    Morning DD,had a great time at party last night,had to use my old mascara the black just didnt look right (pictured myself in spiderman suit ,not a pretty sight).

    I was wondering how you got on last night, Mig, and I am glad to hear that you went with familiarity rather than glamour! I am feeling somewhat better today, thanks to two diclofenac. I popped one last night (in desperation) and another at about 9.30 this morning and already I can feel the difference. The joints are still horrid but I can move more freely, so in honour of this I am taking the Clatterator into town! I will be escorting Mr DD to a cashpoint as he owes me money. That is all the carrot I need to shift this rotten body of mine - the pain is worth approx £50. :D DD

    I've been out and it was a blast. A band of drummers called the Samboomba Band were in town - oh what a sound! Pure rhythm, tambourines and bells jangling, whistles piercing, small drums clattering, medium drums adding strength and great big bass drums booming away. 'Twas wonderful. I sat and listened, danced about in my seat (I haven't danced for years but I can still move the top bit!) listened some more then reluctantly came home. I'm paying the price for the walking but oh boy! This time it's worth it! :D Right, cuppa and cocos methinks. DD

    PS I forgot. :oops: Once again thank you, one and all, for helping me through this tough time. I am a grateful and humbled DD.

    Hi DD, so pleased you had a good day :-)
    I think just getting out in a bit of sun albeit cold, makes a helluva difference :-)
    Sounds like the band were a highlight :-)

    I went out for Sunday Lunch with a pal today, no walking involved, just eating, but the fact the sun was shining made my day!

    At church sometimes I get so sore that I sit down but I think well I'm dancing inside even if its not on the outside :lol::lol::lol:

    I'm sulking. I was fine earlier (even got aubergine coloured nails to prove it!) but now? t2607.gif I think it's due to tiredness, never mind eh? Right, I must clear up, move the ironing heap from one room to another, prepare a lesson - ah, just remembered summat: my favouritest baby ever may be coming round at 3.40pm - that'll help cheer me up! :) DD

    He didn't come. :( I probably won't be seeing him again as his childminder days have changed. :( He's only the second baby that hasn't howled when being held by me, hence my soft spot for him (I don't 'do' babies - I know, I know, I'm an unnatural woman). I am saddened, he would have really helped things today. Never mind, onwards and sideways I plod! :) DD
