Ohh, DD, you are such a supportive person on here to everyone including myself and you are more than entitled to have a moan and get some support from others and im pleased to see everyone has rallied around to send you support!!
I am new to the site and have been amazed at how active it is and how everyone supports each other and understand what each other is going through!
All i can say, is try to take each day as it comes and hope that the next day will be a better day.
Keep smiling, it releases endorphins ;o) xLOVE EMMA X0 -

Hi DD - sorry, coming late to this thread but just wanted to offer a big friendly hug to you in your time of need. Hope writing the poem has made you feel strengthened somehow? As others have said it takes guts to step outside things enough to write something that coherent. Mat xxIf you get lemons, make lemonade0

Hello Hileena (and everyone else) just popping in to say that things are still not that wonderful so I am continuing to rest more than do as that is what my body is ordering and I know I have to listen (because ignoring matters will only make things worse). Take care everyone, I hope you all have as good a Wednesday as you can! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I decided to go out and get some 'fresh' air so I pootled off to Sainsbury's in Daisycar and spent a lovely five minutes or so hurling empty bottles into the various containers they so thoughtfully provide. There was one of Mr DD's despatched whisky bottles, complete with cork/plastic covered stopper and I tried and tried to prise it out. Needless to say I failed, so I cornered a pleasant young man who obliged with no effort all. I then contemplated hurling myself into the bottle bank - it would appear that a bin is where I belong. Right, it's time for a cuppa and a biccy. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Glad you nipped out for the fresh air and even more glad you didn't throw your self in to the bottle bank.
ALTHOUGH..... bottled dd would make a fortune  . All that wit, courage, lovableness, brains, come here i will help you get in
Enjoy your cuppa and biccy
Love juliepf0 -
You, my dear DO NOT belong in the bin, well, the loony bin perhaps
I'm glad that you and Daisy managed some fresh air, I've not managed that one today but there is always the morrow eh?
What is that sage advice you always give me?
"rest, rest, then rest some more!"
Hoping that things ease soon for you my dear dear DD...
Blokey hugs coming your way, hope you can handle them lol

Hi DD,
hurling bottles in the bottle bank - very theraputic.
Hope the resting pays off and a glimmer of respite appears at the end of the tunnel.
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
Be careful Toni or I might send some your way :shock:Me-Tony
