Maddie messaged me this morning to say she has taken sticky her morning tea and she managed to keep it away from slurps and she has been looking after you
Hope you are back to normal soon
Love Tracey (Maddie is giving you kisses in person)0 -
Thanks Wonky ((((( ())))) slurps, love, pocket riffles and slobbers xxxx
Hi All,
Sorry its still 2 sore arms that don't like to bend and a messed up spine as well.....
I said the right one is the better arm, which it is, and she did the normal place to no avail..... then she did the next one over and got it in but couldn't get the line in.....
In the mean time the elbow and back were starting to object and dummy spit so I was allowed to get back up and lurch about for a bit before she started on the left arm.....
Same thing and we started talking about doing on in the neck and how soon they would do it as I need it by tuesday and monday is a bank holiday. So cus there was none and she could see just how hard it was... and i pleaded and groveled as well she had one more go....
Its in and is 25cm in as well.
She can't guarantee it won't beak down not least cus it is under real pressure from the spasm the vein is giving it but hopefully it will still be working at least on tuesday cus i don't want anymore stabbings and nor do my arms... she did use a scalpel for one bit and I am sure this would hurt less if there wasn't a dry blood soaked wadge of packing under the top thing which i dare not change in case I pull it out.....
That would be my luck and also about right eh?!
Will have to keep it short as I really do hurt and though its off the elbow the said packing is pushing on it when the elbow is bent.
Promise to be better later.
You all take care and more hugs left for you. Cris xxx
Oh and height of embassament... when it was finished... I couldn't get up or off the table..... 2 of em had to push and pull me.... thats embarrassing eh?! Sodding lumber is still spitting its dummy out as well......0 -
O.M.G. You poor, poor thing, I hope to whoever that this proves worthwhile for you next week. skezier, I completely missed this, being far too wrapped in my own trifling little wobbles, I am so, so sorry. Please rest as much as you can - I know, I know, the Ark will be demanding attention as per usual, but in between Ark duties ensure you carry out skezier-preserving duties. Please. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

We'll hold you to that promise, skezier.
Sorry about the line. I've had the rare good one but mostly they dig into something tender. Or, as in your case, the wodge of packing does once it's got hardened with dried blood. Best not attempt a wodgectomy though. Here there be dragons.
Hope you're soon feeling a bit easier. You've done good, girl.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh Cris, so sorry you have had such a rough time. I'm keeping everything crossed for you that the line holds for next week.
Thinking of you loads and sending lots of love and ((()))s.

Hi DD, Sticky, Tilly and All,
First Toni's Lucy had her teeth out and is ok. I got the picture to prove it so sent her one of my arm..... anyone want to join in blood and all...
Though .....
Lot less than earlier and a trip to miner injuries... man did that bleed.....
Thankfully they changed it all and cleaned it up and now its just seeping which is tmi but I am feeling sore and tired of the line as its still causing the vein spasms and they are level with my shoulder and seem to go down the side of my chest as well... its just not nice said the internal 4 year old yet again
The back is still kicking so hard and you know what I was on a memory foam operating table and if thats how comfy memory foam is I shall stick to my 2 duvets under the sheet thing
It took only 2x30 min to paralyze me on that table and its tales all night with the duvets
I wonder if its bleeding cus I am not meant to do anything strenuous..... I have to do water and the left arm is so much stronger that the right but have wrapped it all up in cotton wool bandages, then an ordinary one and then a tubigrip so it is protected... and flushes really well
You all take care and I promise to pull my eight better on the forum tomorrow. ((((( ))))) to you all Cris xx0 -
Tomorrow you must put all your energy into recoverng from today, skezier. You have been not just through the mill but through several. You are one very brave lady. Now please look after yourself or else I shall have to come down off the roof and make you.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

You know the miner injuries nurse seemed to think someone should be looking after this till the hospital take over on Tuesday..... I have got the wipes and saline to flush it but I don;tr have dressings for it and the one they took of was full of blood and this one is not as bad but seeping quite nicely so guess where I will be going before the end of the week end....
I wouldn't mind but the spasms in the chest are not so good....
You both take care, Sticky you keep and eye on them mares.... they are both starting to relax their muscles a bit but n bagging up bar a hint on Owns....
