Thats me home safe and sound
Firstly I would like to thank you all for the wonderful comments, support and encouragement. It really means a lot to me. I hope to join in with the forum again soon but for now I will just pop in and out as I cant get comfy enough to sit and type for very long. If I am comfy on one side, I am not on the other. I spend most of my day shuffling around in my chair and am not doing too well sleeping on my back. Aw well, every day that passes is another day closer to me feeling better and getting back on my feet.
Hope you are all well and have a wonderful weekend. Sending you all love and huge hugs xx

Fantastic news, weajean. You've done so well. I bet the surgeon(s?) (I think you said you'd have 1 per hip) are very pleased.
I love your positive attitude. I never did crack the 'sleeping on your back' thing. Hated every minute of it & didn't sleep much but, in the long run, it's so worth it.
Don't worry about getting back to posting on here. Just use your energy to get better.
Have you managed to stay away from the ktchen sink up to now???? We have spies everywhere, you know.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Wonderful news, nothing like sleeping in your own bed, even if you have to lie on your back. Go carful now and do as you are told and all will be well. Look forward to seeing you posting as and when you are able.

What lovely news weejean, I am so very pleased for you. I have nothing to add to the others' comments but you know what? It will pass, all things do, and you will soon be feeling more comfortable in yourself. Take care. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Jean
So glad you're home because that means-
No being woken before the birds are up.
A cup of tea and a meal when you're ready for it.
Your own toilet.
Privacy.
Peace and quiet.
Having a doze when you like.
And getting better.
Now plenty of rest my girl and don't overdo things, just gentle exercise.
WELL DONE
