Hi folks.
Just thought I would let you know how I'm doing.. The flare that started last week is still bad but slowly easing.. I managed to get out of the house yesterday and today. Dint go far though..
The IBS has flared up worse than every this time around.. So not been feeling very well either.. No appetite, obviously shattered as well..
Just wish it would hurry up and settle down..
Now getting extremely annoyed at the fact that the broadband is down along with the landline. Hoping bt will be along to repair it tomorrow. Sick of the rubbish 3g signal indoors that makes posting very very laborious.... Grrrr.... At least when the broadband is on I can use the wifi..

Right, moaning over and done with. Hope everyone is ok, very sorry if I've missed pocket duties, just assume I was there eh?

    Hi Tony,
Good to hear from you. Sorry you're not feeling good and that you broadband is poorly too, shame the bt man can't fix you as well!!! I'm feeling quite a bit better myself, so I'm passing on some good vibes to you which will hopefully work. Wishing you all the best for a quick return to "normal"

Bad flare, IBS, feeling sick, no landline, cr8ppy broadband and still supporting others. Tony, I'm prepared to canonise you right now. I'm prepared to forego the usual requirement of being dead. If my beloved Mr SW had had all that to put up with we'd also be homeless as the fire emanating from his nostrils would have put paid to the house too. And I suspect he'd also be up on a murder charge - someone, anyone from BT. Look after yourself, mate. Whatever the state of your body, the rest of you's OK.

    Morning Tony

Got my fingers crossed for you that the bt man calls today.
Sorry you are still having a rubbish time with your symptoms, just wish there was a spell I could make up to make them go away for you.
    Take care

Aw, dear Tony, you sure are going through a testing time, aren't you, in all manner of things. You are still dancing at the end of your postings though, bless you.

As usual sticky neatly sums it up. I am not sure about the sainthood but I reckon you are a honorary girl, at the very least. My poor friend, I hope it all eases soon, this is so not on. As for BT - they should refund you a whole quarter's line rental at the very least. Bet they don't. DD

well, what can I say
That is such a lovely response from every one of you. Thank you, thank you and thrice, thank you
I hope that you forgive me for not responding to each individually, but thus far, still no broadband. I have no idea if there is anyone in the street working on it as I'm stuck in bed, moving is a tad painful, and when I do, the old tum feels like mount versuveus (sp)..

This lot has brought a huge grin to my mush..
Canonised? I pictured myself being shot from a cannon for a split second
Honorary girl :?: :!: I don't know if I should laugh, cry, waft my hands in front of my eyes like you strange creatures do, or jump up and down on the spot squealing like a teenager who's just met Justin Trousersnake  :???: :wink:
Instead, I decided to just grin like a loony... Dimples at full depth. Lol
I cannot see the benefit of adding melancholy to my list of complaints, not when I know there are so many folks on here that are far worse off than me and still giving me wonderful messages if support

Oh please don't tempt me, Tony. You may have saintly qualities but I have none. Besides, think what benefits it might have for Mt Vesuvius. OK, I can resist no longer. Get wafting your eyes like a girl. I'm on my way with canon & gunpowder.

was it Mel Gibson in that foul rendition of Scottish history that said
THEY'LL NEVER TAKE OUR FREEDOM :?:
    Well...

THEY'LL NEVER TAKE MY HUMOR

Right...... Been to see the doctor, seeing as I've had what looks like Thames water exiting the rear end for ten days straight...
The flare is just that do no point bothering her with it.. However this 'business' with mi busyness does seem more than mi ibs flaring hence the reluctant GP visit.
She thinks it could be a bug  So go home, wait and see. Some loperamide for emergencies. If I'm worse or no better go back monday.
see, my training at BUMS (BLOKES UNIQUE MEDICAL SCHOOL) taught me that out was nothing to bother them with
The fact that I've got yellow skin is just down to the fact I have Gilbert's syndrome, a liver thing but nowt serious..

Tony, when you get one of those emergencies you might be glad you did the girly thing and got a prescription. It can't be much fun and I do feel for you - even though you're a BUMS graduate.
