I been asking them to do something for over 9 months. i have told the how bad it is, how much it hurts and impacting for almost as long its continually been put down as a suspected ulcer and I kept saying it wasn't..... got a printed readout now and will seeing the gp with it... would love to see the one I spoke to on the phone but only to yell at him YOU WERE WRONG!

Will try and see a nice one though and bin the teasyflakes before hand

T is shift... their diagnostic side is shift and their waiting times is also shift..... I am so angry with them but wont say anything yet cus what do you know got to wait to see the gastros again now... what do you recon... 4 months, 5 or a year?!

Any of the biopsy bits with positive readings and well i shall really go for them. I don't suppose it will make much impact but I would feel better

lad the pits a bit less deep and shall be even more glad when I can put down this cap... I got a hernia you know (((( )))) xx

I know you have been asking, but it took you really having to strop (which is not you) before they responded properly and that isn't on. I think that was kinda my point: doctors (even the shoddy ones) get to know which of their patients can put up with stuff and I reckon they use that as an excuse not to act. You finally called their bluff and yes, they were wrong. I must go to bed - I hope you are able to get some sleep tonight, I shall look in first thing, I promise. DD

Hi DD,

The damage was caused by having to wait 9 months for them to bother to see me and thinking it was crohns related (mind it might be loselyish) and this endless ulcer thing cus of the diclo's.... i stropped over them leaving me waiting for longer than they said after all ready waiting 9 months if that makes sense?

I also stropped as the person i saw was insistent it should be seem asap and the one in charge who I didn't see said it was a routine crohn's endo..... it wasn't and well thankfully that's turned out to be true else I would have to swap the trasyflakes for humble pie

I know they will now make me wait again for how ever long it takes before I can find out about treatments the stricture and meds.... Mind going to beg the gp to leave me on the nexium cus that's the happiest its been for almost a year.... wonder if they will cus they are expensive too.....

Sometimes only a strop will do flower and goodness knows you deserve a few after the lax way they have been fobbing you off! Hope they do let you stay on the new meds and hang the expense if it helps more than the others.
Keep pestering for the treatment please.

I hope you managed to get some sleep last night. If not I hope you can get some cat naps today and rest your body as much as possible, it was a rough day yesterday. I think you were mighty brave not to have any sedative.
I hope they don't keep you waiting too long for the results.
The new meds they are going to give you, well I hope now they are the right ones for your condition and you can start to feel more comfortable.

The deer and I have just popped on to your thread to say "hello". So well done with what you had done yesterday - and how brave to do it without sedatives. When I had a routine endo/colonoscopy a couple of years ago, it was difficult enough WITH the sedatives so I think you are so brave.

Glad you don't have an ulcer so may be able to go back on the Diclo but sorry about the other stuff. Really hope there are some effective meds to help with the GORD etc. Hope too that you don't have to wait long for the biopsy results.

So glad that that Toni is visiting you tomorrow - you will, I think, be just about flattened by all the ((()))s she will be bringing from all your friends on the forum

Hi Cris,
No wonder you are aggrieved and thinking about it would still be going on if you had not pushed them this time. I hope they get the letter off to your GP quickly so you can start on some medication. The hiatus hernia is bad enough on its own.
May be the alternative to the diclos might be worth a try. I am so sorry that you have had all this put on you.
Take things steady today and hopefully you get a good response on Wednesday. Oh and Toni is coming tomorrow that is lovely.
