    Hi Cris

Trying to peek in a bit earlier than usual today. Goodness there is more to this shed building that I thought, but glad you feel it is getting there and is some small reward for the extra pains.

Am sure Breagh will soon have you trained and playing ship the sheep again as often as she can.

Hey I must take you to task and totally out of context for saying earlier I think to Joan, "as you know twins are difficult" !! We twinnies of the human variety could take offence!:grin:

Hey I've done my two days this week and by some miracle appear to have a couple of spoons left so all is goodish here at the moment. The long Easter break for me must have done some good eh! Hope you manage to keep the payback to a minimum if you can tonight. I will be hoping the numbness holds out for a while.

Leaving some special anti payback juice with a cuppa and a bucket of these ((( )))

    Hi Joan,

nearly ready for you and your hammer..... (((((( )))))) xx

    Oh Chris,

Some of my best mates are a twin :lol:

For some reason horses are very unlikely to have twins and if they do its normally not a good out come..... I wish I knew why she slipped.... He was nearly viable (before 300 days they can't breath as the lungs are not ready.....) such a shame eh?!

Its effected me....it hasn't Mule... Mind she does still have blossom and even weaned Bloss is always with mum.

Hey will swap you a duvet day for a spin the sheep day and shed say... Oh Chris how the hell am I to get through tomorrow......:lol: thank god for pregabs and teams :lol:

Some friends came over Easter and they helped get a collar on Bree...... she will go in a corner and I only need to get hold of her and well......

Oh its going to be an interesting morning.... but Wish is going to be ok we just need to come up with a pain management thing for her..... I think the 5 days on her own were too much for her.

You have a good day tomorrow and hopefully the rest up over Easter will mean you get some time to sit and read and have some real you time not asleep. love and a cuppa with side dish of ((((( )))))'s and a bucket of stamina and fortitude ,. will go halves with you on an energy bucket as well. Cris, i just had to say that i love reading these posts everyday and finding out what is going on, it is getting adictive i log on to the forum and think now i wonder what cris wish and bre have been doing today.
So keep up the good posts.

    one question how many deer?

    Tracey (kisses from Maddie)
ps Maddie loves the chews she says that she was starved today as we were out very early and she didn't have any breakfast.. although looking at all 11kg of westie sitting here i think the odd missed breakfast may help.

Hi Joan, Tilly, Tracey, Lynn and All,

Ow payback came with vengeance today......

The vet came out this morning gave Wish the once over but couldn't do her bloods till Tuesday cus of these bank holidays... mind it also means she can check its all working and Wish is a little less stiff.

Metacam and lets see really and it is def arthritis and you know I hate the dam stuff cus that is the writing on the wall... it ain't flashing though!

Bre..... I caught her and almost had her but she went round Wish and I couldn't get Wish involved in it....

That was the end of my back to honest.....

Bre was then caught up by the vet.... but she had a fight as well..... The long and short once turned she was ok.... had a foot done cus its a little duff and grown odd...... all that stamping I think.... no lambs were felt but we can't rule it out if it was very recent cus its a 5 month gestation so...... I like to think not though.

    Bree then hide behind Wish....

    http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/skezier/PICT0058.jpg

They are good together eh? mind she makes Wish look so old bless her....

Came home and got the wave of fatigue and then the drunk walking and then th shakes and felt sick....

Just went to bed and the bit of rest for the lumber has claimed it down but its all so swollen and hurts.... I does hurt as well

Wish has got a box of liquid horse metacam and I am thinking..... same weight........ If you look closely in the pic I think she is like me when I first took 300 pregabs  Bless her its quick acting and she was a bit better once she had had it. Its got her back by the hips and poss the hips as well...... I know how she feels I really do.......

Joan I don't think a wheat bag would stay om to be honest.... they are a kind of circle and it would be hard to keep it there but I might see if I can. Hope you and Sue re ok/ xx

Tilly they never turned up  Typical men eh?! (been let down s far over hep with the shed.... 2x is hard.... ) Leaving you a cuppa on the bench with the deer and some sheep nuts and double choc cookies to keep him there... he likes them as he really is sheeparised.... xx

Tracey The deer came into the wild section in the gardening thread back along and he is cyber I am afraid... though I did know a fawn who's mum had been killed and he was what this deer was based on

Hey one of my dogs rolled in something the horses left behind and I couldn't find any dog shampoo so did her in mine... cus she is worth it.. and she is so soft and so shiny... its never managed to do that to me :lol: Hug for you and another smacho for Maddie xx

Lynn The hope is she isn't but its early to know without ultrasound. i said to the vet he would have done that before making his decision to cull her but the vet said they don't always ... she couldn't feel anything though so it should be ok....

Hey I like the idea of snaking wish into the pain clinic... she could totter in on her high heels and teed suits and they would never know :lol:

Wonder f they do steroid jabs to a sheep?!

No shed today... I can hardly walk and honestly felt so bad earlier I did turn in....bit better tonight but oh Lynn Why do I have this thing about not having restrictions via the bone stuff  I just stick my head down and charge it without thinking of what it will do back to me.....

Pay back is big but bre still has been looked at! Hope your doing ok and leaving you a cream egg xx

Cris, i loved the photo wish and bre look very at home.
Maddie is on metacam and has been for about 18 months now as she has pulled cruciate ligaments in both back legs and she also has arthritis in L5/6 she has hydotheraphy and has responded very well but still needs the metacam.

Hope you are taking it a bit easier today

    Hi Cris,
I hope today is a better day for you and Bre has settled a bit more. It looks like it was a good move all-round when you brought Wish a new pal.
Arh- the dreaded pounder has made itself felt again. Maybe you could wait for willing visitors before the lifting of the walls?? Cream tea “Barn Raising” Cornish style.
Fingers crossed that you have been able to have a few down times to rest your poor neck and back. I am off to make arrangements for tomorrows lunch, not sure how many are coming but will organise a relay for the oven!!

    Hi cris

Hope you are not too sore today.....sounds like you have been soooo busy with the shed and you have done brilliant to say your help didn't arrive. A wonky shed has character  I can do you a wonky sign with their names on.

Just seen the lovely photo of breagh (sp sorry  not sure) and wish, they look as though they have known each other for years. I am really glad wish is ok.

    Hi Cris,
Well I hope the weather has improved for you and you have managed to do a little sun bathing. Warm but very windy here the trees are rocking a bit. I have been doing some gardening but have just given up when my glasses got blown off!!!

Fingers crossed you have been able to sleep a little better and the back is easing off a little. Not much chance of that I suppose but with luck you will have had a helping hand with some of the chores today.

Just calling in to leave some anti wished juice and a few of these. ((( )))
Not sure what the plan was this weekend re Sales. Feel sure you will have felt you needed one BUT always depends on the bones and stuff cooperating for you. I have been thinking of you.
Hope Bre settled in a bit and Wish is bonding nicely with her.
Work was soooo boring today, I even resorted to dusting the fire extinguisers!

    Hang in there flower.
love, bestest fudge and a few cuppas.

Hi Joan, Tracey, I, Barbara, Rose, Berty, Julie, Chris and All,

Sorry been awol but feeling unwell again... this cold will keep reinfecting but this time it keeps producing a fever.....

Wish isn't being good at having her metacam.... she is getting it but so are the walls and my clothing.... or even me.... Bre stands back but i think she approved of Wish being less compliant....:lol:

The shed is down to just 2 more poles... I grind ed to a halt for a few reasons... not least rain... big rain as well....

Windy today and I heaved this useless hulk over to look at flower... she is nearly fully bagged and well she is due between the 5th and the 10th.

I got to find some energy and you lot are on sitting up duties... and we need names.....I got one for Flowers....

Had a mouse in the kitchen this week... a mouse... all these cats and there was a mouse in the kitchen.... Haz manfully did the removal but he also removed everything in the cupboard and all the doors as well.... been terrified of going near then just now.....

help... I can't have rodents in doors.....

Tis gone now but the aftermath is total phobia driven fears.....

Right leaving a full compliment for I's oven and the bank holiday, a skip load of hugs and hopes that you have all have a decent weekend and are feeling okish?

Must do something cus I have had a bad morning of throwing up but the anti emetics are now working.... come people help me get the last 2 posts in please... we got sun today but a gale which probably wont help :lol:

Sorry really not so good today and got imaginary mice all over the place.... Love to you all Cris xxx

Flower, I dropped in to see how things were going with you.....so sorry that you are feeling awful again, it's so bloody unfair! Specially just as the foals begin to come along.

As usual, you amaze me at the way you grit your teeth and carry on regardless - I get speechless 'cos I can't find the right words to say just how much you leave me gobsmacked.

I will try and get my head round some names, is it still plants/flowers etc?
Have got a couple floating about, will try and pin them down.

Atta girl! But do try and rest in between heaving pounders and such like implements.............

    Lotsa love

    Hi Annie,

So good to see you and I so hope your feeling a lot better? I know your may not be but I do think about you and hope as well.

We going for a theme this year? There are only 3 this time... Sadly SP has gone and Mule doesn't have a live on this year and well Flowers might be Willow... if ever a horse throws a Willow it will be Flower.....

Oh Annie I think being alone helps... things just wont do them selves but I am next to useless again..... so tired and so dam weak and well the vets coming to get some blood from Wish tomorrow.... that will be fun... I also wonder shall we blood test bre... just for a laugh really :lol:

Sure Polly wont mind catching her...... Do I hate this poor vet?! Actually she is very good and kinda lucky cus Wish needs a bit of help for sure.....

Must get this shed done and get her home as well.....

You post a bit more here and there Annie cus your missed! hell that's telling you....

I must stop doing drekly and get some work done... I must... and I must believe I can do it....

Love and a ((((( ))))) and a huge hope. Cris xx

    Oh Cris,
This wind is getting to be silly now. Blue sky, sunny and flipping cold!!
I have had three cats and they have never caught anything but a wet leaf. Unless that is a trait of tortes?? Since Rover has gone I have been invaded by two field mice, one large peacock and a mean looking black cat!!

Ok, the poles for the shed.. Well I have a reasonable right hand so when I nod me head you hit it.:lol:

Nice of Wish to lay on some entertainment for Bre though: - Very thoughtful of her. Gosh the foal will be here very quickly, I so hope you are feeling a lot better soon. Not good re the sickness as that does take it out of you. Might be best to get back in and have a rest today no use paddling through all the puddles anyway.

    Hi Cris,
I'm sorry I've not been around for a while sweetie, it's manic here!
Oh mice  detest the blighters, that's why we got our tomcat 'Sparkle' we were overun with them in our garage and utility room :???: worked as well though not one has dared enter since his arrival 10 years ago
You poor love, the cold re infected again, it's not fair it really isn't Cris.
I Hope Flower is ok, and Wish takes her medicine smoothly  without covering the Walls and your good self
The cast has gold and silver glitter polka dots all over it!!! Orla and her friend Clara were very 'artistic' if I can summon the energy between marking papers and setting course work for my confirmation classes I'll send you a pic
Take care Cris, lots of hugs (((((()))))) and sending buckets of cold remedy, tea and lots of yummy cream cakes your way Xxx

    Hi I,

This wind is quite big eh?! I have to say its making the poles move too much and hard to get a level on them.....

Its taking shape but I, this i could have done in a morning even 4 years ago..... hell I did the one they have and this one is a copy cus it works and I am thinking a window to the west, one to the east and the door and window to the south cus Bre loves looking through windows she really does.....

Guess she has never seen them before?

You have Sid for dinner... I actually held him down yesterday with an up turned fork cus he had me 4x... that's 4x.... not like the bad one though he didn't break skin but just the same.....

Bully is being bullied now by Look at my Horns... ind he is also on his way..... Poor old Panda... well she will be the first to go.... He did say 4 was too many so back to 2 next year....

Hey hows the mtx increase going? the 25 seems to be making me feel sick here and there but really I the thing is it might not be the mtx as there is a bit wrong with the digestion side of this useless hulk as well....

Now my Tories are incredible catchers.... Monst single handedly kept the rabbits down a bit and Thingummy is now doing the same but the mouse in the kitchen... they had to leave it to a dog! Joke really.....

leaving you Sid, Mr Horns and a ((((( ))))) as well as a skip load of hopes... oh and Wish said she is happy to oblige bree's entertainment :lol: I'm getting old my friend  xx

    Hi Poppy,

Oh Flower usually does the text book foaling... I was talking to it earlier and it comes out into your hand ... its a lovely feeling but Mules did that.... Mind this one is viable cus she is getting a full milk bag and is looking better than she normally does on her return .....

Primmy will be upset though... she isn't ready to share her mum....

Hey hope the manic calms down soon and that somewhere in it your are getting a bit of time to rest up?

You take care Glitter Girl ((((( ))))) and i hope things get a bit easier... oh isn't it nearly time for a cast change? xx

    Hi Cris,
The shed sounds good, a real des-res for Wish and Bree. That is a lot of cutting for you with all the windows and I suppose you will have to have shutters?
I’m sure Bree will get used to all the home comforts soon, as you say I bet she hasn’t been undercover since she was born, bless her.
Sid is pushing his luck there so I will get the big pan out for his visit. Good for you for showing him the neck brace!!! Now Mr. Horns will have to hang about in the shed for a while so as I can give Bully my full attention.
So you are keeping to the 25mg at the moment? It’s a pity 20 plus an alternative doesn’t work for you. I hope your next appointment is soon so you will know what is causing the sickness for sure.
I’m still on the 12.5 but I am not sure if it goes up next week when I go to see the Rheumy Nurse. I have signs of getting the sore mouth and ulcers so fingers crossed it will settle down as I get used to it.

    Hi Joan,

oh flower I so wish you could help.... I think I might just bored up the side done tomorrow to give me a feeling I am getting there cus i don't think I am... dug 2 holes and they are 18 and 20 inches deep so got to do a lot of sawing now..... hard when your feeling wished whacked and usless ...oh wow is me!:lol:

Hope you and Sue are ok and get in that scooter cus your escort awaits.... ((((( ))))) xx

    Hi I,

He is taking you up to a high does there but maybe that will help clobber it? I am on 25 jabs and they are as ever making me feel sick.... I guess I will get used to them eh?! I see the rumo in June and then the threat is palliative and back to 20...... He has never done an add in partly cus the luth wots its name wouldn't be a good one for me cus of other problems and the hydroxy has eye issues and mine are already bad......

The ulcers and sore moth might mean they keep you on 12.5? I hope its all ok and I kinda been lucky for that one but I am paranoid about my teeth... sort of clean then too often... an odd obsession that?! I did get some different mouth wash from the chemist... it tastes horrible but its meant to help..... Then I swill them with a nicer tasting one... I it really is an obsession.....odd one isn't it?

Right will ready pluck Sid at this rate... he just did it again... only I caught him and spun him round..... used to work for the geese that.....

Put your pot on flower. A skip load of ((((( ))))) and if you start feeling sick get the mtx jabs they are so much easier and better... though I do still get the sickness but then I am already likely to feel sick via the crohns I guess? Your right though Horns needs doing first! xx
