Toni it is so lovely that you have been to help Cris.I know she hates any fuss but she really does need some occasionally. I have been absent from this thread at times, it is like a novel and takes some reading- so many people write on it!
Cris I hope all your many achey bits improve.

Hi,
I spoke to Cris earlier as well and as usual she is more concerned about others han herself. Trying to find her energy.....she seems to have lost it No wonder.....so gave her a little Hileena lecture Probably one of those do as I say and not as i do :P

Thank you all for the posts and support, I really do appreciate it cus it ain't been a good week.....
Now there is a surprise.....
Still trapped inside the B movie horror it seems but the rumo was helpfullish....
The mtx has not gone back down and he was not saying about palliative care this time...
he was horrified at the state of my veins and the problem getting the midline in.... there were 5 goers before it worked and the right arm is also showing some sign of infection in the veins as well but not like the left.
Just now the left isn't so happy and has this really swollen 2.5" vein that isn't getting smaller... the redness isn't going either but they promised me they don't stop the mtx for anything and its got nothing to do with that
For me the jury is still out on that one for sure
Inadvertently they have me on 2 types of penicillin that also do the lungs cus the endless cold has also done its worst reinfection every... though also not related to the mtx.......
Got the xray results in full at last. the neck is worse there is a small amount of ericsson in the wrists and the feet... well they are actually not a lot worse than last time they were xrayed after the rebuild back in 2000.
The elbows are bad but still not xrayed nor likely to be cus of the amount I have had.
They did a load of bloods to find out what bacteria I am harbouring (maybe a little late asking that one perhaps?!) also to rule out a load of things as I am so tired.
Got moaned at cus of how infrequent the bloods are... nobody can get them out and its not through lack of trying...... another reason for the knotted veins and more evidence of how bad they are getting/
Oh the new circulation tablets are second generation and not iloprost They will lower the bp (its already low) so may not be the answer but its to be reviewed again in 4 months and at least for now i don't have to have that horrible infusion or see that lovely bs again......
failing on the midline has helped in that one cus I just don't want it and it only lasts me about 8 weeks if I am lucky...... tisn't worth the risks, hell, illness, her attitude or reminders of my mortality... though there might have been a bit of that lumped in to how bad my circulation really is..... Just as well i have always known that one then eh?!
Got to phone the ward and let them know the good news tomorrow I will thank the nice one but the bs..... just be so good to not have to see her or be under her care again... at least not for the next 4 months at least!
My thanks to you all again and promise to feel a bit better soon.
Oh Sticky your on low grade foal watch.... the odd marked piebald will soon need you on her back but they can't get in the shed now as it has a really good door....... now all I got to do is sort out the floor and get the girls home!
That will be some good eh?!
Hugs to you all and hopefully I will catch up with pm's and the forum soon. Cris xxx0 -
morning Cris just you be gentle with yourself , i am still wishing and hoping those botics start to really kick in , i send bundles of hugs and comfort magic potions and a flying mattress to get you back and forth to the sheepys till they soon home xxI know i am a lady ,all life is a journey xx MAY xx0

There is no rush for you to come back to us: your PAs are doing sterling work, you concentrate on getting YOU better by shifting that infection, make sure you rest as much as you can and the Ark allows (armchairing allowed if that is more comfortable than bed) and let's hope that something good and better will emerge from all this dross. I am thinking of you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
-
Morning cris
All I want to say is leave the messages to your PA, like dd suggests. And you Rest Rest and Rest and get better quickly.
Please take care,
Thinking about you

Skezier, I feel shattered just reading this. I really don't know how you handle it all. Deep inside that manky body of yours there is a hardcore of real steel. You are a star.
OK it's quite nice and warm on foalwatch today. Could you wang us some sunscreen up? Hope the roof doesn't get too hot.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Do you think telling her to rest will make any difference?? :P I dont......I've been telling her that but she has what I call selective hearing
I'll say it again Cris......rest rest rest like everyone says.
Lo ve

Not a chance, Hileena. Maybe we should try reverse psychology - tell her to stop being so soft & get her act together. Maybe then she'd rest?If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Now thats an idea.......
