be good luck :? :? :?
Hi Toni, Tia and the dress are beautiful, really shows the dress off in that picture. Of course you have to wait for the official piccies.
I know, rapido broadband, we like that very much
Nissan connect sounds similar, I am not too sure if I have totally sussed the merc "interface" out yet, to sync everything, everywhere :? :?
Yes, we can talk to Hildegard and ask her to do all sorts, call people, read messages, heating, AC, activating various things, navigation...........to name a few.
Here is a photo of the cockpit - one large flat LED screen  with extra comfy seating
https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZDirfX7ysZtt9Ehv6
me no touch the buttons on the steering wheel, only to dust Microfiber cloth always to hand piano black is kind of a dust magnet :? :?
And we forgot to use the brolly today, can you believe it. Never mind, it will rain again on Friday.
Dad loves the car, it is almost silent, plus if you are in traffic, the engine stops and starts, without you knowing, to save fuel, eco something. Very nippy, more power than Beatrice and a smaller turbo engine.......... :? beyond me.
Wee sample and bloods done at the surgery, appointment with Urology for Monday, (that is super fast tracking). At Burnley, not far, we know it well, as does Dad. They will take a peek I think, with a cystoscope, can be done while you are at out patients.
He feels ok, no pains, no feeling off colour. Will have to see what they find out...............................Very glad he rang us, so we could set the ball rolling very quickly.
T room was lovely. Coffee's, toasties, sausage butty for Dad, I had to have a choccy brownie, well, it was there, looking at me.
Tia's puskins might want to stay indoors, if it is anything like the weather here. Lashing down, then stops, blows a gale, then pours again..........
Sleek has been over to see Mother, it was obviously fresh litter quidditch while we were out     and how many sweets we can spit into the water bowls :? :?
Taking care, as requested, honest :? :?
Hi Joan and Sue - hope you are both ok (((()))), I know, you are not ok ok, but as well as can be expected Always sending hugs (((()))) you are both so kind.
We will wave as we waft by in the car Dad does like the car
Hi Kath, hope your prescriptions are not sorted (((())))
Sounds like Holly needed a big rest. Are her kiddies both at school, starting new term? If so, she might have taken the opportunity to have a duvet morning.
I don't know what Skeggy is like now, but I would guess it is far nicer than Blackpool, some like it, but it is not for me, hen and Stag do's by the bus load, no thanks.
That's good news, that the crying baby was a visitor and also the whining doggy - peace and quiet will be fine for you both. t4591 t4591

Hi to all -
Sorry, I won't be able to write my ditty tonight, been round at Dads, making sure he was ok, he was worrying about passing blood again. I had chats with duty Dr.
Dad feels fine in himself, but he is on strict orders to ring, if he feels anything, faint, dizzy, pain, etc. Stop anticoagulants until seen by urology on Monday...................
Off duty ? Never. Once a nurse, always a nurse. Will catch up again tomorrow.
hope everyone is as ok as can be. Sending all my love XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning everyone
Thanks for the scones Aidan I love them and missed them on the Village cart last Friday (too exited about the wedding I think ) .
Tia's dress did look good in the pic - it was one the photographer was taken I think Auntie Kari sneaked in and took her one The pusskins were in when I went to feed them one naked  luckily there was an old one in the food cupboard.
Off the hook now until Friday night because Charley is on nights (near Tia's) so will do them and even stay the 'day' asleep of course with them. If she's lucky they might cuddle up to her t4591
It is such a worry about Dad isn't it? Can't ignore it, but I am hoping urology will have the answer and the fix for it ((())) Hildegard was a good distraction for him.
The dash looks very swish indeed very like an aeroplane cockpit  Dudley 'stops' when I am stopped too and restarts if I go near the pedals. Paul's new VW van does too, but is stupidly sensitive  he can't even do a 3 point turn without it keep stopping
I'm sure Hildegard is much more sensible. Does she show you how much CO you have saved?
Mig!! So lovey to see you Congratulations on your remission such great news. Welcome back o the café you have been missed.
Hi Kath - Holly sounds to be shattered and will no doubt appear when she does! Kids eh?
Glad your prescription is sorted now - we don't like mistakes do we?
I am indeed pusskin sitting :animal_busy: they are very good, but one lost her collar :? sorted with an old one so she is dressed :?
Good news that the doggie and baby were only visitors. Visitors come to look at new homes of course
Thank you for the cauliflower sumac salad it was lovely
Thank you Joan We will have better official pics soon I hope t4591
I hope all is well with Barbara and family ((())) t1150060 -
